  • Filmed on May 1, 2015: With Ethan. Huge thanks to the administrators for sending a fine student with a key to get me on these elevators here in the facility! :D I was here for a Special Prom Dance last month ago.
    PLEASE REMEMBER: Always ask permission from someone that woks in the building to let you borrow his/her keys to ride a locked elevator, and NEVER EVER use your elevator keys to unlock a restricted elevator without permission AT ALL! Unlocking a restricted elevator is called breaking and entering and your key can be a burglary tool, and you can get into severe trouble!!!!!

    Wow! Interesting elevator! Today I got full permission to ride the elevator at my school and I didn’t even have to ask anybody to ride it because I saw a couple students ride it without asking anybody and they didn’t get into trouble when a teacher saw them. It was a Kone elevator with a Montgomery vector chime and it was two speed door and it had an epic motor! It was a big elevator I think it was a freight and passenger elevator. Luckily it wasn’t keyed off.

    You do make a good point with the elevator keys. At least you had permission to use them and at my old school I was authorized by my teacher but I wouldn’t use them myself even with permission I would just let the person who is authorized use it.

    Keyed off elevators are cool. I am a proud owner of elevator keys, but I only use them with permission. I always get a good laugh when building staff come to me for keys tho their equipment!

      Elevation Station Productions On the other hand, Benoit loves taking machine room and lift surfing without permission

      Beno lives in England, where it's legal to lift surf without permission. Not advised in the US though.

    Interesting, I used the stairs all my high school career, not one time I used the school elevator!

    The students might get a detention if they use the elevator key to take the elevator without permission.

    My high school elevator requires an RFID badge but the idea is still the same. If i, the student uses a personal badge to access the elevator “illegally”, would I still go to jail or just get in trouble with the school?

      @JimLiElevators  Před rokem

      Not necessarily go to jail, but more so get in trouble either to the principal or probably in school suspension.

      @@JimLiElevators not as bad as getting arrested but yea even as an elevator enthusiast myself it’s not worth getting suspended to avoid a trip up the MPE
