    I swear to God, i have learn tmore from your channel in one day than in 8 months of watching PDR videos. I have been working on a dent for 8 months that was a double skin rear wheel arch ding around 3cms deep. Just for sh its and giggles Id go out every day and tap a bit determined to finish it eventually. I watched your slapper video today and went out abd finished it off in around an hour. I had managed to get it back into its original shape through sheer luck i think, but was having trouble with the finer details and blending it into the rest of the panel...i own pdr tools now..but nothing was quite large enough to blend the entire area..A slapper...so simple, but so effective due to the huge area the original dent had covered..was exactly what i needed.

    I had a Dealership offer one of their bays for Me to set up in , super deal ,free rent and utilities. Of course I save them thousands a month in costly body shop prices, and I get the job done, usually the first day. 🙂

    Where can you get wood slappers with a lot of radius to them? Or should i sand the edges off a paint stick myself?

      @@deadprivacy It's ok but delrin works better Esier to shape.

    Hi I have a slight crease on my vespa leg shields so obviously can get to both side, I’ve never done and panel beating before but very capable, please could you advise the best tools to use, I understand you’ve not seen this area and could forward you an image if that’s possible please. Look forward to hopefully hearing from you, by the way your videos are priceless to a layperson like myself, brilliant stuff👍

    Marty about how hard are you hitting the panel with blending tools and knockdowns?

    • @martyrunik
      @martyrunik Před 3 lety

    Hi Marty, where can I purchase a good slapper?, thanks

    • @martyrunik
      @martyrunik Před 3 lety +1

      You'll have to look at some of the PDR tool companies versions. I think a master tool is ideal but they aren't made any more.

    Thanks Marty,learned alot old school techniques,where can we buy nylon slappers🤔Do we have to make our own?..If so what what stock material do we use?

    • @TopGunPDRTraining
      @TopGunPDRTraining  Před 3 lety

      As far as I know no one makes these. You'll find many times that if you want it just right you usually have to make it yourself. I make mine out of Delrin stock. It machines better than nylon.
