- The new Eibach Pro Lift springs give an extra 2.7" front and 1.5" rear height to better clear 37" tires and improve ground clearance, while maintaining factory ride quality. In this video we install the new springs on the 2023 TRX, and give our impressions on ride quality and driving dynamics.
Thank you to Maximus-3 for allowing us to install the springs in their shop in the metro Detroit area. Also special thanks to my boy Jared for the help with the install!

I got the Eibach 1.6 front spring and I really like the stance now.
Nice video man. Love the little details about cleaning the perch, waiting to tighten the main control arm bolt when the truck is off the lift, and several others. Give us an update after they settle if you don't mind.
Really unique look you've got on the truck. I like it
Dope vid
Hell yeah brotha looks badass
Great video. Please keep us posted if the truck feels any different after having the suspension height recalibrated!
Did you have to get an adjustable Panhard bar? Or there was no axle misalignment with the lift ?
I haven't gotten one yet but I am thinking about making a custom one since Foutz is so expensive. There is about an inch misalignment currently.
can you do a update on these eibach springs?? i see a lot of people on the forum’s saying not good and ride quality very bad..thanks 🙏
Yes will do! Thanks for the input!
Question brother when you go to dealer to program new ride height so shocks work properly is dealer against that cause you’re “MODDING” your car? Thank you in advance love the content
I haven't heard of any issues with dealers, but it's up to the dealer how they handle it. I would think you'd be fine but they may turn down future warranty work related to the suspension or CV axles if they are strict. Thank you for the support!
@@CatchMeOffroad thank you for the response.
Is Re programming the new ride height after springs installation necessary or it’s totally preference to some individuals???
@@alfredoalvarez5520 honestly it won't make a huge difference, especially if you don't go offroad much. You might get a warning light about the shocks at some point though. I can't say for sure...
I drove mine for a few days before programming it and I couldn't tell a difference...
@@CatchMeOffroad thank you brother🤝
Damn I miss my Trx😢
What happened to it?
@@Quon6810 rolled it.
for a small perch collar do you need to recalibrate suspension?
Not 100% necessary but it is advised, to retain full suspension control with live valves.
Do you recommend doing the shock recalibration ?
If you plan on offroading, yes. It will help the shocks determine where they are in the stroke and how much damping they should apply. For street driving you probably won't be able to tell much difference I think...
Have you change the panhard? Heard the car body may sway right
I have not, but it's on my list 👍🏼 my axle is currently shifted about an inch to the right.
Did you have any rubbing at full lock before you installed the lift springs? If you had just installed the leveling springs in the front would 37s clear?
These specific wheels and tires cleared even before the springs, but they would rub offroad when the wheel was turned full lock. If you go more aggressive with offset (over 0mm) you'll probably have rubbing issues with stock springs.
Hey man looking at lifting the front my of trx. Don’t want to mess with anything and make it worse on jumps of off-roading so looking at a suspension lift or lift springs. Can you tell me the difference between the two if you know if and what brands are best for either?
For the TRX, spring lift like this is your best option if offroading. Geiser and Eibach are the two biggest names, but Eibach is much cheaper and arguably better than the Geiser springs (for TRX specifically, based on spring rates being close to factory rates). Been offroading this setup aggressively and works flawlessly! 10/10 would do again
@@CatchMeOffroad thank for the info also do you know how much higher the back is than the rear looking online they have 1.6 inch shocks and 2.7 inch shocks. Want to level it but don’t want it to be higher in the front
Also if I just want to level it it’s fine to only get front ones or do bolth need to be the same?
@@emmettcozad6830 Eibach sells 2 kits, one is the Level which os just front springs. The other is Pro Lift which os all 4 springs, and gives more lift. The front goes up by about 2.7" amd the rear 1.5" with the Pro Lift. That's because the front is lower than the rear stock, so needs more lift to make it match the rear.
Does 2023 have same problem as your 2021 body mounts rattling while off-roading?
No the issue was fixed in the middle of 2022 so most 2022s and all 2023/2024 trucks have the fix.
