- R.I.P Ann Delaney. The Angel of Aungier Street. May The Hills Caress You. 7 years on the streets and loved by all. A tragic loss to our city. Our people need to stay safe in Dublin and to do that they need proper health care and safe shelter from the elements. House our people. Anne Delaney homeless.
I have nothing but respect for Ann. This is the sole reason I posted this video, and in response to one comment I want to clarify something. This video isn't monetised. There's no advertisng throughout. I do not gain in any way from this post.

I don't understand how a country that is supposedly one of the wealthiest countries in Europe don't take care of there own flesh and blood! RIP Ann Delaney
Thanks Patrick. I don’t understand either
Ireland is not for the Irish anymore
The current situation is a form of economic terrorism meant to keep the conforming majority working hard for little money and paying high rents and mortgages to the elites. Nothing happens in isolation without a reason. The 15 thousand homeless and the many more thousands in precarious accommodation are there to act as an object lesson to the already housed in work or in public housing. Put up and shut up is the message. If there was a downside to the homeless problem the elites would solve it in double quick time. The only event that solved housing in the last century was the rise of contagious diseases such as TB in slum housing which could infect everybody in a country. This galvanised action by the government of the day to build social housing on a very large scale. Such action is needed now.
Because Ireland's success was a mirage brought about by tax fiddling, book cooking and signing up to globalist devil's bargains. The Celtic Tiger was just the cheese on the mousetrap. 2008 should have been the wake-up call to reform things, but rather, the animals who run this investment fund with a flag opted to reinflate the bubble with hydrogen.
Probably because our government are to busy taking care of themselves and their wealthy elite circle of friends to be bothered about the people who are struggling and to make matters worse take in half the world but ignore your own people you are supposed to represent and serve we may have the name of being a wealthy country but it's certainly not the ordinary working people it's those in power are fantastic at wasting taxpayers money on anything they seem fit to throw it at
I agree completely.
RIP Ann...
It should never of happened.
Thanks for that. Our government is not looking after our most vulnerable.
Never forget the name Ann Delaney..RIP.......
I don’t think I ever will.
I was homless at the age of 14 ann was a true warrior and a legend that gave so many people hope i left ireland and joined french legion they gave me a new life my respect and honour to people that are homless and vunerable may we never pass them by or forget who they are my dream of winning the lottery is for the homless so we can provide new shelters and food kitchens to support them,Please remind yourself some day you could be homless in that same position as we were im glad i survived that ordeal and moved on in life but i never ever will pass a homless person unless i aid and help them in irish we take care of each other regardless the situation is xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Really nice comment.
GOD Bless this Lady..how could an Irish Mammy, in this day and age die on the streets of Dublin's once Fair city..RIP 🤍
Thanks Sandy. Putting it that way makes it all the more sad.
Thats 2 people from carlow who have died in the last couple of weeks on the streets of Dublin.
@verali164 really? The other one wasn’t nicknamed “Carlow” by any chance? Male. Late 50’s. Ginger hair?
I don't know but i will have a look and let you know.
@@verali164 I’m just wondering if it’s a homeless guy I knew a few years back. I haven’t seen him around.
Do any of those people in the government ever come out of there warm offices ,and talk to the homeless or are they so proud of themselves that the homeless are below them .my God that poor lady May God give her the best room in heaven my prayers are with her .🙏🙏
It's so sad..GOD Bless Anne ..
Well thoses scoffers n don’t care will be judged in the end for their lack of actions . 1:07
Rest in peace ann you are no longer in pain hope you get the best bed in heaven xx

