My husband and I need to start eating plant based. He had a heart attack in Feb at the age of 47 -plus diabetes. I appreciate this video! I need all the ideas 💡
A plant-based lifestyle is definitely a way to go when dealing with cardiovascular problems. I wish you both the best!
Im sorry to hear that, but plant based really isn’t as complicated as one might think :) If you’re looking for more inspiration cheap lazy vegan and pick up limes are two of my favourite other plant based channels with great tasty recipes!
Praying for you guys healing through Whole Foods ♥️
@@halfbakedmunky5566 sorry to hear that. Diet is not the one and only factor in developing heart problems. With the right lifestyle you can lower your risk of getting cardiovascular problems, but never to zero. Wish you all the best in getting your health back!
@@halfbakedmunky5566 what is your life style like and diet in your 20s and 30s?
I’m new to plant based eating and was scrolling for a cookbook ..then thought I’d search CZcams. So much better than a cook book because I’m a visual learner and watching you go through the steps is so helpful! This is awesome !
I love how not only do you do plant based which is monumental, but also the low sodium and baking the egg rolls is such a game changer too ! ♥️
I love watching how you prepped veg after bringing it home. It's helpful to see how other people choose to cut (meaning what shapes and sizes, etc.) and store the veg. More vids like these, please!
I really enjoy this meal prep videos. It gives me some sort of satisfaction in the end when everything is done and neatly put away! As if I were the one doing it 😂👍🏼
I understand! I feel some pseudosatisfaction and accomplishment from participating visually in her work. Lol! I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks like that! 😂
Also put paper towel under your greens to absorb
Thank you 😊 I enjoyed seeing your process- I wish u showed more of the spring rolls once they were finished. Cut open so we could see the inside and maybe tell about their consistency & taste.
I have to say the soup....YUMMM!!!! I now feel inspired to make the rolls, so thanks for sharing that. My favorite most inspiring part of your videos is your "after" shot of the fridge. It is shall I say beautiful. All the meals and beautiful produce....again, I look forward to your videos and thank you for sharing!!
thank you so much!
I would like more of these meal prep videos. They are my favorite ones.
Thank you I will have to do more !
I love these videos and always look forward to them-please keep making them! I think I have all of the ingredients (with the exception of green onions) for spring rolls-that’s a great idea! Soup (all the kinds! 😋) are one of my very favorite foods and I eat it year round. It’s been awhile since I’ve had pea soup though…might have to make that, too. ☺️ Thank you for the inspo!
Your videos are as helpful to us, as our 'Superhero' WFPB doctor/scientist's message!
I've known for many years, what to do.
It's the 'Implementation,' that's really, really hard for most people.
Whoever preps/cooks the food, decides the health of their family's arteries.
I dream of a day when, every household has a 'Chef Chanty' in it! :D
I work with singers, musicians, dancers, entertainers, etc.
I've shown many of them, WFPB videos, but they really resonate with you, because you're a great dancer.
Please have an episode, where you get all of your dancer friends to help prep/cook for a WFPB Halloween or Christmas.
You're changing the world, one video at a time.
Thank you Girl!
Well said! I love this young woman - I think all school kids should watch a video of hers at school each week. Maybe then, future generations will be more healthy. Most people don’t know how to actually ‘DO’ a healthy diet, even though they might like to.
Chantry Marie shows the foundations which are the building blocks for us all to be healthy. She’s a treasure - and she seems so real (not pretending just for effect!) ❤
Always love watching your videos Chanty! Nice to see Colin in the background. I hope he's healing well! Take care!
Thanks so much! 💗💗

First time watching your videos and really liked it! “I messed up a little bit” happens to me too! Lol It’s still usually tastes very good. Glad you just kept going with it!
