Love to see someone make an agitator mod. Like something that shakes the hopper back and forth on it's own slightly. Giving a little perceived recoil as well as shaking the hopper.
Easy Loading if Just the ease of loading is your main concern -not capacity. A far cheaper solution is to just cut the stock lid about a 1/3 of the way back, so that rearmost section can open up separately. Small loading door instead of opening the entire lid and having to balance it.
I used to paintball they make speed loading pods that have a different top. They are pill shaped and you push one end into the hopper. The "cap" is wadges that slide back and around down the side the tube forces the wedges open like a flower. Wich would also move the rubber fingers on the hopper out of the way. I hope that's an adequately explanation.

My favorite part about Walcom's videos is that he occasionally has Falcom game music playing and with Ys: Memories of Celceta Remaster dropping in March I'm loving this video so much Also The Perses is my favorite Rival blaster right now, I got a Blue one as well
A wide mouth sports drink bottle should fit through the hopper gate. They could be used as a small ammo pod or the top could be grafted onto another container.
You could maybe make a little flat panel that has tabs that stick out of the sides of the speed loader. When you hold the speed loader up to the blaster you just push down the tabs and it moves the rival ammo into the hopper. Think like an over sized Kronos speed loader but loose ammo and a cap.
I finished mine yesterday. I had cut out the top of the battery tray much more but is easier to use. Its the 2200 mah 3s thats hard to get in. I also modded my prometheus and kaos and have not gotten much a speed increase, just a better rate of fire.
honestly the only reason I'd want to mod this to take Lipo is as a precautionary measure should the included battery go bad. I love the thing stock so much that it's not worth the hassle of getting the thing open and potentially ruin a $70+ purchase.
Need 'a' Perses... No... we currently have 6 in our home, hahahaha. Only one has the Out of Darts extended hopper but I just ordered one full upgrade and three additional hopper extenders, so one of the spares will be completely stock for a bit, lol.
Great vid the Perses is SOOOO NICE i bought it twice XD gonna do a STUPID dual wield loadout tricky part is with the extended hopper slinging them both OR lol MASSIVE holsters :P i still want the hopper for sure probably the hopper release, gonna skip the triggers and switch mods stock goes through ammo too fast already
It's relatively easy at a bit of a distance away like say 30-45 feet. The rival rounds tend to float and furthermore when modded the hopup is very exaggerated
Pretty disappointed that it's only shooting about 15 fps faster with the 3S lipo. I think I'll completely rewire mine when my battery arrives to hopefully squeeze out a little more performance
I think Out of Darts actually addressed the paintball pod issue in the hopper video. Possibly something about the rounds being too light to load properly? Don't quote me on that it's only something I half remember

The speed reload is meant to use when loading from a bag or pocket to leave it open so it takes less time

Your reload issue is because rival balls are to light to go through the rubber flaps like paintballs
If there a way wear out fingers of speed feed balls should just go in the rival rounds are little too light compare to paintballs

Maybe use the lid and pop it open to use the tubes of balls. The magnetic lid opens at 45 degree angle. Max capacity is at around 160 for me.
Call me Crazy, Stock is better your load lasts longer and I have never met someone who could dodge between 2 balls even at stock rate.

Nope, you can install the hopper with no internal modifications. Just pop out the hold hopper and install the new one.