God bless you Ann xx ❤
Thank you for sharing this. It's important to tell people's stories. RIP Ann. 😢
Thanks for commenting. I think a lot of people will remember Ann’s story. Thanks.
Unfortunately, this is the price of Ireland’s success. We live in a world that encourages and rewards psychotic behaviour, such that we now have a ruling class replete with self-serving compradores, sycophants, psychotics and outright lunatics. In other eras of history, these creature would not even have survived, let alone thrived, but here we are. This is what decades of ostensibly easy living has brought us.
The current Irish establishment is objectively WORSE than the British occupational government of the early 20th century.
RIP Ann.
Thanks for your articulate and thought provoking response. Food for thought.
Thanks again. Biblical references tend to drive certain points home in a very specific way.
I think our altruism as individuals is wearing thin at this stage and we have spread our empathy and compassion to its ends.
Well said couldn't agree more
'Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, and weak men create hard times'! This is where we're now at, weakened and ineffectual with intolerably hard times to come. Sadly, this is the natural law!!
Nicely put
She was a Power House who did what she wanted! Nice tribute to Ann on one of the Liberty Soup Run groups and youtube
Thanks for that. I only found them now. I didn’t even know about the tribute which is unfortunate. I would have liked to be there.
So sad to hear about Ann and what she had to go through. Thinking of her family at this sad time. RIP Ann 🙏🙏🙏
Angel of Aungier Street 🌻
Sweet.
RIP Anne you have gone to a better place where there is no pain
So sad to hear of Anne's loss did not know that she was that young the streets had beaten her down. The Government will say there are homeless shelters and there is no need to sleep rough , I would love Leo or Martin to spend 1 night in one of them and see how long either of them would last. People would rather sleep out in Cold and Rain than stay in one of those shelters, they are full of people with Mental health and Alcohol Problems. RIP Ann your Pain is over hope you are in a better place.
RIP Ann, a bed of heaven to her.
This is what happens when you throw your own children out on the street to make way for the alien stranger. Treasonous government to the native Irish
R.I.P Ann AMEN 🙏🙏❤️
God bless you bro.
God bless her soul, the Lord has a special place for those hardest done by , on this earth.Rest in peace Ann.🙏🙌
✨ As someone who done the whole homeless, hostels, tents thing in my 20's - 30's, I can tell you it's an awful way to un-exsist. But no way could I do it in my 40s or older. For me the worst part was in the morning with no bathroom to run to, no kettle to make a cuppa & then the longest of days ever. Wasn't as many back then so I'd all day to find an empty, clean, safe building to spend the night. But they're all being patrolled & secured now so that options gone plus we didn't have to compete with refugees, like they do now. I was on housing list for over 20yrs so there's not a day goes by that I don't Thank God for the roof over my head. *RIP ANN DELANEY* ☘️
R. I. P Ann ❤ this country needs to take care of our own people first
Agreed friend
Take to the streets now and demand this government end it's.

Rip ann
The entirety of the British Isles has fallen far when yet another one of our own dies on the streets. This is a tragedy brought about by greed and a vile lack of compassion from politicians. RIP Ann Delaney.
I drink around that area gave her my odds lots of times 😌
Fair play to ya.
@@bogtrotterErin there is a lot nice people sleeping on the streets just some give the homeless a bad name 👍
@@johnnowlan9963I've been homeless my childhood hasent been the best I'm trying my best every day
You’re a truly decent human, a humble person that gave what you could offer up to help others.
The housing crisis isn't hidden, it has been there in plain sight for over 10 years and all Irish citizens stood by and let the political class act like they cared. What's done is done, the question is whether there are enough citizens awake to the cultural and physical destruction going on all around us or whether too many are still easily distracted by the mainstream acceptable issues of other people in other countries.
Thanks for your comment.
Poor poor lady , This should never never have happened to a human life, Ann Delaney may you rest in peace, you now have a beautiful bed in heaven ❤❤️🙏🙏
Thanks for commenting
Seeing as how "our" leaders are from rich backgrounds, and privately educated (or so I believe)... they don't have any decent feelings for the poor and the working class. So the best we will get is "She will be in our thoughts and prayers". Also they might show up to a funeral for a few votes.
Then they will bide their time hoping things will simmer down and it will be back to BUISNESS AS USUAL. Of course that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.
Thanks for your comment. It may just be your opinion but I share it with you.
@@bogtrotterErin Your welcome. I never met the woman but I feel your pain.
She was very sweet god love her.
May she rest now ,for all the people young and old living on our streets ,you are a decent man ,we need the government to listen to people like u, such a sad reality ,

