I'm from the UP and honestly her not saying the city like that just confirms it lmfao unless you're from one of the 3 "bigger" cities you never bother with your real town name 💀
i really don’t think it’s that, i think if she named her town they wouldn’t know the name so she gave a bigger city that they may know. it’s like saying you live near LA but really you’re from some smaller unrecognized town
It's called a joke, i'll give you the benefit of the doubt though, humor is very much subjective.
Respect for Paul though for battling his drug addiction and really finding a meaningful purpose💗

Funny how Anna mentioned how the other guy was wearing a suit, like "over compensating" when she was also wearing a suit. When she said that I immediately knew she was the mole because she had to mention it because she's basically describing herself.
Powerful point
She really said "idk what a pastor would wear on a Saturday" while trying to convince that she was also a pastor 😂
@@theresamedina3759 That’s exactly what I thought! But then I realised that she was actually saying what she assumed he was thinking lol
Typical case of projection lol.
Oxford and King's College are top schools in the world. Kudos to Don 👍 . Plus Zach saying he had a budget as a youth pastor makes it seem like he's unaware of so many churches that don't...its giving privilege to me
thank you
Did you just infer that because Zach said he had a budget, he is privileged due to other church’s not having a budget?
His idea seemed more based on the fact that as a young pastor it’s not up to him to contribute to youth funding. Plus outside of that response it’s so sus for a pastor to be guilt tripping for money, so that prob played a part
Sorry but Anna got voted out because she was terrible at her pitch, it had nothing to do with her being a woman 💀
I mean also statistically... *cancelled*
Yeah, she just makes other women look bad. Like, stop making yourself out be a victim. Take your L like a champ and goooo! 🙄✋🏾

Even before the reveal, I knew he was a pastor! He had such a calm voice and beautiful, kind presence so I can totally understand what you're saying.
Dominic and Don I had no doubts were the real deal. Had that perfect pastor energy! Definitely seem like lovely people to be around.
He asked probing questions that were like a sniper scope. Sounded like one to me.
Paul thank you for sharing your story about drug addiction. Hearing your story is truly inspiring and I wish you the best of luck with your journey.

He's the fakest one, super judgemental. If you read the bible, you know that there is no such position as the "pastor of pastors" it's a level playing field. The only teacher is CHRIST.
@corypalmer5495 no he literally pastors fellow pastors, as in he is a leader in his denomination. He's not praising himself as a better pastor lol
@@corypalmer5495how you gonna be bold and wrong
It's ironic that the two individuals biblically disqualified from being a pastor were in fact the two moles. That said, how did they not choose those two first....
What qualifies as a pastor in the eyes of the CZcams channel? I agree they’d be out first if I were to vote personally but there is a rising trend in new age Christianity where people who aren’t living biblically believe themselves to be Christian etc. If he says he is a gay pastor and jubilee agreed with his worldview then for the sake of the game I’d have to figure out whether his worldview was genuine moreso than whether he was biblically sound.
It would have been really interesting if an actual woman pastor had participated, to hear her experiences compared to the others!! instead of a very sus mole

@@corypalmer5495 it wasnt based on that.
IKR only an actual atheist would resort to saying that
I absolutely hated how both Daniel and Anna used the victim card (queer, feminist) to blame and guilt trip the others, when in reality they both were pretty transparently the moles. It cheapens legitimate moments where people are discriminated against for those reasons. Really awful, IMO.
Daniel saying how he only “had” to help someone in passing over once and he HATED it…
That was the moment for me.
The word “hate” was the moment I felt a little odd. I wasn’t sure if a pastor would use hate, even if they were speaking in young person lingo
A minister would feel privileged and humbled to have the opportunity to pray someone over into eternity- even if it might be uncomfortable.
him expressing how much he hated it was a dead giveaway, i have never ever heard a pastor talk like that
They definitely did Don dirty because he clearly was telling the truth. They were grilling him most of the time and he gave sound answers.
EXACTLY!!
He sounds like a Pastor, he LOOKS like a pastor. He could have been the mole and I would have never voted for him 🤣🤣🤣
because he's black
As a Lutheran, I'm extremely proud of the answers, consideration, and thoughtfulness Dominic showed. Likely, he is a bishop and we love our bishops!!!
He's LCMS. We don't have the position of bishop in the LCMS.
All the pastors in this video seem so nice! I’m happy they got to be in this video (: loved it!
I'm also an atheist but I'm happily surprised by how the pastors handled voting people out. They did a lot more critical thinking compared to going off of generalizations. They definitely did Don dirty though 🤣 At least to me, he seemed the most pastor-ly based off his answers and knowledge.
he's the one that reacted negatively after being voted out and thats what gave it away for me hahah
Hahah I probably would have voted for him too because he was a little hesitant with his answers, a 50/50 swing for me lol. I’m also guessing that you might have had some poor experiences with pastors in your past which I’m sorry to hear… even the representatives of faith aren’t all saints and even then, we all are simply imperfect humans at the end of the day
@The Meaning is Always Vague As someone who is being raised in religion(I’m atheist) I’ve noticed that most pastors seem to be able to think critically to a center degree but then other than that no, I don’t expect much critical thinking from pastors as a whole(I’m speaking for myself I dunno about anyone else).
@The Meaning is Always Vague Dude, I never said any of that.
Adding this to my comment: No, I'm not implying pastors cannot critically think. I'm only comparing past Odd One Out videos where most of the guests generalize others when voting them out. I was expecting this video to be the same, but glad it wasn't. Please don't make assumptions. I'm always happy to clarify.
Do 6 Christians vs 1 Secret Muslim next or vice versa
This would be really interesting to see, especially since they're both Abrahamic faiths. Would like to see it.
AND vice versa 😃
Lmfaoo that’s what I though too
I think it would be difficult for a Muslim or Christian to go against their faith. Even if they're acting, both religions still believe words have power.
@@browniboi2908 In Qur'an actions are based on intentions. If someone goes on a game show pretending to be a christian as a form of acting is it not blasphemy to my knowledge.
Similarly, if in a movie depicting a war between muslims and pagans if a muslim plays the role of the pagan he has not commited sin in the basis of the Qur'an.
for those of you who don't know, Lutherans have different "synods" or associations that each hold to very clear tenants on every aspect of Christianity you can think of. Out of a heart for avoiding dissension and upholding Truth consistently, it's a high priority amongst all the Lutheran synods, even liberal ones, to hold very unified agreement amongst each of the congregations about that synod's established doctrine on major and minor topics. Anyone is allowed to attend, but not to be a member or take communion if you don't agree with all their doctrine. Because of the history, community, and positions deeply ingrained into each of the Synods, it's not common at all for a local Lutheran church to cherry pick or be unclear about their own positions.
Well explained! I'm a member of the LCMS (2nd largest), and I totally agree! Probably the best illustration of key differences is comparing the ELCA (higher criticism) and the LCMS (Biblical inerrancy). However, there are less noticeable differences in the smaller Lutheran groups.
Paul, it was nice to get a glimpse of your story, I'm thankful for your existence.
"I pastor highschool kids and ive never had any of them ask me that question" probably means they dont trust you to ask
frl💀
I was looking for someone to mention this! Those are extremely common middle and HS questions as a lot of them are coming out of the because my parents said so and more figuring it out for themselves
Well “is baptism necessary for salvation” is just a pretty advanced/obscure question for a high schooler imo

