    Except that part near 0:50 where I basically used a bunch of trial and error to remove the circle on the right (and I did it differently from how you did, obviously) AND the sweep part of the helix, this was extremely helpful.

    Hi Sir, I could not perform the shell command. What might have been the problem. Is it due to the shell thickness or the selection of the faces that are to be removed?

    • @sourcecad
      @sourcecad  Před 6 lety

      There could be a lot of reasons that could potentially prevent shell operation but the most obvious is the shell thickness, make sure it is appropriate.

      SourceCAD 0:50 you are trimming the 2 little circles. when I tried to do the same, i couldnt trim the circles to be left with those arcs you have in the video. I can select the circles after the trim command but after enter it shows me that it can trim the entire circle. I hope it makes sense. my question was...how can I make to trim just a part from my circle?

    Sir, i am very very beginner of autocad(2020) i have a problem in autocad(2020)... whatever i draw line,circle etc..they look like tiny dots on screen...if i draw a line of 100mm or whatever length it look like a dot...if i draw a circle of radius 50mm or any radius it also look like a tiny dot....even after zoom in they look like dots....so i tried drawing objects with a very very lage dimension like in hundred thousands (eg. 719,478)...they are visible to eyes... once i draw a cicle randomly and i measure it...it show radius=719336...then it is visible to eyes....again i tried with a radius of 300...it look like a small dot....so why small sized objects are not visible ( look like very tiny dots)…it is unit problem or zoom extent problem I don't know.....pls pls🙏🙏 provide solution...i will be very thankful to you....i have photos of my problem...if u give whatsapp no. I will send to you.
