i love how this man towers over everyone he's like a football zeus that lets you into football heaven
Pokemon
Dude is like 6’9” and 350 lbs!! I had no idea that he’s that massive!!
And he never played. What a cool job a day what an honor. He is the sweetest giant, and does a great job.
6 feet 10 inches tall. He was actually a pro-basketball player, didn't play football professionally.
@@christhayil8354 no shit, I didn't realize that. That kinda makes it cooler i think. Je got to be part of 2 sports at the professional level. Thanks
Knock Knock:
“We’ve been trying to reach you about your car’s extended warranty...”
I popped harder than I should have at this...
1 thumbs up for everybody who's tired of getting those calls everyday 😆🤣
99th like
You’re so wrong for this one 💀🤣😂 I love it!!
Why is Jerry Jones in the HOF? He never won nothing but money. The HOF has been reduced to bullshit. They talk all this crap about defending the shield and are determined to put the actual greats names up next to nice guys and their friends. If im a first ballad Hall of famer dont you dare put my name in between Jerry Jones and John Riggins. This aint the Espys
You can tell, when David Baker knocks on that door, he's as happy, he's as excited as the men receiving that knock... This never gets old for me, watching these
Terry Bradshaws reaction for Jimmy Johnson gets me every time. Dude is so excited for his friend.
Bradshaw is the man
I agree!! Coach Johnsons is my favorite til this day..I was actually watching the games live that day when it happened. Well deserved Coach
Aikman's reaction watching it is the best part of it all. pure joy for his friend.
That’s what I was thinking too. That’s the support level we all deserve
Has to be the coolest job ever
I couldn’t do it.. I’m a cryer. I would a wreck after each one.
I believe he also has to call the finalists who didn’t make it and break that news. I can only imagine what the conversation with Terrell Owens was like.
He’s also the president of the Hall of Fame😂
Seriously!
jsdzx right?? I would be a mumbling fool.
Baker: *knock knock knock*
Nathan peterman: "took you long enough"
The only knock he is getting is from his neighbors bytching about his dirty-ass lawn.
@@samw.8734 bruh😂😂
@@samw.8734 YOOO SAM. CHILLL NATHAN PETERMAN THE 🐐 BRUH!!! WAY BETTER THAN BREES BRADY RODGERS TOGETHER !!
Yeah right! Like that'll ever happen!

Randy Moss hit me right in the feels, well deserved
As a 9 year old in Minnesota in 1998-99 there was no bigger idol.
Not bad for a WV boy!
greatest to ever do it
im 32 years old and too this day hes still my favorite wide receiver ever. he was my hero when i was young
That's my GOAT, baby.
I was actually getting tears in my eyes as I watched this. I would like to take a moment to thank Brett Favre for snapping me back to reality.
More than ever Fuck Brett Favre
Stinky finger bandit stole your emotions
@@michaeln8216 Time really gives a new perspective right. 😂
lool this is the funniest comment ever. Cuz i had the same exact experience. Randy Moss made me tear up, then Favre dried those tears.
Favre was my favorite quarterback of all time he was THE MAN
The trickery with the arm WAS SOMETHING that was original the BEST CANNON arm coined the term
Rodgers nor Mahomes would have NOT HAD that if not for Favre transcending n revolutionizes the quarterback position
*knock knock
Player: omg finally
*family cries and hugs
*knock knock knock
“House keeping!”
LMFAO
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Hmm, need more lemon pledge
Bruh... 😂
This is the best comment lol
I love that moss answered in a white t. that's why he's the best.
steve meters fr though
Colin Sheehan no his point was that most people wear a nice suit or sweater in this situation, but moss is as casual as can be which totally fits his character. There was no judgement
Colin Sheehan ahhh I see but I don’t think he meant it that literally but hey who knows, have a good one
$fraught ca$h homie
the best?????? have you ever heard of Jerry Rice? lol
Randy Moss's reaction is so genuine, it gets me every time
Bro Steve Hutchinson’s reaction gets me every time.
the best
I've noticed something binge watching these. David Baker, while embracing the inductees and delivering his speech, has the awareness and compassion to make sure the door stays open. So that the family is involved in the moment as well, as they should be. Major respect for this man on that alone.
