  • The university system is the missing link in our national development programme. It has become a playground for the ambitions of local elites. Majority of Federal universities in the south have Integrated both Christian and Islamic worship centres on campus but this is almost absent in the North

Bishop KuKah is speaking grammar. The fact is that "A nation without conscience is a curse to its people". The thing about Nigeria politicians and leaders is that they have no soul, no conscience, their wickedness has no boundary. It has become clear that Nigeria is in a complete and altered mess. There is no amount of bridge you'll build that will ever redeem Nigeria. Nigeria is rigged in darkness and you expect to survive in that strange environment. The country has gone beyond redemption. A referendum or total disintegration is the only solution to the problem in Nigeria.

@23:01. As much as I am a great fan of Rufai, for the 1st time, I think he should have cut Kukah some slack. Yes, government is a continuum and no matter how we're tethered to our opposing views, we need to soak in reality in our assessment. It will take a while no matter what approach we use to switch from a consumption-based to a production-oriented economy. Quite a number of the methods used now are trial and error while some are strategic. Whilst we challenge their errors, we also have a moral duty to project some optimism. It should not be gloom all the way.

The Bishop made a laughable recommendation about producing the Nigerian constitution in local languages for Nigerians so that Nigerians could know their rights and defend those rights to maintain their dignity. How can a people that are incapable of thinking and reasoning be able to understand anything even if you split up their brains and dumped the constitution there?
Do you need any understanding of the constitution to know that you must not vote for a thief or a fraudster or other morally corrupt politicians? And if and when any such politicians stole your votes and rigged themselves into office, do you need any constitution to tell you that you must rise up to defend your votes and take to the streets to bring down such a government as it is done by serious and responsible citizens in other countries?

Over the years immemorial H.E Bishop Kuka have been looking for 'a reason to let people know that tomorrow will be better'
Over the years the people have been defaced and continuously loosing their rights of existence in Nigeria without basic needs for life. Hope is inconsequential without positive action neither does it grow or prosper a Nation. Faith is the substance of things hope for Heb 11:1 Faith without work is dead James 2:26
How can we preach this hope to the hungry and dying poor in the streets, ID camps whose only crime is being a Nigerian. The irony of this whole discussion is that 'if we can't have a Messiah why then do we hope?' you can't be doing same thing and expect different result. Nigeria can't work base on religious and ideological differences which the Bishop has highlighted but still choose to downplay it. Enough of this jelly coating....
