Welcome! Just noticed your newbie tag. Enjoying your range of pictures on the back wall (I love art books) and that you have different shelves for different types of books. Doing a quick book shelf tour is so obviously a great way to answer "what books I read" that I wish I'd done that myself. This is a very good introduction and you've obviously filmed over time to make it.

@@katsfieldnotes I know a family of confirmed readers who have a house with different library sections in different rooms: kitchen is travel and maps, dining-room is biography and nonfiction, and fiction is on a landing upstairs near the bedrooms - so never stuck for something to read if you can't sleep! And makes it easy knowing where any book is.

I'm also always trying to get into poetry but have a hard time picking collections to try! What I've been most consistent with is listening to a podcast called Poetry Unbound and then when I really like a poem there, trying to get the collection it's in. Also I love the stacks of books with your plants.
Omgosh Ive hears of it but havent ever made a practice of listening to it! This is such good advice, thank you!! And hahahahha gotta get creative with this scarce square footage 😂

When I first started I kept hearing that those first few vids are going to be your worst vids, but you have to push past those starter ones to learn your style and get better, so just keep at it!
