First CZcamsr I've been able to watch from start to finish which says a lot. You are to the point. Others blab on and on, you are like "this is what I use, this is how you do it". To the point, no fluff. You don't have annoying music playing either! 😂 Love you! You're very talented and your videos are the best of the best!

I found the cone form at Goodwill for $1 and decided to try this project last year after seeing many of your craft videos. The cones looked great but the spackle was so moist after adding paint to make "chocolate ice cream" that I had a difficult time forming it into a realistic form. You can always use air dry clay in the molds so as to avoid weight, and put tinfoil inside to fill out. As for chocolate you can use colored pufft paint or colored hot glue sticks. I make it that way so it's light enough to use them as Christmas ornaments

I’m a wreath maker and stumbled on your videos and I can’t stop watching! You have so much talent and it’s inspiring me to try some of these faux sweets out myself to add as embellishments to my wreaths (which can get costly) 2 quick questions if you don’t mind.. first if you have the spackle in a air tight container can it be saved for future uses...About how long does it last before you have to replace? And in this video with you ice cream scoops do they stick to the cone when dried or do you have to go back and glue them together when dried? I appreciate your time. Thank you.

NoWomanNoCry69 Hi! Thank you ! Yes the leftover spackle can last a long time in a air tight containers! Sometime the edges harden and I just wipe them with wet paper towel. When I did my cones the spackle stuck on well but if you have any problems you can use glue!

I love, love, love your videos and so glad I found you. I tried the ice cream tonight with the light-weight spackling and I can't seem to get my consistency to be like yours. I tried 3 different flour measurements and ended up having to add a little bit of water to one of them. When you add your flour do you add the color first and then the flour? Would you say the flour to spackle ratio is 1 to 1? I really adore your creations and wanted to decorate my craft room with them. I also love your green shed too, it's adorable! :) Thank you for sharing your talent, it's amazing!

Melanie Brinkley Hi!I add the flour last but I never measure !The more paint you put the more flour you will need.I put a fair amount!Keep playing with it you’ll get it after awhile !😊

Hi, I really love your videos. Thank you for being such an inspiration. We don't have lightweight spackle in my country so pls can I use lightweight drywall compound instead. Thanks

Hello dear, such an informative and fun tutorial!! I'm curious, if u add less water to the plaster, would u be able to use it as frosting or is it too heavy?

Thank you :)I don’t think that would work, plaster if Paris is yard to work with as it starts to harden quickly!

Hi, your icecream is so pretty. DO you think cornstarch would work in place of flour when adding to light weight spackle?

I tried adding corn starch to a too wet batch of spackle once, and it would sort of firm up while I was mixing but then immediately collapse when I stopped (similar to how when you mix corn starch and water it moves like a fluid when undisturbed but thickens up when in motion). I'm excited to try flour!

I love the ice cream scoop, does putting flour in with the spackle put a life span on it or do you seal it?

Dena Wipprecht Personally I haven’t noticed anything different with flour !I always actually added a bit of flour at times when I made anything with spackle !

Its wonderful how u can make these things from simple plaster. Sadly I dont have access to all of these things like caulk and plaster is there anything else u could use instead?

Love your videos! I am having one issue though. I made several of your items for a Christmas display, it was great last year, but when I pulled them out to use this year I had noticed mold, most likely because of using flour. Is there anything else that can replace the flour that's not food based? Thank you!

Oh dear!I have never seen mold on mine !O think some people use baby powder.
