Let's get real here. Every single one of these fires aren't cause by power lines as those liberal liars in California are trying to claim. The vast majority of them are caused by arsonists and the homeless, both of which are big problems in CA.
The neoliberals in CA don't want to talk about, but it's their failed policies that resulted in millions being thrown out in the streets and inability to govern which is causing this anarchy and unrest in CA. This is the real reason why CA is going up in flames.

@@amandac4675 What are you going to believe: these liberals or your own lying eyes? If you take a match and put a blowdryer on high heat setting to it, it still will never catch on fire. Yet, these Santa Ana winds are now causing fire every time in multiple locations on the same day, often hundreds of miles apart. It can't be power utilities in all cases. Someone is setting these fires because it's not natual causes (e.g., lightning, meteorites or GRBs) causing them. The prime suspects have to be arsonists or the homeless.
I truly believe that dry weather conditions are fueling these fires. Broken glass can start a fire as we know. Stop polluting the Southland. AQMD has cleaned up the air with their outstanding emission programs. No more GROSS POLLUTERS. Other U.S. states are soon to follow suit with strict smog standards. L.A. programs work. This is a great start.

@@cpope2490 So what are you going to do about the arsonists? Arson is already illegal, but all this legislation is doing nothing to stop the never-ending wildfires. This is also CA. We've always had dry weather conditions with Santa Ana winds always being here. It barely rains here. Maybe legislating more rain is your answer.

This happens every year, same time. That whole area in between LA and Ventura is prime kindling. Fire crews are literally the best in the world. They do a good job.

I figure there must be hoses at work down there, but I don't see any. So some of the focus on aircraft must be by this cameraman rather than an absence of water usage on the ground. All I have seen on the ground are dozers.

Why are they letting the pricey aircraft do all the work? when they could do so much of it on the ground with water cannon? When I search youtube for water cannon, I mostly get crowd control, not even fires!
At 2:45 , water cannon should be able to reach that spot fire from the road. they should give it a try, since it will take time to pull hoses there, during which the spot will spread.
The deck guns are good for some purposes, but you need to have a constant supply of water. A typical gun will drain the engine tank in about one minute. At 5:00, just after the helicopter drop, you can see a hoselay being extended, which is the most efficient way of knocking a fire down.
