    I think that with all due considerations that I would use the Tamiya Pearl white over Tamiya White Primer. Thank you for sharing your testing with us. I found it to be very interesting. This content is valuable to a project that I am planning to do very soon. The project is the Revell Beatnik Bandit that I have wanted to build for years.

    I was told by guys that do custom painting on real cars to use a white base for white pearls. I'm painting the roof of a 1960 Desoto kit pearl while over a candy Ruby body. I even tried pearl white craft paint shot through an airbrush, but liked the Tamiya better.
