Couples Married for 0-65 Years Answer: What Do You Argue About? | Brides
1st couple is 100% naming their kid Brayden
seppukugirl or Grayson and Emma
seppukugirl 😂😂💀
Or Stella
Basically every white rich proper name there is😭
Nope they gon name him Brad
When a couple has been married longer than you’ve been alive
D. A. 😂🤣😭🙌🏾✊🏾
5.5 hours?
@@hr_mad5091 Maybe not that one marriage 😂😂😂😂
LOL
Rubarb84 of othe is opo posisi n an oooooooopooooooooooooowas a
Is nobody gonna talk about how the 5.5 hour couple should still be at their wedding having fun and not talking about arguments so early in their marriages?
Gemma C maybe they got signed for marriage first and then they’ll have a ceremony later on in the year ??
you do realize that people usally date for awhile before marriage?
They should be making baby. 😏
That's not the point.whatever man
BUT the real question is
Have you seen how beautiful they are...like omg....never seen like these couple in my life thought it would only happen in movies
I hope I could marry a woman that beautiful and sweet when I get older
The longer marriages are just the funny bickering arguments that you need in a strong relationships. Brushing teeth with your glasses on😂, love is beautiful.
Wth I read that as she said that!!?! That's the 4th time in 20 minutes!!!!
i was like thats so petty but hey if thats the worst thing in your marriage thats why you are married so long and its great...he found a keeper...so did she
Yes! You can just tell she’s been doing that for the whole like 40 years he’s known her and the conversation has come up almost every time lol
😂😂😂
When my parents start arguing, that where the headphones comes in. 🤣😂
They are married 5 hours and filming a video? Hahah
lucylou x what?
everywhere at the same time the first couple was married 5.5hrs before
Lol I think I was still ballsdeep 5 hours into my marriage
lucylou x #priorities
I was cracking up at that😂😭
Like where did they find them🤣🤣
my grandma and grandpa told me after being marry for over 68 years, only thing they ever argued about was my grandpa leaving his socks on the floor hahahahahaha
That’s men :))
God that must've been like world war 3 I would never want to see a sock on my floor, feel bad for the grandma.
lemon tea it is 😂
I've been with my husband ten years, and our main topic is him leaving his socks in the bed. WHO DOES THAT?? He does it on purpose at this point lol
Love is not about arguments, except philosophy. Some argue all the time, some never - it says nothing about if there is love or not.
“He’s very good at lying on the couch” *passive aggressive laugh*
That was the most passive aggressive laugh I've ever heard
*i think the older marriage gets, the cuter it gets!*
most of it isn't worth a damn...that last guy knows life ...I swear find a man like that and find a woman like her..two people who clearly dont sweat the small stuff have a bigger picture vision for life..
And the less gay
Ish k 😂😂😂💀
I like how the older couples that have been married for 18+ years seem the happiest.
They seem super comfortable, which i guess makes sense?
TheLastProzacNation I know right
TheLastProzacNation thats how you know they married well :)
@@itsMelonPVP Well, there's a difference between a good and a bad marriage, they're probably only married because of you
Bec the younger couples as you see a lot of them are either gay or lesbian...
Brushing teeth with glasses off is my favourite, what a thing to argue about.
It's so hilariously petty
Mine too 😂
He said it so quickly, as if they just had an argument about it before the interview.
Bene Katabua to funny😊
I don't get the husband. I always take my glasses off when bruising teeth out shaving because foam or water or fog gets on my glasses
The old couple arguing about the woman taking off her glasses while she brushes her teeth
I loved it
Their cute
😂😂😂 They surprised me tbh 🤭how they’re married in 57 and still arguing that little thing 🤷🏽♀️ for me I will divorce him if he going to arguing with me with that little things 🤨😂
@@samirahsamir6930
Lol you ain't even gonna be satisfied then.
Breaking a whole relationship cuz of one small tease xD good luck sis
I also take my glasses off when I brush my teeth....
*i read the titles as couples age 0-65 and i thought, “oh yes, gotta love the married two years olds.”*
I would say I’m not dumb but this is clear proof that I am definitely stupid lmao
Cool Dude lmaooo
Bruh that’s what I thought
The older couples are funny it’s like they’re struggling to have an argument 😂 brushing your teeth with your glasses on 😂
Brushing your teeth with your glasses on is cursed man
This was so funny i really laughed out loud..they are so cute together
shawn170204 I do not approve of the way That your emojis lined up

