- The Kleber is a Tech-Tree Tier 10 French DD. It is a gun boat destroyer. It has 8 139mm guns. This video shows 2 games, 1 played on Loop and 1 played on The Atlantic, where I showcase myself with my thought process on what happens in the match.
I do play this match when I record the video, giving you live commentary and thoughts whilst playing the ship.This is actually a recorded video, and not taken from twitch. :D

I'm a big fan of this new video format. It's interesting seeing and hearing your thoughts live in the middle of the game. I recently started playing kleber and I'm having some trouble with winning, so this video gave me an idea on how to properly play it. Thanks malta big fan

Nice video man. I like more the other special French commander with improved rotation for ur guns and most important improved adrenaline rush wich gives an insane dpm with reload booster when is low hp. Also is not necessary turn off your AA since the air detection is same as your AA medium range. Again, nice video I also enjoy that DD

its interesting to see this, i generally play the kleber more like an ambush hunter with CE and RPF instead of the BB farming build. hunting dds with this speed is quite easy. you never get the super high damage numbers but it is allot of fun.

Same here, i average like 60k but its mostly dd damage, just love to delete dds in like 5seconds
This video was perfect since I decided to go down the French DD line watching you and Flamu play and recommend them. I’m getting between 60-70% winrate in Guipard, Vaqueluin and buying Le Fantasque tomorrow. The big difference I’m noticing from my normal IJN DD’s is you are not impacted nearly as often from enemy radars because you are playing further away with better gun range and your speed makes being spotted not a real issue. I think leaning on smoke is often a mistake DD players make. I know I did. The French ships are making me a better destroyer player with farming/dodging and playing loose in open water.

Just got this DD. Took a little while to learn it but now that I have learned it I love it. Prolly my second favorite behind daring. Daring vs kleber play so differently it was little tough at first.

Kleber has very hard hitting torpedoes, but they aren't as powerful as Yahagi's! Strong ship though! If only Auboyneau could be put on Yahagi...

Druid and Colbert are both really fun to play, I have a Druid video I recently posted, and one I posted a while ago which can showcase it for you, in terms of Colbert, I love playing it also, and I have one video on it, but I should try make another video on it!
It's funny finishing both Soviet DD lines then playing French DD. It's impressive how easy and overpowered French DD are.
They're very fun, but a lot of people can't play them and seek assistance when regards to open water gunboating, that's why I'm trying my best to explain in this video. I do like playing Khabarovsk too though.

Yeah, Mogador is pretty much the same in terms of play style.

Since positioning is both the hardest skill to learn and also the most important skill in this game, hearing your thought process is VERY welcoming. I think this would be a great series for you to do if it is easy enough. Just walk us through what is going on in your head as you make decisions. The top Rocket League CZcamsrs do this and its been very well received. Keep it up!
Is the turret treverse slow enough to require the mod over accuracy?
It's very slow, but I think if you're comfortable with the slow turret traverse, you can use aiming systems, good question. :)
I prefer MARCEAU over KLEBER.
Despite its her twin sister Premium,she has a slightly higher standard reload time,and specially for CV games DFAA,plus engine boost also like Klbr.
It feels a little more comfortable in kite n flight mode to farm from distance imoo.
But, because it takes ages to connect because of the long time shell ballistics,in both cases..: No skills,no kills.
Took a while to get the lead right,but when you hit a DD who isn't paying attention,you absolutely shredd it 😅

I turn it off and on, to see if shells are coming towards me, you can do that by clicking ctrl +j.

If you were in a situation where you're somehow forced to play a normal DD role, like say when you're the only DD or something, what would you do in kleber? Do you play that normal DD role or do you still do your normal farming dmg flanking role like you did in these games?
If it’s a 1 DD game I’d probably play in a place where I can apply damage and spot, I’d cap once it’s safe to do so.
@@MalteseKnight couldn't you also use that insane speed to grab an initial cap then gtfo and farm some just to get some points ticking?

Playing French DDs in ranked so I am a big fan of the tips. I love the speed. After these I play my Halland like a lunatic for mixed results

Hey, maybe i can answer for you, been playing since 2015, Repub is fine, good guns, not a lot of them and kind of soft armor, decent speed. Petro is still fine even with nerfs. Nevsky is shit. Kleber is the most fun i have in this game!

can someone explain me how he has 7.6 km concealment in game 1 but 8.6 km concealment in game2 ? Can someone also explain me why he is using concealment mod and not the -40% rudder shift time mod ? I mean isnt kleber supposed to be agile and dodgy and shit ? Sorry I am new in the game, I am just trying to understand what he is trying to achieve by having 8.6km detection instead of 9.6km, meanwhile every other destroyers have around 6km concealment
I have 8.6km detection in both games, also it’s impossible to have 7.6km concealment on Kleber even with full concealment, also in terms of having concealment instead of rudder, is because sometimes having that extra concealment is more useful, you don’t need the 40% rudder to help you to dodge, the ship is perfectly suited without it.

@@MalteseKnight ahahha yeah you are right, but can you please check the minimap in time: 14:14....I really feel like an asshole for keep bugging you about this stupid detection thing but I really wanna know the mechanics. Your concealment keeps on switching between 8.6 and 7.6 km, for example on time = 16:37 detecion is once again 8.6km, however a few minutes later, on for example time = 17:36, the detection is once again 7.6 km. Whyy!!!
Edit: I just realised that "7.6km" is your detection range from air, just after you fire a salvo. The original 8.6km sea detection, on the other side, extends to 16.3km as you fire. Lol sorry for bothering you for such a basic foolish observation mistake
@@bahadiralpcetin That is air spotting, not surface spotting, as when I am using my guns, my surface spotting is my maximum range, whilst my AA spotting is increased in range. It's alright, as long as you got it
hello, I can only put the kleber with torpedoes to 8km and even with equipment and captain, detection is at 7.8km, how to put it to 6.2km?

Yay, I did 8k damage and never felt more naked and exposed doing it... I have no f**king idea what I'm doing in this thing... Conceal is less than my torps, which are utter s**t on top of it... Guns: I guess they are semi-decent for DD? But utter trash compared to basically any cruiser... :-(
Concealment being worse than torp range, is completely irrelevant on a ship which has guns like these. This is a gunboat, if you do not like guns, do not get Kleber, it is not a torpedo boat. You can yolo people who are on islands, but that is not its ultimate purpose.
@@MalteseKnight It's not that, it's just that I'm only used to "not being spotted and trying to stay that way" in DDs... Obviously a DD is paper thin, so how do I do my gun boating? The game I played, I tried to find a good position... Second I was opened up, like 5+ ships opened up on me... I dodged, hid behind island, tried the other flank: Same thing... I don't know how to position/PLAY this thing... Granted, this video gives me some new ideas, but I'm finding it insanely hard... I guess I should take it as a victory, that I actually survived that first game, even if I only did 8k damage. PS: The first WOW CZcamsr that figures out WOW community needs some current, good guides is gonna rake in the views and likes. But atm it's really just replays and commentaries for 99% of the vids and the other 1% is thankfully Yuro's brilliant meme-vids. :-) Lastly, thanks a lot for your content! Been watching for a while and only realized today I wasn't subbed yet! Am now! 👍