99 awareness
@@joshselkovits466 yessir best card in mut
They have a whole pre-production to these, they want the family reaction on camera
That, and they don't want to lock the poor guy out of his own room.
He creeps me out
I think the most shocking information I've ever learned, is that David Baker is not a former NFL football player.
Another one: Roger Goodell isn´t either.
Another one: David Baker is twice the size of Goodell so theres no comparison there
I know right?!
I know right! Doesn't he look like a former lineman 😂
@@bowlchamps37 Fairly obvious given how big of a pussy he is
Brett Favre was like "Yeah, I figured as much."
He didn't even bother to wear his good Wranglers.
"This is the beginning of your journey, not the end of your football career."
Love that!
Brett Favre was like "bro, my beer is gettin' cold in here..."
lol fr players like him brady and manning know they top 20 all time so they expect it lmao
Julian Isaac isn’t that a good thing?
Luke Stark exactly who wants warm beer
found the brit
Brett Favre is like a badass grandpa
Love David Baker, I hope he’s the guy that stands at the pearly gates and welcomes us home.
That would be epic
For a man, he has the best smile ever.
As a Jets fan, Kevin Mawae is one of the few things of which we're proud. What an amazing center.
How good was the Jimmy Johnson one! The guys were pumped for him - amazing
As. Cowboys fan, that broke me! No one deserves it more!
When randy started crying i started crying like i got in 🤣 Mr Baker has a way of saying it. It just sounds like you have arrived at last. Very beautiful.
I'm a Pats fan Law and Moss had my eyes watering LoL
Randy Moss HOF buss should have been taking off his pants and mooning the crowd.
@@jamiashoffler5426 Absolutely deserved! He gave so many fans amazing memories
I teared up for Moss, Hutch and Morton.
They know that he was on the prowl to do the knocks. They know what that knock means. Immortality
Baker is like the Anti-Death. You want him to knock on that door.
I always love his face when he hears the people cheering in the room.
EVERY time David Baker starts his damn speech I get teary eyed it never fails.
He's like an even cooler John quinones
😂
With a bigger face.
🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣
Oh, thanks, Richie, I just peed my pants!!!
I love the reactions from Hutchinson and Mawae. As offense lineman, they’re often overlooked, so knowing that they’re getting enshrined in the HOF despite playing a relatively unappreciated position makes it so much sweeter
Two of the best. You gotta be that good on the line to make it, and they sure as hell were.
Offensive lineman get no respect they do all the heavy work
@@alanconnelly3921 they get respect face2face bc no one bitches at them^^ but they get far too less recognition and they decide games yes
Football is won in the trenches
There is nothing more admirable than the HOF Lineman. Only the baddest of badasses can reach that mountain
This man has brought so many of our strongest most athletic men to tears. What an awesome job!
Yes indeed!
these men put every single ounce of their life into the sport. Amazing scenes, incredible emotions
4 words that change a mans life
“Welcome to Canton Ohio”
Tbh
Only in this context. Trust me I live less than a mile from the hall.
But they are already there in Canton, so he could follow that up with "but unfortunately you weren't voted in to the HOF."
@@Jojoburns26 This is done on Super Bowl weekend
4 words that change a man’s life but not in a good way:
“Welcome to Cleveland Ohio”
Can you imagine if he's like "oh shit wrong room"
Imagine its just the pizza delivery guy and they open the door.
Blue Scale I think this is one reason why they have them stay in the same hotel. They give them all a time window of when he may or may not knock that way they know not to order room service or anything else
He’d have to pull a Steve Harvey. “My mistake....it’s right here on the card....”
If he does, whoever answers automatically enters the hall of fame, whether or not they played football. There’s that much power in the knock.
@@jbdixon4020 well imma just live in a hotel now.
These Hall of Fame reaction videos have been my entry into a completely new appreciation for football, athletes, men who want something terribly and finally get it, "Canton, Ohio", David Baker, and the art of delivering good news to someone in a very classy way.
The knock that brings grown men on the field to tears
Morten Anderson breaks my heart. He was the absolute best he could’ve been but because of his position must have believed the knock would never come.
My fellow countryman worked his butt of for 25 years and will most likely be the 2nd most scoring player for ever! Only thing missing was that ring!
