Dallara's Expertise: Composite Materials

Since 1985 the Dallara monocoque (the shell around the cockpit, also called survival cell) and many other parts of the car have been produced in composite materials: a fabric made up of carbon fiber or other synthetic reinforcement impregnated with resin. This technique is particularly suitable not only for racing cars but also for the production of small series in the automotive sector in addition to aeronautics and vehicles in general.
