Almost-Arctic adventure from Anchorage to Nome: Alaska Airlines Premium Class

- In this video we kick off our Alaskan flying adventure with a flight on Alaska Airlines from Anchorage to Nome, way out on the Bering Sea in northwest Alaska. (We also throw in a bonus overview of Delta's 737-800 First Class from Seattle to Anchorage at the top.) When we flew this in April just about the entire route was still white with snow, and Nome was an icy, alien-looking place. All that makes for fantastic views. And along the way we try out Alaska Airlines 737-700 and its Premium Class, the extra-legroom seats up front that turn out to be well worth the price to upgrade. So join us for this pleasant little flight full of incredible sightseeing from 30,000 feet.

Majestic Alaska always offers vistas to fill any CZcams content space and it's fee free.
Same here 1982. a native yells welcome to Nome! as i got off the plane.
Very very nice video thank you very much sir ! 👍😉
Thank you!
Fantastic. There's nothing else to say!
Great vlog as always!
Well Gabriel you certainly take some wonderful journeys and the scenery you take in is fantastic. You’re one lucky chap. Thanks again for sharing your adventures with us. 👍🛫
Thank you!
Thanks for the dreamy views and soothing music. great footage as always. What a lovely way to begin my morning with a cuppa and your nice work. As always, thanks.
Great to hear, thanks!
Excellent video, thank you, RB, Nova Scotia.
Nice video. PMDG have the "N612AS" as one of their paints for the 737-700 aircraft 👍
An excellent video log as usual Gabriel. So good to see these far away and interesting places that you are able to travel. Keep up the great work! Ian in Australia
I have flown into Anchorage and it has great beauty, but I have never seen so much white! It looked forbidding and I could almost feel a chill just watching the video. My jealousy is how you can just keep truckin’ from flight to flight. Great job!
Excellent video, scenery and commentary. Thank You
Glad you enjoyed it! And thanks for watching and commenting Tim.
beautiful scenery but i can't even imagine living anywhere that far north. takes a special breed for sure.
Have fun up North! My husband and I spent 4 years close to Nome, and about 2 years further North.
Just found your channel. So glad. Well done. Great channel and content!
Thanks so much!
What an epic video man!
Hi Gabriel. Alaska one of the last untouched frontiers that are pristine and clean. Kinda reminds me of Greenland or Iceland, too maybe ?? Thanks for the video. Cheers from Montreal.
Yes they have a similar appeal!
Man RIP to the Spirit of the Islands livery
Just thinking, wondering how many of those mountains have never been touched by humans 🤔
You should fly from nome to koyuk alaska
What does "Paglagiptigin" mean?
out of curiosity, do you film the videos only using your iphone or also some mirrorless camera ?
Usually a mix of iPhone and Sony FX3! This one was purely iPhone.
I forgot how nice Alaska Airlines hard product was! I’m not too familiar with Alaska. Do they offer free meals in first on flights long enough?
Yes, they do, and generally quite good ones, in my opinion!
Yes, agree on this!
What's with the muzzle? I thought they've stopped requiring them.
Was filmed in April.
Does Bering Air still fly out to Russia's far east anymore or did that stop after the invasion?
Where is your Airinum?🤣
Odd how they still require mask on plane
This was filmed in April.
