This performance will always be one of my favorite things of all time related to music. Just. So. Good.
Chills at the end of Part 3 every time! And turn up the volume too! It is the final icing on this whole awesome cake.
Love Part 3 but I am here to represent Part 2 that I feel is underrated where Courtney's voice control is fantastic. Not to mention the drums. There is a bit of a weepiness in her voice that reminds me of Portishead's Beth Gibbons when she levels off notes instead of going straight high notes. It's so good. I swear this band can do no wrong.
@@RageofHades Part 2 is the most compositionally-sophisticated imo and my favorite part, but let's face it... they're all amazing lol.
I love seeing Mike get excited during part 3 as he see's all the work him and Courtney put in on this masterpiece is paying off and coming together
I’m a big fan of part three, but love part one because Mike gets to showcase a small taste of what he can do. His old band Fall In Archaea is the definition of tech. Sweeps, tapping, playing fast, tempo and time signature changes... the whole shebang.
We will definitely have to check them out, thanks!
Good stuff, fellas! Relatable rant from Frankie there. A lot of us know what it feels like to have a band like Spiritbox come seemingly out of nowhere and topple all our favorite bands in no time at all. Their art is mind-blowing stuff, and there's no better example of it than this performance.
