Great trick! However in the way I see it, the reveal of the card under the poker chip is killing the effect a little bit, because the final card reveal is then weaker and you always want the stronger effect to be at the very end. It may also give away that the chosen card was forced and it kinda breaks the flow of the presentation. I would reveal the card first and then hand the poker chip to the spectator and tell him/her that the lucky chip influence controlled their actions since the very beginning. Or, even better but harder to pull off, find a way to conceal the chip in the spectator's pocket and make them search for it after the first reveal.

Great trick. Loved the force. It fooled me. This reminded me of a technique to edge mark a card that I read about years ago. Whilst inserting the card into the deck, scrape your thumb nail on it. Works well if you're using a borrowed old deck tbf. Anyway thanks for sharing 👍
I would also put in a "peddal move" with the chip when you take it out, just cassual but just to enforce the idea that its a normal chip. But yeah, first reveal the card, then the chip is better in my oppinion
Thanks. I do it impromptu with a top change and with a bicycle deck Of cards, because there is a 10♥️ printed on the box. I learned it to work on the classic force and the top change. If i fail my force, i do an other trick. I give a lot Of Time the spectator the chance to change his mind when they place the box on top Of the ribbon. At the end, i Say that maybe the trick is not as good as they expected : révélation Of the 10♥️ printed. I have a lot Of Time to top change. After, i Saw : hopefully this Time the trick will be excellent. And they see the card. I did it Yesterday, great reaction.
I love this trick Sean! I actually performed this for my dad but instead of the poker chip and the marking on the card, I controlled the card somewhere near the top of the deck (example 5th from the top) then I did the trick as you teach it. Meaning I make a few piles, there card is on top of the second pile, I put the right number of cards on their card to position for the counting, then I did a Magician Choice for the piles, then we counted down to their number to reveal their card. #Roadto9K!