Try putting a clean tea cloth in your containers(1 on bottom and 1 on top) to absorb the extra moisture and keeps it fresh longer and less soggy
I soak my lettuce in water with a splash of acv for about 10 minutes, then I change the water and let it soak for 5 more minutes. Any bugs or germs will be completely gone. 😊
If I have produce in the fridge that's not going to last much longer, I either freeze it or make creamy veggie soups and smoothies. 😁
Clean lettuce how to
Love these videos! Gives me so many ideas on meal prepping!
I'm so glad your videos popped up again! I've been subscribed with the alarm but haven't seen your videos. You're awesome!!!
Thank you so much!!
Great video love it it has inspired me to get my fridge full of healthy ready to go meals thanks keep them coming they are Great!👍🏼🌸💗🌸
BEETS!! When I chop up those bad boys, my kitchen always looks like crime scene😲. And I always forget next morning I had beets the day before😬🚽🧻
Haha yes!
I am the same way;) first time met someone who washes each leave by itself. I thought I was the only one out there ;)
Great ideas . Special when you are New on plant base !! I wash everything I buy.
Thank you for sharing.
Love to see another veggie prepper 😂 my boyfriend thinks it’s hilarious how much time I spend washing and chopping for how fast I eat it 😜
Fellow Grocery Outlet fan here too ❤️
I really enjoyed waking this all the way thru. I'm a fast forwarding type of gurl. Thanx.
Thanks for your fun videos. You are very organized and are great at planning and prepping what you buy. I eat mostly raw and have been vegan for many years, but your cooking is creative. Farmers markets are the best!. cheers.
I loved how long this meal prep video was :))
That’s great to hear cause I was worried it was too long!
Thank You Chanty! Looks like a Healthy Yummy Week! :-)
I love to grate Raw Beets in my Salads - that's my favorite. Especially with Apple, Fresh Lime Juice & Cilantro added... OR as a part of a Greek Style Salad.
That sounds sooo good!
Awesome video, as always! And I love that TJ’s soycotash sooo much!
I enjoyed your video! I learned some new things on lettuce. I think it will last so much longer! Thanks
When I have older veg, I plan my meals around those first to use them up quickly
The soup was a good opportunity to use cabbage too.
love the veggie wash...definitely not "overkill" I'll look for that stuff in TJ's. Thanks.
Never knew a ‘veggie wash’ even exists 🇮🇪
Thanks for this meal prep video. 🌷🌻🌷 Looking forward to making a few. 😍
I love raw shredded beets on my salad :) Thanks for the video Chanty! 💕
I watch this, make my list come home and do it. Thank you for these videos.
I love fridge prep videos
This was so soothing to watch
You are one of the best on CZcams when it comes to washing veggies properly and efficiently! 💫👌🧑🍳🥬🥦🍏
Your videos are very comforting and inspiring to watch. 🌈✨🌻🧚♀💖💖💕
Thank you so much that's so nice!
The is the first video recommending of yours and I'm happy to find it! It's nice to see someone else eating WFPB but also having a couple "processed" things around like the alt cheeses and stuff. The WFPB no salt, oil etc community can be so toxic with perfectionism. I've been eating this way for 7ish years and spent a majority of it feeling guilty for eating a drop of oil or sprinkle of salt. Not anymore. I eat my WFPB foods and love them and use salt and "processed foods" occasionally without guilt.
Also I'm soooo bummed that vegan chickenless seasoning is discontinued :( I've been looking for it everytime I go to TJs. It tasted like top ramen seasoning haha
The no oil, no salt, is not for me, either. But I don't have any health issues. We are eating SO MUCH more healthy than standard western diet, good on us. No guilt necessary. TFS
Hey, Tricia!
It’s really easy to make at home:
Nutritional yeast
Turmeric
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Salt and pepper
💓
@@brownskbrittney mmmm thanks!!
Liked and Subscribed! This was really nice for me to watch. I'm just trying to make changes in my lifestyle and eat more WFPB. You gave me some great ideas! Really appreciate you taking the time to share this.
