You have much more patience than I do. I am sorry for all of your troubles seems to me you got a lemon. Great channel, thanks for sharing your experiences...safe travels!
We had several issues with our trailer in the first year. It was frustrating. But once we got things fixed, we have been good since, thankfully. I hope the same is true for you all.
I swear!! You have had soooooo many problems with that RV. I wonder if you can have it declared a "lemon" like you can a car? I can't imagine how frustrated you must be. Your problems speak volumes about that brand. I wish you heaps of luck!!
I wonder why they stopped production of those campers! I had a leak that I chased for a couple months. I finally found it. It was inside the awning bracket where the power cable for the awning came out. The hole was unsealed. Hope you are back to enjoying being on the road!
Thank you for being insistent with Tiffin with fixing problems all the way to complete repairs per your expectations of quality. Many people would just give-up. Now, it’s what I’m going to do with ours. Tiffin claims excellence. We shouldn’t expect anything less. 👍
If they weren't already out of business, they should have been after people viewed this video. None of us can imagine what you have gone / are going through even if you owned a low-end camper, but at this price point to have years of dreams, plans and expectations shattered is reprehensible. They should have offered you a new camper some time ago.... a Jayco, maybe?? (Not my first choice either but at least you'd be camping!!) God bless you both.
Thank you for your comment. We agree with you. It has been relent difficult at times but we are holding out for these repairs to be done and that we will get to live the life we planned!
FYI guys, we just had our 2021 5th wheel toy hauler in for major repairs and replacement on the slide floors due to the cable system failing for what they initially said would be 3 to 4 days and it turned into 4 weeks and even then when we went to pick her up it was still not fixed. So we spent yet another day sitting out side the bay door until they replaced the entire cable system again. Plus a water leak because the guy who installed a new tap didn’t check to see if there was a rubber O ring in the fixture and it leaked water into the Garage washroom. We then asked for a meeting with senior management to discuss how we move forward because basically we have a complete lemon. We have had nothing but issue after issue for the last year. The result of our meeting was that the manufacturers are going to contribute a very substantial amount towards a trade in against a brand new 2023 model. The manufacturer or their parent company should do the honourable thing and either do a buy back from you or as with our manufacturer contribute a substantial amount towards a replacement rig.
@@MidlifeDetour We will let you know as to whether the new rig with the better slide system is better. Fingers crossed you guys can get something sorted out in the near future and we look forward to watching your adventures.
I am so sorry for what both of you are having to endure.....and may i say that you both are showing much patience and dignity in how you are handling this! I am assuming that Tiffin is addressing this work as warranty concerns, and hoping you are not having to endure additional costs.....have you been in touch with both your lender and insurance companies regarding your situation on your 5th wheel? It would be interesting to hear their viewpoints for your experiences and considerations.....sadly saying this, but it's probably a good thing you are filming your plight, as I wonder if this isn't helping things "improve" in solving your condition. I wish nothing but good luck for you guys in your future endeavors; I will keep posted to see what develops! God Bless you both! ~Lou
Thank you so much for all of your great input. Yes, everything we spent those days there for was all warranty work and all of it was well documented and all within the first year. We don’t have a lender and haven’t had to contact insurance due to the manufacturer warranty covering the repairs. Thank you so much for wishing us well! We are looking forward to getting back on track and doing what we originally set out to do! 👍🏼
Wow! It seems like it might be more cost effective for them to just replace your rig and include the upgrades that you made to this one! With some compensation for your time and troubles. Great example of patience guys!

I feel so bad for y'all. We only spent a week there and it felt like a month. God bless you both. I hope that you will be able to go onward to some awesome adventures very soon! Yes, time sure moves slow when at the SC! It was so nice to meet you and we hope we can cross paths again one day (and not at Redbay! Ha)! Thank you so much! 🙂
You guys are so patient. We are Tiffin Class A (2020) owners. The spouse and I spent a month and a half in Red Bay total. But it was on three separate visits to the service center. The getting up and going to a bay on successive days gets tedious and by the end, we were glad to have everything fixed, but we were ready to leave. The positives were all the RVers and Tiffin techs and after hours folks we have met along the way. What we do now is make the annual Red Bay trip a stand alone trip (we are not full time). We go there on a Saturday, visit friends over the weekend, hit the maintenance and repairs on Monday, and usually we’re out of there by the end of the week with my wallet considerably lighter. But it is a trip we enjoy and have the flexibility to schedule it at times when they aren’t as busy there. Although we named our coach “Murphy” early on, it has been relatively trouble free going on a year and a half now. Hope you get paroled soon! 😂
