I like your review from an HvZ perspective, where the nitpicks become very real over time and reliability is crucial. I think a lot of us thought this was going to be a pretty hot blaster but their popularity has significantly decreased since launch.
I have big hands so the grip isn't really an issue, but that ridge was. I simply padded it with the same pads I use to fill in plunger heads. It's very comfortable now. I do that to all of my blasters at the area where all of the weight is supported. Like the Hades, I padded it under the trigger guard where all of the weight is supported by one finger. The Hera is lighter and performs much better with the Nerf rechargeable battery. Hera and Prometheus are the most accurate of all the Rival blasters. Soon mine will be mosfet'd and running a 3s just to get it to hit more like my upgraded blasters.
I know this is an older post, but that was great. I just pick up a Hera and hadn’t opened it because I wasn’t sure about that grip. Thanks, I picked up a Perses instead.