When I bring my greens in from the garden, I put cold water in the sink with a bit of white vinegar....kills the bugs and saves on water.
I cook the tofu separately and for time management I buy a couple bags of coleslaw mix add some raisins and bean sprouts. Cook down but not mushy add the tofu in the end. Wrap the egg rolls put them on a baking sheet cooking spray the tops bake flip spray and bake.
This is the first video I have seen of yours and found it really helpful! I just subscribed and look forward to more of these type of videos. Feeling inspired to do this myself!
that's amazing thank you so much!
love the meal prep videos. would be even more amazing if you showed us a couple of recipes that you have with the meal prepped stuff to give us ideas!! thank you for the vids :))
Yes! I was planning on filming that next!
Yes please more videos!
Thanks for the inspiration! I am glad you are spreading info on how ALL mushrooms are slightly poisonous raw. But please eat one daily to prevent cancer! Just not raw! If you don't want to cook it, mince it up and add to hot soup or stew, etc. Or cook a package in olive oil, and add to meals as needed. I generally do this with garlic too. I use a bit of vinegar to wash produce in a bowl of water. Your video is down to earth and REAL. We all tend to 'lose' stuff in the fridge. TFS Now I need to go cook!
yes mushrooms have amazing anti cancer effects!!
Love meal prep videos and yours are so pretty
Shredding carrots and beets to add to salads will also stay for a long time like cabbage.
yes great tip! I sometimes shred up some carrots too!
I’ve tried a couple times with carrots and they always go bad ??
@@lizzzarduh make sure to line the container with a papel towel. When I prep carrots like this, in a few days the paper is soaking wet and I change it. But the carrots are still good. Keep them away from moisture.
This makes me so happy, we eat veeerry similarly!
It looks almost like my grocery shopping this week. 🤤
Fantastic meal prep!!!
Thank you so much!
Another good one! Kinda weird how working with beets looks like veggie surgery they've got A LOT of red juice to get on everything! PS good tip on using the wash water for plants. H2O use here in Cali is going to be serious this summer, every little thing will help
Haha I was thinking that too! Thanks! It hurts me to run the water for so long
I love your idea to use a drying rack for drying your greens.
Might want to stand on end though, for better drainage.
I enjoyed this meal prep for vegan I really needed to see this to get me going. Thanks
thats awesome thanks so much!
For shredding cabbage use a potato peeler. Makes shredding so easy!
Veggie's washed throughly is actually an extremely wise. If you understand that we are still in the midst of the covid pandemic, handled your food in the healthiest way possible is necessary to control your foods cleanliness and your overall health.
this was a great video . i was shocked to see him in the back towards the end, did he help?? 😭😂 first time watching one of your videos. you did amazing !!!
Good morning happy Friday morning and I just wanted to say that your vlogs is amazing I loved your channel and you are amazing Supporter and I'm proud of you
Thank you so much!
@@Chantymarie of course
I’m dying to know how the mushy egg rolls turned out 😁 the soup looks awesome 🤩
they turned out really good I would definitely make them again! they were so crispy reheated in the air fryer!
I love collard greens. I make, what we call budin. I sautee onions with garlic add ulur collard greens with ashreded carrots or in small pieces, green beans and also add about half a cup of bread .crums. and all the herbs you wish plus salt and pepper. Finish sauteeing al, the vegetables all together and then add the bread crums. When cool, if you like, add three eggs or its equivalent , mix it all together ad add it into a greased pyrex and put it in the oven until fully cooked. I love this. I am not vegan, i just do not lime meat, so I eat it very rarely. I love vegetable budins. Best wishes and a hug from Chile, my explanation must be very confusing, I am sorry.🥰🥰🥰
Ohhh that sounds really good!
This is a healthy and delicious recipe. I’m especially happy it is plant based. Your clear presentation makes it look so easy. I appreciate you sharing with me. I also make Plant based recipe videos. I love living the plant powdered life. I hope we can learn from each other! Have a great day!
