I have it right now, and have all of those symptoms. Doctor put me on an anti viral. The body aches are like nothing I have ever experienced before. Literally could barely move my legs or arms or neck.
It ran through my family right after New Year’s. My 22 yr old son is an EMT who did a 48 hr shift over the New Year holiday. Came home was fine, went to bed that night fine. I awoke early in the morning to the sounds of horrible deep wretching, I instantly jumped out of bed telling him I’m coming, just a mother’s instinct, he said he could handle it without me. I knew from the sound he was sick even though I asked him if he was ok, just hoping it was something he ate maybe not sitting right cause I knew right then what was going to happen! From that moment on I waited for my turn to come. I spent 3 agonizing days trying to fight it off to no avail and watching my family get picked off each day. After my son, whose symptoms were 12 hrs of vomiting and 24 hrs of diarrhea, my husband was next, symptoms were 12 hrs vomiting and stomach pains, 24 hrs diarrhea, along with body aches and then the next 24 hrs of just exhausting weakness, my son’s girlfriend stopped in with chicken noodle soup and ginger ale and sat beside him while he ate, she’s one that doesn’t seem to ever get sick, got it next, her symptoms diarrhea and the chills. I thought i could fight one person having it, 2 people iffy, when the 3rd got it I knew I was a goner and I was started out with a knot feeling in my stomach, then stomach pain, nausea, no vomiting and some diarrhea, and so tired all I wanted to do was sleep!! So we each had some differences in our symptoms.

@@penelopewebling1085 I know it’s the classic stomach bug. I’m a retired teacher, started teaching in 1995. The stomach bug ran rampant about ever 2 yrs. The class had at least 25 third graders, all sitting close together in a concrete block room. So, I’d get it right along with them. It hits really quick and many times little third graders just couldn’t make it to the garbage can or bathroom in time and would vomit wherever they made it to or right on the desk. I’d clean them up and the mess. I don’t like it and the older I get the harder these little bugs hit me. Could over come it pretty quick back then but not so much now 😕🤢🤮

@@penelopewebling1085 It would run rampant about every 2 years, meaning that usually we’d have a rise in a stomach bug that would make a lot of students sick. We’d have about a two week period where a lot of kids and adults would get the virus. Then we might go two years or so that the stomach bug wasn’t a problem in our school it would be something else. In my area during the winter months illnesses such as stomach viruses, strep throat and the flu sometimes made a lot of students sick especially among elementary schools aged kids.
I am good with my Zinc, Probiotics and Vitamin D.

COVID free now for a week but I feel like an alien lives in my gut. It shakes, almost feel like nervous lifts. COVID itself was mild. Husband had solid diarrhea for two days after tested negative. Not during the infection. But we still feel tired, weird, not healthy. He got infected at a new years event, then I was positive 5 days after his symptoms started.
I'm going through it. Brain fog, breathing, but yes, my stomach feels like acid is eating it. Either I'm starving, then can't eat or drink water. Strange.

Yall I actually thought I was pregnant. Because i had a low fever and my stomach felt hard and sick to my stomach as I woke. I just felt very off. Not right and sometimes dizzy.

I had unvaccinated covid back in March 2023 and the first couple of days I thought I was just having a bad gall bladder attack, that led to a bad arthritis attack (I was vaccine damaged from Hep B vax 20+ yrs ago). It is like I passed something toxic out of my gall bladder that gave me BAD arthritis. Looking back, I should have hit the magnesisum laxative hard and I wouldv'e done better, sooner. I was cocurrently developing upper respiratory covid, peaking in total loss of smell and diahhrea. I got sick, I got better. I am fairly high risk, older, not fat, autoimmune from vaxx damage, but I was taking all the right supplements and herbs etc. The fatigue following infection was special and I couldn't drink any alchohol for a while. I figure it took about 8 months for my not so good liver to get back to pre-covid levels. I thought the gall/arthritis attack was a coincidence, but now I am not so sure, it was probably part of the covid infection. Covid attacks weird all over your body and leaves big fatigue. Take care of your liver! NO ibuprofen!

I caught Covid the day after Christmas. Bought a $ 200.00 pair of Spanish leather demi- boots for $ 52.00. I'm not so sure they were worth it. Don't have diarrhea and a bad cough at the same time. .😑👍🏼👢. I hurt so bad...I cried.

Diarrhea and vomiting and nausea are “not serious?” As a doctor why couldn’t she at least give the tiniest bit of advice, like mentioning the dangers of evacuating your body constantly from both ends? That’s not a walk in the park, and at the very least she should mention dehydration, malnutrition, and electrolyte depletion and advise to keep your liquids and electrolyte intake up, and you can drink soup stock if you can’t hold anything else down. And your throat and anus are not going to be too happy. And you’ll be losing time from work for sure. That’s a rough ride! That’s preferable to getting vaccinated?

I got it, what I found additionally that I wake up and my respiratory channels are clogged, I start to drink warm water and slowly I can get it out, with blood.

It was like having intense gas pain all over my stomach area. Bizarre. Then came the nausea and vomiting. I had headache, intense chills and fever for two days, then the fever broke and I could not eat for about 4 days. It went thru the whole household starting Christmas night.

I had Covid back when Omnicron was really taking off about 2 years ago. Worst two weeks of my life! Not only did i have the respiratory symptoms but I had some nausea and some diarrhea. This strain sounds exactly like what i suffered through .