I suppose we're far right for acknowledging the death of this poor lady ,disgusting government in this country, rip ann❤
Tonight i saw the news article and realised who it was, i remember always seeing her by tesco when i went by on the 68, i have to admit seeing her picture tonight from when she was well really shocked me and made me realise how easily any of us can end up in the same situation as ann, i hope she is happy and free of pain now and i wish all the best to her family, i won't forget you Ann Delaney
That’s a lovely comment and I thank you for it. Can I ask where you saw the news article? Was it about the funeral or a recap of the weeks news?
@@bogtrotterErin not at all man of course, I saw it on my Google feed, think the article was from the irish Times. I hope you're keeping well too I know what it's like to lose a friend in an untimely way
@@Vigilante311 thanks for your kind words.
The mental health services in Eire are draconion and there are a serious lack of public rehab centres for addicts that want help. Why is the Irish govt not looking at Finish solutions and tackling the issues- because they don't want to represent ordinary people, only big corps n themselves. Keep marching in the name of this lady and all the others...xx
We certainly need more access to addiction treatment and to see addiction in terms of a health issue.
@@bogtrotterErin 2 taoiseachs who are ex doctorsyet no progress- I think that says it all lamentably!
Isn't it amazing not even mentioned on rte
Really? I’m not surprised.
RTE is owned by the traitor's we have as government nothing will ever been shown once our government are pulling those string's
Thanks Margaret.
i knew Ann well i am a big fat guy i ran across the road last year to chat to her and bring her over some chocolate,,,,,,,,,,,She looked at me and burst out laughing and said to me Jesus i never knew u could move so fast,,,,,,,,,we both fell around laughing
Ah that’s gas.
Your a good man bog trotter keep telling the truth ❤from Galway
Nice one friend
Irelands “IGNORED” Homeless, Every minister that “IGNORED” Ann is responsible for her death, every minister that contributed to the foreign national Emergency Plan while condemning their own people to death is responsible for her death, it’s not a question of how do they sleep at night, the real question is “why do we let them sleep at night” while our own people are dying on the streets
I agree with you.
In the UK we are now not allowed to join organisations that support the native Brits , that’s how bad it is here.
Do you mean that support your homeless?
MAY SHE BE WITH OUR HEAVENLY FATHER IN HIS GLORIOUS KINGDOM ✝️✝️❤️🔥❤️🔥🙏🙏🤲👑
Have you done any videos of inside the hostels? Would be interesting to see how they can be improved. RIP Ann
Thanks Helen. The biggest upgrade they could have imo is single rooms with lockable doors. The also need therapeutic teams. Multi disciplinary. And case management. Unless the hostel is just respite from the elements, it is just a stepping stone to a better life.
And yet no one took her into their home..
Very true .?x
Would you.
Ann has complex psychiatric issues. I’m sure many people took her in on many occasions. It wouldn’t have been a solution to the issue.
@@williamwallace4924 my uncle gave up everything to look after the homeless and yes i did.
Fair play.
Im sorry for your loss. During COVID they shut our councils down and homeless people could no longer apply through the office. It was all done online and applications were getting deleted and going missing. Its orchestrated and people need to be ready
Thanks for that. Just to be clear, it’s not my personal loss, it a loss to the whole of Dublin. Our council are quite heartless when it comes to the homeless even now if you have time to look at my other videos. Applications going missing sound very dodgy. Appreciate your comment friend.
Poor lady.
Wow. I was so upset about Ann. I passed her all the time. I was really worried each time I went by. I never asked why she was there or why she kept the melting ice, because I didn't want to offend her, but I felt like she should have somebody caring for her, or keeping her under a roof in the winter.
❤❤❤Rest in peace Anne ❤❤❤ you will be missed
May she rest in peace Amen
Ann was a qualified nurse & despite many efforts by her family she wanted to stay on the street. Whatever happened for this to be the only solution she felt was for her literally 💔 I hope the plight of the homeless Irish people is dealt with. Dealt with according to everyone & their individual needs. Something needs to change drastically, don't these people deserve the opportunities to find & at least be allowed the best care available to them. Nobody deserves what happened to this beautiful lady😢
Very well put. Interagency collaboration for those with complex needs.
Keep strong
Thanks bro
Very sad may she rest in peace thing like should happen 😢😢❤
Oh my this is so sad. This has to stop. 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢. Everyone needs a home.
Very sad Shiela
RIP Dear Lady Ann ❤
RIP Ann.
Rip Anne, God love you❤.. Shame on you Leo
Heartbreakig
Thanks Regina
It's Sad to hear about departed soul RIP. Govt should provide shelter/accomodation to those who are in need, provide them counseling and give them vocational training, plug them back to jobs/work or into working mainstream....
Thanks for your comment. The sheltered accommodation at present simply isn’t safe. 4 to a room, all strangers, rampant drug use, thieving as soon as your backs turned, no locks on doors etc. Not to mention the recent bomb in the hostel (which is in another of my videos). The needs of these guys are many but for a country this size these needs could be met if the government saw the issue as important enough. There are those who say it is in the interest of the government to keep these poor souls where they are.
RIP Ann
Why would her friends or family not house her until she found suitable accommodation 😮 😡 Absolutely should not still be happening in 2024 💯 May Ann's beautiful soul R.i.P 🌹
Thanks for commenting

