  • In this video we kick off our Alaskan flying adventure with a flight on Alaska Airlines from Anchorage to Nome, way out on the Bering Sea in northwest Alaska. (We also throw in a bonus overview of Delta's 737-800 First Class from Seattle to Anchorage at the top.) When we flew this in April just about the entire route was still white with snow, and Nome was an icy, alien-looking place. All that makes for fantastic views. And along the way we try out Alaska Airlines 737-700 and its Premium Class, the extra-legroom seats up front that turn out to be well worth the price to upgrade. So join us for this pleasant little flight full of incredible sightseeing from 30,000 feet.

I have flown into Anchorage and it has great beauty, but I have never seen so much white! It looked forbidding and I could almost feel a chill just watching the video. My jealousy is how you can just keep truckin’ from flight to flight. Great job!

Hi Gabriel. Alaska one of the last untouched frontiers that are pristine and clean. Kinda reminds me of Greenland or Iceland, too maybe ?? Thanks for the video. Cheers from Montreal.

I forgot how nice Alaska Airlines hard product was! I’m not too familiar with Alaska. Do they offer free meals in first on flights long enough?