Impressive! Thank you😊
A fantastic meal prep Chanty and love 🥰it and I am a new subscriber even though I have been vegan for 6 years. Love 💞 Chanty.
thank you for subscribing!!
I have a gardening channel focus on growing your own plant foods using organic & veganic materials and practices for anyone who is interested.
Girl I had listeria the other day from greens. I now ALWAYS wash my produce extra extra well. Better safe than in the hospital again 😬
OMGGG 😯 are you ok?!
@@Chantymarie oh yes I’m doing better thank you for asking! ☺️I had over 6weeks of IV medication every 4 hours to fix me up. Stayed in the hospital for a lil while then did the IVs at home 😅 I already have a compromised immune system because of lupus so now I soak my produce in vinegar and salt water when I’m prepping. You would be surprised what comes out. Conventional AND organic. A stronger immune system probably wouldn’t have had such a strong reaction.
You have a beautiful lemon tree! They cannot grow up here in Canada because it is too cold in the winter.
Well done 👍🏻 I enjoyed it
Gotta love tjmaxx for finds like that!! Have you tried Aldi’s gold label veggie broth? It’s really good and I actually just found a low sodium version of it that they had in the aisle that’s all like random foods! I was so excited. Did you mention which nutrition course your taking? Everything you made looks sooo good. I wanna try baking egg rolls like that!
I absolutely love your refrigerator organization. I think he may have enough food there for two weeks
Ok subscribed I'm starting plant based after Thanksgiving.
Great video 👍🏾👍🏾
You're very organized!
I thoroughly enjoyed this video! It looks like we have similar recipe styles- would love to see more (:
that's awesome thank you!
Thank you for sharing! Could you share more plant based recipes? :)
My favorite way to clean my grapes is to put a good bit of baking soda in a large bowl and add vinegar enough to dissolve it. Then fill the rest up with water. I soak them for at least 20 mins, then rinse thoroughly and leave them in the colander to dry. I feel like they taste better and they last longer in the fridge. Vinegar and baking soda would probably work great on veggies as well.
That's a great idea!
What is it you're getting off the grapes with that mixture? I eat lots of them and if they last longer, I'm interested!
@@caitlinniciomhair9625 honestly I think it just takes off the surface dirt and grime. I am not sure why they seem to last longer, but try it and see what you think! Just make sure they dry all the way before you store them.
@@katiegarcia3016 thank you, will do!
Love your channel!!!! If you put a paper towel or a tea towel on top of the greens in the containers they will last longer 😊💜
Add paper towel on top to absorb the moisture.
Trader Joe’s mushroom seasoning is a hidden gem one of my all time favs!!
I knew that about Mushrooms and there used to be a mushroom farm not far from where I live and the soil from the dairy farm across the road at the milking sheds was scraped about once a month and sent to the mushroom farm to grow the mushrooms in. Yes poo and all, that's why I always wash them well. I have been told many times that you don't wash mushrooms and my answer was always ''Maybe you don't but I wash everything....''
Wow.. Its so satisfying to see you using seasoning.. My only tip to you is add it at the very end of your cooking and you'll realise you don't need to add as much to lower your salt content.. If you want.. Enjoying the vids and your calm candor
I really enjoyed your video. We also eat a lot of pea soup. The seasonings I usually use is poultry seasoning the sage in that mix works so well for some reason. I also use curry power and a few drops of liquid smoke. If you don’t have liquid smoke you should get some it is a natural ingredient and it takes your recipes to the next level.
I love using poultry seasoning too!
Great video! The Hemp Hearts should be refrigerated after opening.
I have just discover your channel and am really enjoying it! 🥰 It’s one of the the most accessible vegan recipe channels I’ve come across. I’m in the U.K. and I don’t think we have “Mrs Dash”, can you tell me what is in it? Keep up the good work 🌱😊
Great video! The FDA says use baking soda and water to wash veggies and fruits.
that works too!