@@gg7437 no it's not lmao. I was thinking about that question when I was 9 or 10. So were tons of other kids. It's not a complex question to ask at all, it's pretty natural.

In a way it's kinda refressing. Usually with these kind of videos they are too forceful with being "inclusive" and representing all genders, races, sexualities etc. Sometimes it's just as interesting seeing a random selection of pastors even if it doesn't come across "politically correct".

There is so much skepticism in these comments of Anna, just like these pastors had. This “bro-bro” sexist mentality just reeks. It sucks that no one listens to what Anna is saying. This all reminds me of my church experience and is why I have peace knowing I will never go back to any church, ever.

Bare in mind that the UP has towns with only a few hundred people- it’s actually very common there to have two church’s… a Catholic Church and then an “other” church, which may loosely align with Lutheran but likely doesn’t even have it listed anywhere. I grew up in the UP.
@@thegastroparesisgoofball1030 I'm from Marquette, where she said her hometown was near, and there are lots of churches here.
@@thegastroparesisgoofball1030 Western Michigan has more churches per capita than many places in the US.
The pastors voted super logically, and the atheists were quick to blame it on some discriminatory bias, but the pastors ended up being efficient
so what ? Atheist people and liberals are in 99.99% of the cases, more intelligent than religious and conservative people
When Zach said that he had never had a high school ask questions like that I wanted to look him in they eyes and say everyone’s thinking it just very few say it lmao
4:08 Maaaaaybe bc he is the authority in the class and 'no one' will stand up a question and create an awkward moment in the room. I had many questions in my head during preaches and 'biblical lessons', but I never wanted to be judged by other people's eye for questioning those things.
My dad is a priest and I’m an atheist, I’m the odd one out
Edit: What is Anna on about about being a woman and that’s why she got out 😭 she didn’t even know the town she grew up in 😭
Fax😂😂
@@Chiefs-Fan 💀noooo you got hard mode
Hope you ain’t gay 😭/j
Damn that's gotta b some strong beef, dw youre smarter than your dad
@@mdmazing183 how'd u know he's smarter than his dad...?
You better be agnostic...lol
dominic looks like a previous math teacher i had
Cool video. With a bit of spiritual discernment thought it was pretty obvious who the two moles were, surprised they voted Don out
She said She was a nondemoninational Pastor and then said Lutheran Church 🤣
Exactly! Non-denominational churches and Lutheran denominations are very different.
Yo Fam I make short entertaining videos on CZcams as well, I’m still working on versatility, But I guarantee you will find something you will enjoy!💛💛💛
Zach hasn’t met many teens questioning their faith then cause that 100% comes up as someone who was a teenager when I was questioning my faith. Or maybe his congregation doesn’t focus on it heavily enough for it to be a concern.
Maybe he’s a part of a church that doesn’t welcome critical questions and are willing to discuss alternative theories
Yo, I respect your opinion… however, that 90 min conversation was edited down to less than 15 mins, so please just acknowledge that you didn’t see everything.🤙🏻
As someone who grew up in the church (and is no longer religious), if I were a pastor and got voted out it would STRESS me out. I think of the "they will know we are Christians by our love" thing - if it's not OBVIOUS to you that I'm a believer then I'd feel like I'm doing something wrong. Whew.
nah lmao this one needs a redo. don deserves justice
I think Anna was the worst mole in this shows history like nobody thought you were a pastor girl…
I see where you're coming from but that's not vegan!!
@@Numb_ LEGIT came here to bring Erin up😂😂😂
Dominic has such a movie pastor look
I've watched nearly every episode of Odd One Out, and without a doubt, these are the two EASIEST moles to spot.
They made this way too easy this time. lol. Most Pastors have this gentleness and patience to them. I could immediately tell who wasn't. not to mention for some obvious reasons
