Playing Musical Elevators in Downtown Norfolk

- (March 2019) We came across this set of THREE Schindler hydraulic elevators that only go up one floor. So what happens when four elevator enthusiasts visit? We play "musical elevators" and ride all three!
Besides us having fun riding the elevators, these are decent for what they are. It seems a little overkill to have three elevators for this, but I guess someone decided three was necessary.

@@stlelevators I thought it was I thought maybe you just cut the end of it off because I have the original on my channel under my elevator nudge mode videos because shortly after Aaron starts talking about the cameras, one of the elevators goes into nudge mode is the guys are leaving

We just need some music that plays in the lobby and stops once everyone's in an elevator (I think that's how musical chairs works XD)

It was!
This is just like the Disney Springs' Orange parking garage in Lake Buena Vista FL! They have 3 Otis GEN2 Elevators that go 2 floors from Ground to the bridge and they also have a total of 7 elevators for 5 floors, 4 in one bank and 3 on the other! Plus they are all gen2's as well! Crazy
Only thing they could have done more insane would be to have made them traction or have center opening doors

On Augest 1st 2022 I came to the Town Point Park to try and ride these Elevators but unfortunately they were blocked off :(

Great elevator
They did this likely due to the fact that cruise ships dock here, and these get SUPER busy when they do. Trust me, I've seen how the crowds can get.

I would’ve thought there’d be more elevators in that case like in Port Everglades (Fort Lauderdale, FL).