Can any dealer reprogram the ride height after you put the springs in? Or is it specific dealers that do it
Yes any dealer can do it, it's in their service tool called WiTech 👍🏼 it only takes about 10 minutes tops, so don't let them charge you for a full hour or more.
@@CatchMeOffroad im wondering if that will mess with my tune technically they are reflashing some aspect of the pcm im sure
@@imacerealkilla3341 no it's a different module, the ADCM which controls the shocks only. Won't affect the PCM.
@@CatchMeOffroad awesome thanks for your godlike knowledge of these raptors n trxs
@@imacerealkilla3341 haha happy to help my friend! 😁🙏🏽
Your truck looks great, but the front looks taller than the back now. Is that just me or is it hat way?
The front has settled since this video so it's even now. Also, I have a big tool box in the bed so that weighs the back down a bit.
@@CatchMeOffroad ohh ok. That makes sense. I’m trying to decide which leveling kit to go with and so far I like the way your looks the best. Ultimately I want to run 37x13.50x18 Gladiator X Comp MT on it with a slight wider stance, so I need the leveling kit. Plus I like the look of it leveled.
What offset are your wheels? Im thinking about doing eibachs with 37’s and -18 offset wheels.
0 offset
It really looks good. I may do that to my TRX. Question: Do you need to regear after installing 37s?
Not at all, you can barely tell a difference in tire size. I think it lost 0.5 sec 0-60. Hellcat and 8 speed are a potent combo 👍🏼
@@CatchMeOffroad Thank you. I think I am going to move forward with the same lift and 37s.
@@briandoody4954 definitely a great setup!! Good luck!
I did BFG ko2 37x13.5
Only 36.5 in and lost .2 0-60
@@jamessilvester4622 Thank you. .2 isn't bad. I don't know how many TV shows I've seen where they do not regear. I've seen one video where they regeared from 4:11 to 5: something when they went from 35s to 37s.
I like your results.
Any cv issues man ?
Had one CV boot tear on me, but no issues since. I'm sure it's only a matter of time til another one tears but that's part of the game...
The obvious pros are looking so badass and the obvious ground increase. What have you found to be the cons? I see the power being affected hasn’t really been noticeable but what about geometry? I put eibachs and deavers on my second gen raptor which was a nice upgrade especially for towing. I’ve had my TRX for about 1.5 years and I’m ready for tires. I wanted to jump up to 37’s and this looks like the way to go. My question is are the rear springs any stiffer than stock? I still have to tow and don’t want more sag than I get now.
The 37s lost about 0.7sec 0-60, and maybe 0.5mpg. The Eibach pro lift springs are almost identical to factory spring rates, so it will sag about the same amount amount as stock. CV axles are at a more aggressive angle so they will likely fail faster. A new review video of the springs will drop tomorrow so be sure to check that out!
Will do!
U still have this setup?
Yes love it!
@CatchMeOffroad I bought a lunar and I got at pro bolt on bumper coming. I don't think I'm sold on springs
How does it ride compared to stock ?
Feels identical to me! Spring rates are so close to stock that I wouldn't expect it to ride differently...
@@CatchMeOffroad nice love your truck man why did you traded your old trx it was sick
@@oneday9312 thanks buddy! Old truck was level 1, new truck is level 2 plus it's a 2023 so it has the digital gauge cluster. I removed most of the parts from the last truck and moved them to this one, just changed the wrap and did things a little differently. Still need to install the bed tire rack and a few other things...
@@CatchMeOffroad oh ok i see bet you got good money for your old trx
@@oneday9312 yeah basically same price as the new one before taxes
How does she ride over speed bumps and small pot holes? I put eibach springs on my raptor and it hit rough over speed bumps and pot holes.
Honestly feels just like stock, apparently the front spring rate is only 100 lb/in lower than stock (1000 eibach vs 1100 stock), and rear is same rate as stock. So they are just taller springs with almost the same characteristics as the OEM springs.
@@CatchMeOffroad good to hear. Guess I’m upgrading my springs.
so do you like the ride quality now over what you had before with the foutz leveling kit???
It's very similar, not sure if I can tell a difference honestly. But springs are definitely the more correct way to lift a truck vs spacers, as they retain all factory travel and geometry.
@@CatchMeOffroad thank you