I wash my mushrooms always they have so much dirt!
I like beets raw over cooked as well!!
Thanks so much for your video trying to go plant-based. I heard if you lay your veggies on a paper towel they last longer in containers, and you should stand your greens up to let the water drain off.
I really liked your video
Hi there! Great video but I do have a newbie question. What is the ‘top’ you mention as an option to the pea soup?
I love your videos:)
Thank you! 😊💗
I keep looking at the lemon tree 🙂
I love looking at it too!
I have gut dysbiosis due to excess antibiotics so needs to start eating plant based atleast for a few months...thanks so much for the meal ideas cause I really have no idea lol
New subscriber. I really need to use my veggie wash!!
thank you for subscribing!
Vinegar and water works perfect!
yes great tip!
That's actually how I wash my mushrooms. I only wash the ones I'm going to use for whatever dish. You have to wash them right before and dry them off since they absorb water.
Have you thought about getting a dehydrator or freeze drier…..with fresh food shortages pending in the future, as they are saying strawberries, rice, grains etc…etc…I’d be putting up some in vac bags or vac sealing jars…..it’s just a suggestion.
I won’t buy commercial freeze dried because of cost but I do dehydrate( I can’t afford a freeze drier) …last night I rehydrated sweet potatoes, onions and used green powder in my dinner. I also put mini peppers and fresh garlic in vinegar and keep those in the fridge….for months.
Say there’s a power outage or power glitz at your markets and you can’t shop….. having dehydrated ready to use and toss into a grain could be a handy meal to get you through. I still am dehydrating store bought canned petite tomatoes which have more flavor then some of the fresh from the store…..
I also can lentils, beans, potatoes and mixed veggies…..dehydrating some of them also…..
Last year I couldn’t find squashes and if I did they were priced high…..so during the winter when I found them on sale I dehydrated them and put in pint mason jars……using them in all my recipes to add veggies…..
I have a nice dehydrator but I’ve only used it a few times tbh! I need to use it more
@@Chantymarie l struck it good today at our Walmart…there’s only 3 grocery stores in my town….no Aldi or Trader Joe’s close.
I got a lot of marked down produce and in the dehydrator they’ll go……
We’re not crazy about cooked celery, I love it fresh so I bought two large bunches to make into celery powder and celery salt. I dehydrate mushrooms and make powder with them and add it to my lentil patties and it makes them taste meatier. Tofu was marked down and I marinate it in BBQ sauce then grill the strips and cut it up for salads.
Zucchini was $1.80 each……wow….hope mine grow this year……bought a box of mixed greens …some for my lunch the rest into the dehydrator.
My husband isn’t a veggie eater but what happens in the kitchen stays in the kitchen…🤣lol…. That’s why I dehydrate a lot.
Remember me saying I dehydrated petite canned tomatoes for salads and dressings…..they went up $ .40 a can since last week…
Thank you for your video
Try adding liquid smoke to your split peas soup.
hemp hearts are supposed to be refrigerated. i missed that on the bag at first too lol
I love raw beets so crunchy and delicious
Me too!
lettuce turnip the beet !!!
Try keeping nuts in freezer to add to shelf life, stores so much longer fresher. I wish I could be as beautifully organized as you
so true! my freezer is so packed though I can barely fit my fruits and veggies in there lol
Nice! I usually buy that amount 3x a week because I juice 3x a day. Buuut I still spend less then when I was a meat eater
Great video, thank you. Pea soup recipe looks delicious. How long do the kale and romaine last in the fridge? Do you put them in the containers totally dry? Thank you 🙏💜
thank you! the romaine lasts one week and the kale will last like 10 days! I usually use it after a week though. no they are not totally dry they are slightly wet which helps keep them crisp in the containers
Hi ! Did I miss where your larger boxes are from ?
Curious how long this lasted. We have 3 kids so it would go faster but just generally curious. Those eggrolls looked awesome.
