Great channel man and congrats on your big wins. Funny you mentioned indexed funds. After the last crypto crash in 2017/18 I stopped accumulating crypto I started acquiring chunks of indexed funds instead. They've done well by ETF standards with gains of 20-30% since then but if I'd had conviction as you discussed and used those chunks to back the cryto projects I'd believed in I would have done much better. Lessons learned.
I don't want to hate on index funds. I think they are fantastic and will probably move some of this money over to index funds in the next year or so to just squirrel away some "safe" investments. I just haven't been investing in then in a little while because I see so many opportunities with crypto right now and I want to have money ready to take advantage. 20-30% is still awesome! Can you explain how you initially invested and best way to get started?
When I started regularly buying Bitcoin, I just did weekly purchases on auto. I use River (link in description) and setup a Bitcoin buy every Monday. That way I never had to think about it. Great way to start!

Hi Andy, really interesting video. Do you have any concerns about your ability to liquidate all that flux if you needed FIAT urgently? It’s seems like a huge chunk of your net worth to be tied up in one coin. Appreciate the incentives to stay in are so great but is there any concern that if the platform doesn’t win the race to become the decentralised equivalent of AWS, that demand for the coin will be driven only by new nodes and speculators? Stiff competition in that space from Filecoin and Arweave and obviously ICP so not gonna be easy to break through. I’m very much a newbie in this space but seriously considering running a flux node. Just have concerns about long term demand for the native token and the possible lack of liquidity if/when I wanted to sell. Anyway, thanks again. Keep up the great work.
I'm not worried about competition (and I talk about this with the Flux Co-Founder in my latest video) because the accessible market of the internet and web 3 is so massive and only growing. I also don't really view the projects you mentioned as competition. They can all succeed, but I also think Flux has more to offer. All that aside, I am also not worried about liquidity. With the Binance listing, volume/liquidity is through the roof. With more exchanges and more adoption that will continue to be the case. The market could absorb all my Flux no problem.

How are you doing with Helium and your new antenna sir?
Hey John, hopefully I'll put out an update soon. I turned off the bobcat when I got my new MNTD hotspot to try it out at my same location. I hooked up the new antenna setup to the MNTD. But honestly the HNT network has been buggy/slow lately and the hotspot is taking forever to update... but I THINK it's doing better than it was? Might be too early to tell.

Would you recommend DCA int the blue chips (bit, eth, Cardano, solana) or should you try to find some low cap gems right now?
Of those I own mostly BTC, some ETH, a tiny amount of ADA and zero SOL. I have build my portfolio on BTC with a sprinkling of ETH and then the rest into more speculative coins (not in the top 50). That's just my strategy. No wrong way to go about it. Just whatever works for you.
@@YourFriendAndy thanks for getting back to me, I feel that for new investors the best move to make the biggest gains is to find the newer projects with great potential, I personally like verasity but maybe I’m wrong, in the bear market it could be rewarding to invest in the blue chips like bit and ethereum during the bear as well though
I prefer massive volatility. DCA and wait for Maddie returns.

I bought my GPU rigs piece by piece and put them together. It's just computer parts. The catch right now is not overpaying like crazy.

Hey Julian! Thanks for watching. Flux is more expensive but I think it can still go up on price a lot. Do your own research though. Not investing advice! They will likely have a smaller node in the future so the initial investment isn’t as much.

I love how people talk like everyone can do this. 96k in 4 years is literally half my salary. Id be lucky to be able to put in 16k in 4 years.
What’s stopping you from making more money? Identify it and adjust accordingly.
Did you put in $16k in the past 4years? Even that could be a substantial amount of money. I saw loads of people putting WAY more in than me. It didn't bother me. I just knew that if I was trying my best to maximize what I was putting in, it would pay off one day. You can invest, no matter what level you're at.
I haven't. I sadly just got wise to the future of web3 and the digital world. I have only started investing and put my first 1k in this last month. (I took a leap of faith knowing were likely headed to the bull run and put about 4x what I can afford on a monthly dollar cost average going forward.

Should we have a business account for each business we have even if we have two businesses under one LLC ?
I have a trucking / dispatching business and a real estate wholesale company. They basically will use same EIN
If you have multiple businesses under the same EIN, you might want to use DBAs to keep them separate and then use separate accounts. Otherwise the accounting can get messy. Relay supports multiple businesses per account: czcams.com/video/RyZnwjOBL08/video.html

Have put all of my hard saving (about 100k) into flux since it went from 1.9 to abt 1.2 and now alrdy doubled up on this one. What they doing is absolutely changing the entire crypto space. Waiting for it to change my life like it has changed for urs...i know that day's gonna come. Becoz I have done my own research
I wish you all the best! I think Flux is going places. That said, make a plan for your money. Don't risk everything you have without a plan for when you are going to sell some, take profit, etc. Crypto is risky!
I agree with you sir. I am 100% sold out on becoming completely educated about Bitcoin and each crypto project as I am successful with cryptocurrencies every day. I am committed to making myself a successful multi millionaire investor for my family. I deserve to be successful financially in every way possible even with crypto and more. No ego is necessary. I appreciate your honesty and integrity with your words. I read about different projects every day when other people are busy watching the news 📰!! I’m going all in.
How did you do it? What crypto invest in? What about if I have $10k to invest now? What would you recommend to make potential millionaire?
Like I say in the video, when I started crypto investing, I setup auto-investments in Bitcoin every week. I put 80% of my money into BTC and the rest into other more speculative projects. Those other projects (with a few exceptions) were not on the top 50 or even top 100 crypto list. I was looking for a bunch of upside. The stuff in the top 50 can definitely have a lot of upside, but I was looking for 10,000X type moves. I am going to do a video in the near future about how I choose those types of projects and the pros and cons of doing this strategy. Hope that helps!

They aren't going to be fun! One of the only constellations is that the vast majority of my holdings are over a year old, so I would be paying long-term cap gains, not short term. Not looking forward to it.

Thanks for watching... and I think it aged super well! The advice is still very relevant today. One mention of Celsius doesn't make this not age well. I have made several Celsius and Voyager videos warning people about them and telling folks I took my money off in the past few months. I've always held most of my crypto in wallets I control and only ever had a small fraction in places that I don't. Which I agree with you is good advice.

I wonder how “rich” you are now.
I’m not sure I’d consider myself all that rich in the first place. But my portfolio is down 50% right now like the crypto market. I really wonder about people who show up when things are bad in the market just to mention that I must have less money or I must not not be a millionaire anymore. Very questionable motivation.
Thanks. Now thieves can try to sim card swap you and port your phone over to them, so they can steal your Bitcoin. No offense, but maybe it's safer to not advertise how much Bitcoin or other crypto's that you own.
I appreciate it, but that's not possible. It's all in offline wallets that are multi-sig. That means you need multiple wallets to control my coins. These wallets are in multiple secured locations. I have less than 10% of my crypto online. And what is online is not attached to 2FA that is SMS secured. AND I use Efani to prevent sim swapping (I did a video on this). I am always adding new layers of robustness to my crypto portfolio. Thanks for watching!
How much $$$ on average do you invest weekly DCAing? Right now I'm only doing like $50 a week, but I'm ready to step it up a bit.
I was doing $250 a week for a while and scaled up to $1,000 a week. I also did manual purchases when I had bigger influxes of money.
