I have loved you guys since a little show you did around Thanksgiving of 2007 at the Beachland Tavern in Cleveland. I sat right next to CT as he drank water and read a book at the bar. I think there ended up being maybe 30 people at the show. I was right up front, wich was all of a foot away; wish I had remembered my digital camera! Then I saw you a few months later at a special 100 ticket show at the Andy Warhol Museum! Then you were on the cover of SPIN, the rest is history! I have seen you guys several times since. I am excited to travel to MN to see you with my other favorite band since 2007, Ra Ra Riot…I have seen them close to 20x! Thank you for being awesome all these years! 🥰♥️

This is the best. Definitely going to try my best to get tickets on payday for the Kansas City show at Starlight. I already planned to, but this video instantly made me want to go 10x more. Haven't had the chance to see these guys live yet, and from the discussion and chemistry, as well as the emotional maturity and introspection, the upcoming tour is shaping up to be special. Been a big VW fan since the early days, and I've really lived a lot of life alongside their albums coming out. It's crazy that after all these years, they've only released four studio LPs. Just goes to show how strong their material is. Each record has truly stood the test of time. Always exploring new sounds while retaining the core essence and spirit of who they were from the beginning. Their run of albums from the debut up to now is excellent. One of the greatest post-2000s indie bands. Their songs will be played on classic rock radio stations and included in classic alternative streaming playlists in the very near future and for decades to come. OGWAU can't get here soon enough!

Saw you guys at Lollapalooza 2013 backstage after The Cure sitting around a fire just like this and got too starstruck and was a little too inebriated and chickened out. And this was the same weekend I met Kendrick and Ellie Goulding but for some reason couldn’t approach Vampire Weekend!
This band has meant so much to me since the beginning. Seen y’all five times and going for a 6th time in Chicago this year. That Bonnaroo that got cancelled in 2020 was one of the best festival lineups ever and y’all would have killed it.

I agree that Capricorn is one of the best, if not the best Vampire record. The mixing on that song is phenomenal - sounds incredible on a good pair of speakers or headphones. Can’t wait for the release of OGWAU!!

When VW last played St. Louis, 2019, it was during the Stanley Cup Final & the Blues won for the first time...in real time during the concert. That season Laura Branigan's 1982 hit single, "Gloria" was the song the team picked as their anthem (drunk in bar story)...VW crew hard copied lyrics and sheet music and they band did their damn'dest to play the song & celebrate with the crowd when the Blues finally won (was super sweet). SO GLAD the kings are back...long live VW!
