- Update: Fire crews were battling a fast-moving blaze in the Simi Valley area. The Easy Fire exploded to nearly 1,000 acres in three hours and threatened the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, among other structures. Sky5 was overhead and had to refuel. I was alerted by a cousin about the Simi Fire. My aunt lives 5 miles from the Reagan Library; I called my praying friends from church; they were so gracious to pray with me; we prayed for the safety of the firefighters, the pilots who man the helicopters, the police, and every volunteer that stakes their lives in the frontline; If only more people would pray in faith for rain, events may change. Elijah prayed for rain (1 Kings 18:41-45);

Why do I see so little ground transported liquid applied to the fire? nearly all the liquid I see is being transported by air, while perhaps the ground crews are digging lines, unseen, but the trucks do nothing, certainly the water cannons seem idle and the trucks are not rolling to fetch more water, why is that? Why do I not see them applying liquids from trucks? only from aircraft?
The hose crew at 2:30 seems like the exception rather than the rule, too much so.
That's what I want to see at 23:30 , heavy trucks delivering lots of liquid, far more liquid than can ever be flown by aircraft. This video is showing some improvement over several others.

Dodge Charger me, too. We have a friend who lives just a street away from where the fire started and told us about it. I just found out they name these fires from the nearest road or street where they start.
