  • @Real_AnimA

    You got to be real quick watching those claps though, your reaction has to be lightning fast, because when your opponent claps, you literally have a split second process what you going to do, even worse if they don't clap, because then you are waiting for the clap, and probably will botch it if you wait to long

    • @pillcosby3894
      @pillcosby3894 Před měsícem +1

      I’ve heard wrestlers just kinda throw themselves at their opponent if they don’t know what to do

    • @adamblackedition5529
      @adamblackedition5529 Před měsícem

      this isnt even true, the hand claps are not telling them to counter or not counter, they wrestler already knows what hes doing because the match was rehearsed previously, and usually before a slam, they will just whisper into the ear before they throw them to the ropes.... thats how its ACTUALLY done. go have a look at all randy's matches right now and see how many times he slaps and how many times he doesn't, and see what the opponent does..

    • @Real_AnimA
      @Real_AnimA Před měsícem

      @adamblackedition5529 Yeah I was thinking that too. The wretlers should already know whether to dodge or not from what they practiced, I knew it sounded strange, because again, you literally have a split second to react

    • @adamblackedition5529
      @adamblackedition5529 Před měsícem

      @@Real_AnimA yeah just watch out for it next time... if the opponent is going to a full move they need to know if its getting dodge or not... look for when roman does his spear, if people are not dodging it, then he will do a full change and spear, if he knows they are going to dodge or counter, he wont run full speed, he will run just enough so he can get kicked in the stomach and counted....

    • @hermonymusofsparta
      @hermonymusofsparta Před měsícem

      @@adamblackedition5529 Some matches are rehearsed, but historically most were called in the ring. In either case a signal is sometimes necessary to indicate preparation for taking the move, even if you rehearsed it.

    1:34 that's the great thing about wrestling will professional entertainment wrestling is that you're doing a move but more than likely you're going to hurt yourself more than your opponent but you make it look really good now in MMA you're just trying to hurt your opponent in wrestling you're not trying to hurry your opponent you're just making it look really good. But when I was in elementary school I used to do backyard wrestling I'm telling you getting hit with a chair that shit kind of hurts I would rather get hit in the head with a chair than my back though I hated that I can take hits to the Head but getting hit where your shoulder blades are with a chair that sucks

    Sure this requires a lot of training, to have this imprinted in your behavior. There is no way to think about that quick enough in intense situation, it got to be near automatic. And also this helps improvised branching of matches, when script got failed.

    Clap is the easiest way to say the slam might look and feel real but no hard feelings just getting us paid the best amount
    Most pro wrestlers are like me they wouldn't have you do it if they won't themselves granted most are not willing to tazer fight or even practice knife fighting with a hunk of metal that could still cut you
    I lost count of my serious scars and cuts dislocations and muscle bruises I still don't understand why I enjoy physical pain yet can't quite handle emotional pain
