How to Fillet Whitefish.
In this video I show you the basics of filleting a Whitefish. The whitefish does have a "Y" Bone so there is a technique to get a perfect boneless fillet.

pretty much same method i use for a northern pike to remove y bones. good vid thanks!

Removing the pin bones with tweezers also works. Good vid thanks for the alternative method! Same way you would a pike

Just pull the bones out with tweasers or pliers. You dont cut the fillet into small pieces and you retain much more meat.
