    I think it's much better to compare Dubai with cities like Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, or Singapore...Hopefully gonna see a video on this in the future.

    And what do you think about family life. Which one is more suitable for a family life. I guess Dubai while not perfect is way better than Bali.

      If you have the money, then Dubai is the place for kids, just so much to do. But be warned traffic will drive you mad and there is no feeling to the place - I mean you don't get that local connection or the stroll down the street vibe to visit or favorite coffee shop or bar that has been operated by the same family for generations. Everyone is there for a period of time, eventually you will leave.

    Hi & thanks. When u get visa in Dubai does it mean that u also get a passport? Or dubai only offers visa on ur home country passport?

    • @tuomaskiv
      @tuomaskiv  Před měsícem

      No, you don’t get a passport. Getting citizenship is always much more complicated & UAE doesn’t give out citizenships

      Technically yes but it’s more nuanced than that, I am making a video on this

    There’s a freelance visa you can get in Bali for about $1200 which allows you to stay in Bali for 6 months and includes Tax. Do more research my friend.

    Bali is very low level life , not comfortably, traffic can’t enjoy , and price in 2024 same like south of Europe

    Neither.
    I would opt for Mexico, Chile, Uruguay, or Argentina. Culturally more compatible--socially liberal, secular despite Christian/Catholic background, etc. Plus those countries are not super hot 6/12 months like (dry) Dubai or (humid) Bali, due to variety of ecosystems from subarctic to tropical, within 1 country alone.
    There's some of the old European style infrastructure, architecture, and culture as well as brand new areas with skyscraper level apartments like Dubai, and at much lower costs than all these areas except for Bali.
    Easier to meet people with similar backgrounds, but still diverse, and no need to be cloistered in a westerner bubble.

    • @Jewzi123
      @Jewzi123 Před měsícem

      in Mexico you have to pay tax the others are too cold or humid year long

    • @danmur2797
      @danmur2797 Před měsícem

      @Jewzi123 Chile has hot deserts, temperate Mediterranean climates, and subarctic. Santiago the capital is in that Mediterranean climate zone.
      Argentina, especially around Buenos Aires, is temperate climte akin to the south of France. But also has hot deserts to small sub tropical and sub artic. Uruguay like Buenos Aires.
      Mexico has relatively low taxes compared to western economies. Almost negligible.
