  • Make a GIANT ice cream cone (almost 6 feet tall) for under $20! This big ice cream cone is the perfect decoration for any ice cream party, like an ice cream themed birthday party, graduation, baby shower, or gender reveal.
It's hard to believe this giant ice cream is made with just a few basic supplies, like cardboard, newspaper, and paint.
Although this giant ice cream cone prop will take some time to make, it is SO inexpensive and is such a stunning party prop that it's definitely worth the effort!
I made this ice cream prop for an ice cream gender reveal party that I styled for Oriental Trading Company.
The top portion of the cone (with the ice cream scoops attached) lifts up to reveal either pink or blue helium balloons to share if the baby is a boy or girl.
It's such a creative way to share baby's gender or decorate for any type of party!

I order from oriental trading all the time. They have been around and are great for the church functions and gatherings. That’s good to know you work with them! 😊

I absolutely loved this tutorial 😍😍! I'm considering giving this a try on a smaller scale though (for some out door Christmas ornaments). Q: How well would this hold up outside in the elements? I live in Northwest Missouri and it can get pretty cold, windy and rainy here this time of year. So would this process work for an outdoor theme, or is it more for an indoor theme?