Poor Ann Delaney. I am SINCERELY so SORRY to hear that she was a street person, 47 years old. It is so tragic to hear. How on earth did one of the homes for homeless women and men not take the poor lady in for shelter. Its devastating news to hear of a young woman passing away from being cold and I'll likely with no food to eat .Godbless her ,she shall be in heaven now with our lord Jesus and the angels who shall all look after her.She shall suffer no more Thankfully. 🙏🙏🙏🙏❣❣❣❣❣❣❣
I believe that she, like other homeless folk, didn’t feel safe in hostels. Maybe someone else can comment on that? Thanks for the comment.

Feel his pain
Her family tried to help her but she rejected all their attempts. It was her choice to live as she did. Should she have been compelled to go into mental health care?
It is a discrace" nobody should die living on the streets" it would appear our government have other more important things to do" I'm on the social housing list for 27 years! So it doesn't surprise me what's happening"" God bless this woman,, will leo and the ministers go to her funeral! And say it should not have happened"
Thanks for your comment. To be 27 years in the housing list is just wrong Aaron. That’s terrible.
@@bogtrotterErin you must take into account, single people are very vunerable" and are destinated against when it comes to housing and renting" that's my experience " and it is very detrimental not having , worth" a roof" and a good meal" . Stability is a lott to do with how we progress in life.
@@aaroncummins2752 I totally agree about odds being stacked against those single. Also agreed that stability is paramount when it comes to succeeding or even managing with so many aspects of life.
May God bless you Ann it's so wrong that one of our own Irish people should die on the street.your pain is gone now Ann I hope you have a lovely place in heaven..RIP
To all those mourning the loss of this beautiful, precious, kind and scintillating lady. Ann deserves us all to remember her by making a change to our country. To our mental health services and more importantly to the people of Ireland. Our own people, our ancestral people, those sleeping on our streets, in freezing cold conditions, no hot water, A safe bed to sleep in, A shower, food, social welfare because they have no address, the basic necessities required to survive, no place to call a home. We must use our votes to protect our own people from more tragedy, our people deserve to be protected and treated humanely. Vote this treacherous, execrable government OUT. Vote to change the policies they have imposed. Ireland 🇮🇪 needs to put its own people first.
Don’t allow this wonderfully charming woman die in vain. We must all unite together to achieve a better Ireland. This is heartbreaking 💔.
We do not want anymore people to die alone, frightened and suffering on our streets.
Brilliant comment.

@@bogtrotterErinI just looked and it broke my heart to see her sitting on the wet pavement. Near a Costas. Faces blurred of course. How sad. What an uncaring world we live in. Google maps don’t show street view any more, which is a pity because they used to let you see the same scenes taken in various years. Now you have to get the Google earth app if you want street view but they don’t show previous dates on them.
@@katperson7332 that’s a pity it won’t stay that way. Paul who started this thread found it but I think if you search on CZcams someone has made a video just on that image.
RIP. and one should endure that. In the meantime two apt buildings sit finished and not occupied at Kylemore Rd and Bluebell Ave beside the Sheldon Hotel. One was to be an aparthotel (presumably for migrants as the hotel has been only migrants for years now) and the other an apartment block, beds in and finished sitting unoccupied!