Dude was literally on 2 All-Decades teams and is the all times leader in games played in the NFL (not even taking in account the Pro Bowls and All-Pro noms). I mean, considering his position, he wasn't going to be first ballot or anything, but he was going to get in eventually.
@@WhoopityDoo Tom Brady has to play another 5! Full seasons to catch up with him! Amacing!
And he missed it when the 98 Vikings needed it most. Mr Automatic :(
totally agree, he was the best at his job hands down
I feel bad for those who always get nominated but never gets their door knocked
I feel bad for kids with cancer, parents that lose a child, those born with deformities, victims of sexual abuse, and most of all, those poor players who didn't make it to the hall and had to settle for a lifetime of mercedes, rolexes, mansions, the best lawyers, best food, best hotels, and are idolized for playing a kids game. Those poor fellas.
@@djrdjr8888 we get it, the world sucks and is full of problems. Bitching about someone because they simply make more money than you is childish.
Hi Im Unadvised you be speaking facts
david r what r u gonna do, cry about it
@@djrdjr8888 dude shut up lmao
It’s amazing that when these guys were kids, they dreamed of making into the NFL
It’s even more amazing that they make it into the NFL, but then getting the knock and seeing David Baker at their door, knowing they’ll be immortalized in the Hall of Fame, I can’t imagine the emotions they feel, it’s incredible
This is why we love football
This is the Ultimate tear jerker. Tears of Joy for those door knocks. It is incredible to see how these men are rewarded to be inducted into the HOF.
Could you imagine if it was just the cleaning people instead one time...
i’m pretty sure that they say something to the front desk about not going to this person’s room
just roam the halls knocking on doors and running real quick
The house keeping lady from Family Guy...House keeping?
I was thinking the same thing, lmao.
@@xtremejakesI'm pretty sure they know. There is no reason why there is 15 people in the hotelroom and a huge camera and everybody filming with their cellphones
They react like they are being drafted again isn’t that so nice
I imagine for guys this is wedding proposals, why am I crying 😭 this is beautiful
The speech he gives to everyone is amazing
The Jerry Kramer one I will always see as special. There are so many of Lombardi's Packers in the Hall of Fame, he never thought he was going to get in. The biggest surprise to me that HOF weekend was him making friends with Randy Moss.
I was pleased he finally got in, shouldn’t have had to wait so long.
The presence of so many Lombardi players should not in any way have hurt his own chances of getting in. I prefer to see it as an oversight that was finally corrected.
@@eclectica1 There is that possibility. However, back in the early 90's before the proliferation of the internet and clickbaity headlines were a thing, I watched a sports program that did a feature on The Ice Bowl and they talked to both Fuzzy and Jerry. At the end of the feature they had their panel talking, and one of them said that his sources told him that the amount of Lombardi's Packers already in the Hall of Fame hurt his chances of getting in, as the prevailing thought was that there were plenty of Lombardi's guys already in.
.
It could be just coincidence, but it took them until 2008 until he first became a finalist, then another 10 years until he got the call. So maybe that guy knew what he was talking about? In any case, I'm glad he's in. He deserved it.
The part with Steve Hutchinson is about the coolest thing ever. I tear up every single time I see that. I've seen that part about a dozen times, and my tears start flowing every single time.
Imagine your job is to deliver the news that puts the cherry on top of some of the greatest athletes careers, right to their face.
David can never be replaced.
Farve looks fitter and healthier now than when he retired lol.
Hé looks like an old dan bilzerian 😂
Which retirement? lol
The one of Randy Moss is so amazing.
That big man humbles these other big men,it actually brought tears to my eyes.
Hutchinson was the first Seahawks jersey I ever owned. Him, Jones, and Strong at fullback tore open massive holes in the O-Line for Shaun Alexander to speed through. Well deserved, and thanks for the memories Hutch!
It's an absolute disgrace that Jerry Kramer had to wait almost 50 years to get in.
Amen to that. North Idaho boy done good.
He should’ve been in immediately after Lombardi shouted him out.
One of the reasons I don't like this video. People that have longed deserved it have to wait so long and to be passed up by the younger players. Some Fucken Bullshit. I'd take Tom Flores in the HOF before Bill Cower or Jimmy Johnson.