With the glasses off tho
married for 65 years??? Goaaalsss
I wonder if i shall live to be 65 years😅

3:18 lol they argue about her brushing her teeth without glasses. That's adorable to me.
I really wanna know why it bothers him so much lol
1:56 i feel like they own a beach house in the hamptons
Ikr
Spongebob Squarepants what really? who are they
@Spongebob Squarepants lmao sure bc he called her Harriet or something in the video but nice try thank u!
The first couple and that couple look like they own a huge house
H S Those are their in-laws.
My parents have been married for 21 years and the only thing they constantly argue about is an incident that happened over twenty years ago when my mom supposedly shut the refrigerator door in front of my dad on purpose. Mom says she didn't and can't understand why he thinks she did. Dad will more than likely go to his grave perpetually annoyed by the offense. The man acts like she drowned the dog with how serious he takes it.
This gave me a well needed laugh shout out to your dad for sticking to his guns.
Haha that reminds me of my parents! They’ve been married for 30 years this year and the one thing my mom will not let go of is that like 28 years ago my dad washed one of her favorite shirts and it shrunk, and my dad will always jab back that my mom shrunk one of his military shirts in the wash and he had to show it to his boss to get a new one and they all laughed. I don’t think either of them will ever let go of it. 😂
Ashley Chen LoL 160th like
Thank you for this. It is so genuine and wholesome, I feel like I’ll never stop thinking about it haha
Hahahaha so funny 😂 Thank you for sharing
Brushing your teeth with the glasses off ??? How do you even argue about something like that!?!
Just proves that with time you run out of things to argue about 😂😂😂
KiraLup 😂 i though the same!
I smell trouble in that relationship. If it has nothing to do with you, then it shouldn't bother you!
Ledki
Idk about that when you been married 57 years
Literally dying laughing over this one!!!!
Lmfao
The couple with the “I don’t like when you brush your teeth without your glasses on” argument are so adorable
2:01 Never heard of a couple arguing about being on time when both prefer to be early
the first couple look like they participate in the purge
This comment is gold
😂😂😂
😂😂😂
Imagine them having a gun shelf in their basement
😂😂😂
It's fascinating to me how the older they got, the more often they started admitting their own faults (like saying "it's because *I* would do this, while he/she...") whereas the younger ones often blamed it on their spouse right away and defended themselves. Isn't it so cool how the older ones started reflecting on themselves more over time & shared each other's points of view? 😃
JJP
JJPGOTINFINITE maybe it’s not because they’re older, maybe because they were that way from the beginning and it made them able to keep their marriages for that long
I think that is always partially why they are still together after so long, too.
Good point
All the couples that weren’t like that would break up before being together that long.
0:38 the way he look at her
👅😂😂
3:37 . Awwww “can we go to a concert” 😭😭
The more years they’ve been married the pettier the arguments got 😂❤️
JerseyJawn TV hahaha for real hahaha😂🤣
I thought I was the only one to see that. I am so jealous of my parents biggest "disagreement": which way the toilet paper roll should hang/facing up - according to dad it was one way according to mom the other way. You could always tell whether mom or dad was the last person to use the loo depending on which way the toilet paper faced. God I miss that man who died of cancer complications - I can't even begin to imagine how much his wife misses him.
I distinctly remember how we; mom, dad, brother, sister and me sat around a braaivleis vuur and as my mother would walk towards the house to fetch the pap or cutlery or whatever, my dad would would say: "Dink jy nie ook ek is met die mooiste vrou in die hele wêreld getroud nie?" [Don't you agree I am married to the most beautiful woman in the world?" [Perspective: I was already pushing past forty en they were obviously older] "Dink jy nie ook ek is met die mooiste vrou in die hele wêreld getroud nie?"
That's of course just one side of the toilet roll.
"My man: is wonderlik" So much so that the other ladies at the office who constantly complained about their husbands started comparing their husbands to my mothers husband, by default complaining about their lot - terrible husbands.
I remember my mother relating the conversation she finally had with her colleagues, paraphrasing "Well, if you keep on telling your husband how bad he is what do you expect?"
My mom and dad's love story is one of the most realistic love stories is know - Realistic because no one had to be dramatic, make an ungodly proposal on a knee (dad helped mom to make her wedding dress - no fancy so called "romantic" smalch, drink poison or cry all the way for me argentina) they just love each other.
The other great love story is that of my grand parents who met at my granddad's homecoming party after world war II, grand father proposed that same night to grand mother and, and well there is a reason one of seventeen grand children can now tell the story, but more of that later.
The best one is how children should be brought up! Something worth arguing over.
Well, I don't want my kids to be brainwashed...well, our kids. Lmao. This may lead to an ugly divorce 🙈
Yes! I loved that part. I wonder what their backgroundstories are...
More like something that should’ve been discussed before marriage/ conceiving
Agreed. My fiance and I don't have kids yet and we talk ALL the time about how we want to raise our offspring. Better to discuss now than have the "surprising" conversation once the offspring are here. I don't know why more couples don't do that. It's very important
Yeah right? I'd be super interested to hear their different perspectives 😩
I LOVE 4:05 how the couples body language is the same ❤️

