It’s crazy to say that the Newark station on the PATH looks exactly the same today as it did in this video. They really need to modernize the PATH system extensively.
Penn Station Newark is very dated and still looks like it’s from the 1930’s. To me not exactly the most amazing looking train station, but definitely can use a facelift. The PATH rain has modern cars that were put in place around 2009/10.
Its okay, they want us to never forget by letting us know the turrists won! What I will never forget is being rudely hounded / threatened from shooting out the front window in the mid 2000s.

I wish they would have preserved some for nostalgia rides similar to what the NY Transit Museum does, but I guess the Port Authority cares the most about keeping cars up to date.