One of the most surreal moments of my life involved Jerry. I am an RN and I do home health. I had a former Packers player (can't name names obviously) who played with Jerry for three years as a patient. My patient hadn't heard that Jerry had gotten the knock and I had the great joy of telling him his buddy made it. Then came the surreal moment: my patient wheeled himself over to a drawer and pulled out a paper pad, scrolled through it, then- with me standing there watching and listening- CALLED JERRY KRAMER to congratulate him....it was just unreal. This guy simply picked up his phone and called a Hall of Famer. I stood there with my mouth hanging open while they talked for 10 minutes or so. It was the nonchalance of it. Just a stunning experience.
@@Pianomn626 what’s RN?
This brings tears to my eyes. To those who can’t see how special sports in general is to individuals have never seen a video like this.
I love watching these! I also loved seeing Randy Moss open that door. My eyes are sweating.😢🏈
Randy Moss one was a tear-jerker, Randy was absolutely lambasted by the media non-stop and I'm so glad he is revered as one of the best. I still think he is the most talented receiver ever to do it, and he is an absolutely hilarious commentator who is entertainment gold!
This got me in the feels
One of the few times a grown man can shed tears and everybody's cool with it
You can tell a lot about a man by how his family reacts. Steve Hutchinson.
Does David Baker not have the greatest job in the world?!? And you can tell he absolutely LOVES his job!
I'll tell you what...
You want to see a grown man cry on the drop of a dime ?
Show him ANY football player being welcomed to Canton Ohio.
And the reaction from Terry Bradshaw when his colleague and more importantly friend is welcomed to the HOF is beyond Priceless and shows what type of man he is as well... 👍👍
As a lifelong Vikings fan, I had to get a little emotional over Hutch's nomination. It was awesome they recorded inside the room to see his reaction when he heard the door knock and knew his legacy would be cemented forever. Randy's cool too. Too bad Randy was a pain in the ass when he was here. You can never say bad things about Hutch
Hutchinson gets me every single time his was most deserved
This guy is a unit
God, Steve McNair deserves it so much, one tough sob of a QB, made me a instant fan of the Titans and always will be.
Now just wait for the 2 Mannings, Brady, Brees, most likely Big Ben, most likely AP, Larry Legend, etc. Best days ever
Don't forget Bill Belichick
"Two Manning and most likely Big Ben " lol are you serious? Roethlisberger is a first ballot lock and Eli might be a 2nd ballot lol
One Manning. Eli is trash.
@@ArksonAltenhofen AMEN AMEN AND AMEN
@@gothard5 He won just as many Super Bowls as Peyton and against better teams
David Baker just has that magical smile... the look of pure joy... and to be the one delivering the news? Amazing.
It's truly amazing that these big, strong, men full of bravado fall into the arms of their family first and into the arms of David Baker.
Favre looking like, “Hurry up, my hamburger steak is getting cold”
Man Randy deserved a Super Bowl. One of the best players I ever saw. That gold jacket is forever though. He deserved it.
David Baker has the greatest job in the world! He witnesses these fantastic athletes show their true emotions as Real men as the whole world cheers them on!
Dude is an absolute unit.
He's like 6'8" or something like that.
"OH MY GOD" ....... "room service"
Every single David Baker knock is beautiful in its own right
Must be the best feeling for someone who put there whole life into something
Was great to see Jerry Kramer finally get in. And I am a lifelong Bears fan.
Me being from Canton, Ohio. Welcome all new hall of famers!
Jimmys realization as david walked out too was amazing, because everyone else on stage with him was already in Canton. And howxexcited Bradshaw is for his friednd.
“You are the most beautiful thing I’ve seen in a long time.” Now that’s appreciation!!
I can relate to these HOF recipients, the jubilation... Years back, I got a knock on my door. It was the Sheriff. He served me with divorce papers. I have never been happier since, and I learned to love another, in ways I never imagined before, and to receive love as such. I never played in the NFL, but I made it to a Hall of Fame- married for 40 years since, to the most beautiful woman I have ever known, and we are still getting to know each other.
Lmao this was awesome
Brett Favre is like “yea, obviously.”