You don’t brush your teeth with glasses on. At least I don’t, the tooth paste foam can get all over the glasses while brushing your teeth.
I typically don't brush my teeth with my glasses on. However my boyfriend does because he's way more blind than me. We don't argue about that though.
I take my glasses off before I brush my teeth because I always wash my face right after. Makes no sense to leave them on.

They’re probably only legally married with a certificate. Maybe they’re having a ceremony later down in the road. At first I thought the same thing
Last week I went to a friend's wedding. A few hours later, my bf and I hangout with the newlyweds at the dog park, then went to get some beers.
I assume Brides reached out to them prior to their wedding& asked for the interview same day
Considering it was one question I doubt it took that long to film hah
My fiance and I have been together for a very long time. If I were asked to do a cute short video like this on my wedding day I would totally do it. It would not take away from my day or my relationship at all it will be fun. And I would love to be a part of this video.
These people aged well. What water they drinking?
My mom is 74 and looks more like she's 54. Nobody ever believes her when she tells them her age. It's beautiful to see that love is still strong and their are men and women out their willing to commit to stay with each other for a long time.
Having our 1st child, I can relate with the last couple... I love to see they are still together after 65yrs so that tells me it works out in the end. I'm sure if our main goals is to raise our children with love and support, as well as meeting half way or compromising on what we can, I'm sure it will work out and I loved seeing this video. I also loved seeing my middle school classmate, Terri (married 2yrs) on this video :) she's the cutest!
Moral of the story: most people are not compatible yet they've made it work. BUT if you truly want a happy healthy long term relationship find someone you are most compatible with!
Diana Prather i also thing compatible or not relationships are something you work to make they dont just happen perfectly like in movies
People are compatible when they can effortlessly accept each other the way they are...sometimes those things make a person giggle but the same person will get upset if another individual does the same thing 🤔
@@twincherry4958 It's never effortless. A healthy relationship is between two people who constantly want to evolve as humans and that means always making efforts inside and outside of the relationship.
What I think defines compatibility is that you have an agreement about your goals and you can compromise within the limits of both of you.
Exactly
I dont think compability has something to do with this. But how each other keeps even with the arguments and are flexible with each other.

Last couples statement holds true - most of those small things people argue about are not worth a damn.
Me and my husband argue about arguing. I call it debating and he calls it me wanting to win an argument. He always closes off, but I continue. Then we both get upset.
The people who continue to argue for the sake of winning are the worst.
Citlali Rodriguez no hablo ingles
Lmao I relate so much
Sometimes there truly is someone who’s right and someone who’s wrong. Things that are about opinion aren’t in this category. But some other things that are based mostly or all in facts, are indeed winnable arguments and the problem is some people like the boyfriend in this story, is too stubborn or indignant to admit they’re ever wrong and doesn’t wanna debate bcuz they know they’ll look wrong, so they just close off and stay in their idiocy. This is not good as it hurts the couple and their ability to succeed in life

