- Meet the new Aprilia Dorsoduro 900: new electronic engine management - borrowed from the RSV4 superbike - , new ride-by-wire throttle which offers smooth riding, three riding modes, switchable traction control, revamped 900 cc engine. This is a fun machine! So we took it out for a hooligan ride on track to see how it rides, slides and wheelies.

this is real bike review not lie the others do "old man" review where they just ride home and talk how good bike is
sharp and super fast steering
🤙fun bike 🤙
Nice review man !
Had the 750 that was totaled when some idiot cut me off. After my recovery I began looking for deals and just got one for $6500 out the door during the dealers end of season sale. Couldn’t pass up and figured I loved my Dorsoduro 750 so why not just get another. Also, it is very unique in my area. I probably have the only one in Pittsburgh and break necks wherever I go. Everybody is always like what is that?!?!
I'll take the 750 over the 900. Weight savings is huge and I won't miss the power (I, fortunately, have an XR for that).
m mill its like 40lbs and once you change the exhaust it's more like 20. Plus, it has the semi dry clutch, improved internals, and traction control. If you have the 750 not much of an upgrade but if you don't I'd get the 900
Was kind of hoping for a race track test (per the title) here - I knew the specs already.
great review guys , keep up the good work , cheers
Bella la moto 🏍
Very good coverage of the bike overall. You did skim over the lack of Brembos tho 👍👍
Are Brembos a requirement for a good bike? In my opinion, brakes are brakes as long as they meet the technical specs for good brakes - large braking surface, large rotors with good heat dissipation, etc...
@@a2xd94 Brakes are made in the brembo factory for aprilia
Din ce oras esti? In Romania
Yup, front light is terrible indeed. Same issue I have with the Shiver.
Wow your wheelies are *sketchy*
Hey mate how do you turn off the traction control on the 900 model?
Don't remember. I think you should use the on/off red button or swipe through the menu.
How is he pulling wheelies that easy. I have a 750 on 15 plate and that's very hard to lift.....
Super video, cine sunt reprezentantii Aprilia in Romania?
Multumim! The Bike Hub - Bucuresti, Calea 13 Septembrie. Importator Piaggio Group
Finally ! I am really thinking of buying this bike as a daily fun commuter. Will the small tank and Greece's heat be an obstacle? What do you think ?
You should get a 180-200 km range out of the fuel tank so, why not? Not as comfortable as a standard naked bike for touring but better than a single and enough fun to ride. What other choices are you considering?
First of all, thank you for your interest. Second, I am considering 690 duke 2018 new and hypermotard 939 2016 used.
So I have ridden the 701 and has an amazing motor. Nimble, light, too much character, but a totally uncomfortable seat. Also its dash is a joke. From my point of view is a hardcore supermoto. On the other hand the duke 690 which might be more comfortable and better equipped, is not available for test ride. It is very hard for me to buy a bike without even riding it. Of course I know that it has been replaced by the 790, so it will be a 9k euro discontinued bike. I have also ridden the hyper. It is a weapon with lots of power and I found the seat acceptable, but it is expensive and I won’t bother buying it new. The dash is outdated and below average for its price. The bike needs first gear for filtering at low speeds and I believe that it will crumble apart during summer season.
@@kpanagos I think that 690 Duke or 790duke are the best options for you as commuter and weekend riding. 701 is really the ultimate bike (I own mine last 3 years, and I had 690enduro before), it's pretty tall, pretty nimble, more ultimate in corners, it eats oil, rubber and chains just on a breakfast, it's 100% hooligan. I think that 790 is the best for your needs. Dorsa is quite good too, but you will need more skills in corners. If it's your first bike I'd rather recommend 790 or 690duke, and I'm more on 790 side.

I drove my 1200 dd to Crete... Switzerland-Ancona-Patras... Piraeus-Heraklion... and spent about 8 Months living in Sissi near Vrachasi...
The tank is small but manageable... of my three Aprilias... the Dorsodura was my favorite! Never a problem with the heat or cold.
Why first video deleted
It had an error. We noticed it just after publishing.
So you taped over all of the BMW branding on the suit except for the collar. That's strange. Were the Aprilia marketing folks complaining about there being too many bmw logos? :D
You have a keen eye for details. I must come up with a better solution when riding the RSV-4. :D Actually, it's my racing suit. I have an S1000RR for the racetrack and the logos are huge. Thanks for watching.
台灣買的到嗎?😮
The 750 was a total letdown... now 900.....wonder how it rides
Why is the 750 a let down?
Cand esti filmat cu soarele in fata, foloseste o pereche de ochelari de soare. In tot video-ul apari cu ochii inchisi.
sex machine!
I got one and i love him
Fun fun fun
Il cam strange costumul la Coaie..🙂
ok cool but why did you have to rape that bike on the video? i hope the owner/dealer dont watch it..

learn to wheelie ?
too heavy, too expensive, and way too underpowered
Oso 11 Have you ridden one then?
I own one. And statisically, he's not wrong.
Don't regret selling my Z1000 for it one bit though. It's hilarious.
@Tim Brandt It's 900 cc so yes it is under powered. It's in the same class as the KTM 990 (114hp) and the hypermotard (112 hp)
