Troy Aikman wasn't the only one in tears, as a Cowboys fan I was in tears as well
That team with Jimmy does 4 straight Superbowls. The Cowboys of the early 90s were why I fell in love with and played football.
I hate the cowboys and even I thought this was awesome.
As a Giants fan, even I teared a little at Troy's reaction. Jimmy, well deserved.
The look on Troy's face is what makes this moment so memorable in my worthless opinion.
I’m a Niner fan and this brings tears to my eyes every time I watch it. Congratulations coach!
Troy Aikman’s reaction PRICELESS
That's his coach!! They won a lot of games together. Aikman said it himself that even though they won another title under Switzer with Johnson's players, they were never the same team as they were under Jimmy Johnson.
Facts
Troy Aikman, silently watching with tears in his eyes, emotion etched across his face. No words can describe the class of that moment. And none needed.
Nope! 😢
It was awesome!
That part got me.
Facts that got me
Meh, just an act.
Terry Bradshaw’s reaction is the true definition of “FRIENDSHIP GOALS”.
he had me hyped
MATT MILLION 💯💪🏿
Yup
Bradshaw is the man
I wish Bradshaw would be there for all of us in our moments of triumph!
Troy silently crying and looking at his mentor and friend become a historical member of the NFL. I teared up. I almost was named Troy after that man.
I hate the Cowboys but even I can recognize the greatness. Nothing but respect for coach!

Bro, I'm a cowboys fan and I do not like the hate at all. Jason Kelce is special, Sirianni is special, your fandom is great. All across the league theres people giving everything they have for this game, I have to appreciate ALL of them.
Eagles fan here… I shed a tear Everytime I watch this.
It made more emotional when they showed Aikman’s reaction, he was trying to hold it in as best as he can
agreed. i started to have tears when they showed Troy on screen. I'm glad Jimmy finally got in. It's way overdue but he's in now. Congrats to a great coach!
It was absolutely beautiful. i’m a packers fan but i respect Jimmy so much for what he did for the cowboys. Even if the pack lost tonight i would’ve been completely contempt after seeing this. 💛💚

As a non Cowboys fan I will say this with my chest. This was WAY WAY overdue. Back in the 90’s the Cowboys looked unbeatable every year and a large part of that was JJ. He is an amazing coach, analyst, and person.
Troy looking down at his former coach and mentor , knowing the role he played in helping Jimmy get to the hall of fame reflecting on their accomplishments and knowing that this was the final thing left to accomplish , seeing his coach who was a young man when they first met to now an elderly man and knowing they have come full circle and that all the stories have been told and there is truly nothing left to do other than ride off into the sunset . Thanks for making my childhood Sundays amazing gentlemen , enjoy your immortality
Troy Aikman’s facial expression man…that hit deep. He looked so happy.
I knowwww…
Its shows their Father Son style relationships
Awesome
And to think that Aikman didnt want to play for Jimmy at one point
@@Deathcabforeli Yup! Isn't that a part of retrospection in everyone's life at some point? It's one of those ugly/beautiful things. Looking back on one's life, even the bad times are perceived as good times because of the value they add to the total package of the experience. Despite all of the negative, they're where they're at today and Troy truly shows clearly how happy he is for Jimmie.

"When you put in the work that we put in, it's nice to know that people appreciate it". All of us are trying to get through this tough game called life and make our loved ones proud of us.
Now he is finally in the Cowboys ring of honor!
Even as a Niners fan and those battles with those Cowboys teams in the early 90s, this was a beautiful moment!
Respect from opposing fans is always classy. Def some great games from both our teams.
Seeing Troy that emotional really touched me.. They really had something special over there in Dallas.
That's the last time they had something lol.
As I Cowboys fan, I agree... Jerry Jones made the best and worst decision with Jimmy J. Jerry's ego got in the way of a possibly small dynasty.
Anyone who was blessed to have a great coach for their respected sport knows that, that person can be a father figure for you. Clearly him and Troy had that relationship which is a beautiful experience not everyone gets in sports.
sad that Jerry let his ego take over and hire a pushover coach in Switzer and ruined Aikman's career after 1995

And they’ll never come close as long as Jerry is at the helm. My earliest memory of the Cowboys was during the 95 Super Bowl and how excited my family was as they watched, and so I did as well. From that day on, as a 7 year old kid I decided that was my team. And they always have been. And in my eyes just as the eyes of millions of fans, Jimmy Johnson is the man who made the Cowboys America’s Team. Growing up later in and looking up just how much Jimmy impacted the team and the game, I really have the biggest “what if” in my mind if Jerry would have just let coach do his thing. That is 20 years of pent up emotion being let out at one moment. I am very happy for coach Johnson he deserves this.
This still hasn’t gotten old. Jimmy’s reaction hits all of us because we can tell how much it meant to him.
I just watched it 6 times … oh, man.

For Real!!! I’m an Eagles fan and this was beautiful. Coach was so humble. Glad to get to share