LOVE IS LIFE PEOPLE, money and all the stuff might be something that matters in this Society but man.... LOVE IS THE ANSWER
lakabra goatklaw I agree but you sound like a hippie 😂😂
That was so 1980s........actually love isnt the answer to anything anymore.....there are people falling in love to someone without her falling in love with him ....you see, love has only two choices.....yes and no.....
Nope, money is
You have it all backwards.. love is only important in society. You don’t need love to produce offsprings, you don’t need love to live, you don’t need it for your body to go through homeostasis and daily hormones. Love is something people want because they see others with it, however you NEED currency to live.
Marcus Wrack love in all ways, not only from human to human xd it can be love to music, to landscapes, to laugh, to watch good films, to see others happy... Love to money xd
Been binging deadly women and needed a brighter side of love, came to the right place.
Nice to hear no one's killed anyone because of the arguments
I especially love hearing the couples answers married for 60+ years. So cute.
These videos make me believe in true love
I feel like a number of their arguments stem from emotional labour and the fact that the women are carrying the weight of it. For the women who are "controlling" or "managing" or seem to do things better, its because they've been carrying out emotional labour since childhood whereas men often see it as optional. So yes, she will be annoyed when she has to be the one to 1) ask him to do something instead of him noticing and 2) re-do it herself because they didn't complete it at a functional/adult level (e.g. not noticing the dishes need to be done so being asked to do it but doesn't even scrape the food off first)
Sadly Men always act like that unless a parent showed them real responsibly. Adult men need a mother still it seems and being lazy
@Sasukerox - I feel that a lot of women who dictate to men how to do basic household chores are those who get a kick out of micromanaging. They get a thrill in exerting power in a relationship because the man is often burdened with making most of the money in the relationship and they see this as relinquishing that power. It's interesting because women expect and search for partners who will entertain the idea of providing most of the means in a relationship and someone who is stoic while seeking ways to undermine the partner that they selected (e.g controlling what they do in the household). So, yes, the man will be annoyed that the woman is controlling and attempts to hoist diametrically opposed desires on the man.
I'm sure there are women out there who have the personality type of wanting to micromanage everyone and everything, of course. But aside from those particular personalities, your idea of the gf/wife undermining the bf/husband because of money reasons is hollow and archaic. Millennial women, such as myself, are working full time jobs alongside our men and we are being paid enough to be self-sufficient. The issue of emotional labour becoming more prominent these days is because Today's woman is tired of juggling a career and then coming home to a guy who does not notice or appreciate or actively participate in the unseen labour that is necessary in sustaining social relationships + a functional family. This is not to point all the fingers at men; emotional labour starts in childhood and it has been seen as girl's work to effortlessly care about other people when a) it is not effortless and b) boys should and do care about other people, too.
sasukerox that was perfectly said, thank you.
sasukerox I would add domestic labour into that too, I think most millennial women also do more than their share of household work such as cooking and cleaning.
This video oddly gave me closure of my last relationship. We argued a lot and some of it were things in this video. I was made to feel like arguing about things was destroying the relationship where in my head i always tried to find the humour in it. Looking back i see that my ex was just unable to see from any other perspective than her own which ultimately led to the end. Just shows me that people can argue and still live and love each other for 65 years lol. She just wasn't the one

Seeing the couples that have been married 40+ years that have what My husband I think are bad arguments is really refreshing. Gives me a lot of hope lol. It really is all about how the two of you handle those situations.
I advise people a lot with life and relationships and I try to tell people, relationships can make it if you're different, if you're similar and a lot of combinations in between. Relationships end when we end them. A long relationship only requires that both people stay... Time does the rest.
I mean this as to say, a lot of people feel like a happy relationship automatically means that it will be long lasting with two people that are nuts about each other, and vice versa. But it's more like writing a book, all it takes to complete it is that you don't stop writing it until it's done, if you stopped it then obviously you have not completed the book. Being "Healthy and happy" is not the same, nor is it guaranteed with a long relationship. The Good The Bad and everything in between is up to whatever people do with the time we stay together in relationships.
A healthy relationship takes that you respect each other, work on things or maintain it really, communicate, grow, compromise, accept each other, and much more.
These couples prove that working on things does not always mean that whatever you worked on magically disappears and when it doesn't disappear you should leave. We're not all going to think exactly alike. Different formulas work for different relationships. But if you want it, work at it. We shouldn't focus on "when should we break up" so much.
Hopefully I articulated that to where others could understand clearly lol

I love these old couples.. They're like too close to each other..., makes me smile 😆