I'm in awe at the size of this lad, absolute unit.
If you didn’t get emotional watching this, then u don’t understand what it takes!!! I appreciate seeing the tears drop.
If David Baker ever accidentally knocked on the wrong room number, that would be really sad.
I’m Firefighter sitting in the station bawling in tears like a little bitch watching this.
Taco Daddy, thank you for your fire fighting service... and it takes a real man to bawl like a bitch my friend!
I won’t tell a soul!!😂😂😂
I'm a Firefighter too...after a nice bowl of chili and a visit to the ole commode.
Get back to work!
We all did bro, we all did. I'm a 34-yr old husband and father, diehard conservative and lover of guns, and I had tears. You just can't stop it, even when you want to.
That is the ultimate tribute, Come and knock on your door... hey you hall of famer. Who wouldn't cry a little?? Great Men of the game!!!
Love how he says God bless you to everybody!!
My favorite, GB Packers Jerry Kramer. That guy waited a looong time...
50 years after his retirement, and more times as an unsuccessful candidate than Satan would wish on his worst enemy.
Jerry was the only player on the 50th anniversary team that wasn't inducted into Canton for decades. I think all fans can agree we were fortunate that he was inducted while he was alive. That was a truly special moment.
Steve deserves it bigtime...he was THE MAN in Seattle!!!!!! GO SEAHAWKS!!!
Best guard I've ever seen. He was the best lineman I ever saw in a 20+ year window at Michigan too who were spitting out NFL linemen every year. The refs stripping him of his ring when him n Walter Jones basically paved Sea way to a SB.
I met David at a luncheon .. he's one of the most amazing warm kind humans ever 🎯😁
I could watch these over and over
I wanna see a recording of him telling Lawrence Taylor he's being inducted into the HOF
He would probably open the door, say "aight," then go back to sleep.
"What took you so long, bitch, I told you I want my crack rock and I want it no-OH HI DAVID!!"
2:01... Thats when i started to tear up... You can see the pride these players have for the game we all love
Battle-scarred NFL players brought down to tears. Shows how much getting to the Hall means to them. Congrats to all!!!
I didn't cry when my little cousin was born, but every time i watch these i cry.
How the hell they know it’s David. If someone knocks on my door, I ready to give them 10 dollars for my pizza and 2 liter soda.
They kinda know he’s coming as they are usually brought to the city the Super Bowl is held in and probably given a time of day he’ll be paying a visit. Also most of the images looked like it was midday-afternoon time.
"So what's your job?"
"You know when Shoeless Joe took Terence Mann into the cornfield in the field of dreams? Well, I do that for football players, and they somehow PAY me to do it!"
Tough men crying. Shows all the hard work they went thru to get that knock.
When a simple knock brings a grown man to tears . That’s a true love for the job and sport they played and loved
Damn Steve Hutchinson lost a ton of weight, good for him
A lot of lineman do because that extra weight is just for while they're playing. They wouldn't be that big outside of the league in a lot of cases.
Funny seeing Kevin Mawae accidently lock himself out of his room
That's because he protected people for a living. 😂
It’s nice to see all the support of their families.
David Baker should be inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame. Here is a guy, who has worked tirelessly and if you read his bio, you will see that everything and every endeavor that he has touched, has been made better, has been made great.
He has always worked hard, and he has touched the lives of tens of thousands of people throughout his career. He deserves to be recognized. Many people don't realize that the NFL Hall of Fame would really not exist in its present form if it weren't for him.
He's a special person, he's a positive gentle giant that makes everyone within his gravity feel better, joyful, and full of hope.
I really hope that the other people that run the Hall of Fame realize this. I hope that all the players that have been graced by being inducted realize this and push the process to give this great man the recognition that he deserves.
I've said it before, read David Barkers bio. Take a moment to realize that this man is an incredibly good man who has done nothing but good things throughout his life. He is humble, he would not seek attention, but he deserves the recognition for living his life as a very good man.
The jimmy johnson one always gets me😂
I've 're-watched' that video wayyyyyy more times than I will admit to!!! That was just the BEST. Also have to say when David Baker knocked at the hotel door of 'Randy Moss' and informed him of his entry........the tears flowed. Beautiful moments.
