If i would be President or PM of any country. I will definitely call these women every year for Grand Islamic convention for muslim women n men to learn from them. They are where education is and where heart is calm. They know what they do and say. And the chemistry between them is a great chemistry. They live Islam ,they talk islam and they know what they say . Love it

Please hold another conference addressing the topic asked about at 30:00! It is so important and sometimes guidance online relating to that topic are delivered in such a way that makes women afraid to get married (speaking from personal experience) I would love to hear the insights from these female scholars about how to apply qawam and where the limits lie. Dr Haifa you promised 😂❤

Y’all should have shared the rights women have for some of these:
Women have the right to put on their nikkah contract he does not have another wife. If he doesn’t fear Allah and breaks it, she can anull the marriage and leave.
Obeying the husband is not beyond ones capacity, and it is willful compliance. There is a DIFFERENCE OF OPINION of what she has to obey him in.

So, I felt odd when one of the speakers talked about privilege and the Black communities, 53:29; "the reason the non-black communities have the privileges is because of the sacrifices, and pain of the African-American communities." Just as much as I appreciate the panel and the knowledge, I feel that this comment goes deeper, and almost feels unreal to be viewed as a backbone and enduring for people but not for 'the faith, and Allah' to which I ascribe to- and not because of other (people). The micro-racism and aggression felt when in a 'religious' environment can be so great, that would make one not want to be viewed or seen as enduring enormous pressure and hurt for that or who wouldn't give respectful recognition. And then you or I would have to raise arguments and discussions on this when what we owe one another is respect, and I guess cordiality.
I respect history and all, but whoever wants to feel privileged whether they are part of an oppressed group historically or not can go ahead, but beware of linking inequality and inequity of this to the present moment- or that the descendants of the historically oppressed group are enduring residual effects of historical events and for the sake or benefit of others who might or might not see this. I pray Allah makes it easy for everyone!

as far as the polgamy goes, i could never do it, but the woman choose it, its not forced so people getting mad over it, and insulting or making fun, or the non-believers who insult islam for it, its not required every man has more than 1 wife and woman dont have to marry a man who is already married, and Dr.zakir naiker is great and by islamic law in your marriage contract a woman can say , one of her stipulations is she is the only wife .

Salamalaykum. This conversation is so beautiful. Thank you for your teachings. I don’t often hear teachings and guidance that factors in a family which has multiple wives and the love and cooperation between women to achieve their goals and fulfill their Islamic duties. Especially in West African culture, our family structures can allow for solution as well. Where does this advice appear in the Quran?
