Cool video, but I really don't understand how at 1:56, he got 2 loop cuts, when the Loop Cut and Slide says only 1 loop cut.

@@architecturetopics Bevel does not create 2 loop cuts, though. That's the part that I don't understand :(

@@soma78 yeah we add a cut with control R then hit control B to make the cut into 2, it's just faster to select an area in the middle using this rather than adding 2 cuts then scale them on the axis.
try it on the default cube to get the feeling of it.

@@architecturetopics after a bit of fiddling, yeah, I did manage to figure it out, but it wasn't completely clear from your explanation (sorry). This is what worked for me, in the end :
CTRL + R (create a single loopcut - in the middle of the face)
CTRL + B (bevel to turn the single loopcut into two symetical loopcuts)
E to extrude. press Esc to cancel
ALT + S (shrink/ fatten to do the inner extrustion)
