Possibly one of the most useful vlogs I’ve seen in awhile. Thank you for taking the time to produce this. TUI so much cheaper than the others but I wonder for how much longer it will remain that way especially with all the airports improvements.

Cracking vlog thank you. We always use TUI to fly to Orlando, and its interesting see the difference between Sanford and Melbourne, the amenities, lay out, car hire, distance etc. We fly out in October and just watching this alleviates some nerves about what we can expect on arrival. Really appreciate the routes we can take to the parks as well, really helpful advice. Genuinely, and i mean this, one of the most informative vlogs we’ve ever seen. Bravo to you guys 👏 New subscribers as well 😃👍

I just wanted to say thank you, as this video was extremely helpful in planning our first Orlando trip with TUI to Melbourne, rather than MCO as we've done in the past, and was also our introduction to your channel. My Wife and I love your content and look forward to each new video! We've been home in Scarborough from Orlando now just 4 days as I type, but again, your video was invaluable in letting us know what to expect!

Took my family to Florida in 1998, my sons were only 6 and 8, what a great holiday. We stayed in Kissimmee, but ventured to the beaches at Melbourne 4 or 5 times.
We all enjoyed or time there, its clean with lots do and see, prefect for families. My sons are grown up now, one lives in South Korea with his wife, but have warm happy
memories of our time there. I think this is a great move by TUI from Manchester, hopefully other UK airports will follow. Watching the TUI flight live from Manchester as I type,
aircraft has just passed Providence, so only about 3 hours to go. Brought back warm happy memories of our time there as a family, thank you.

Great blog. I used to travel through that airport to visit my mom in the late 70s, then lived in that area through the 89s. at that time there were only 3 gates and they only really used 2. There were no jetways and only
Eastern Airlines actually flew there. Baggage pick up was an open air porch on the side of the building. It’s fun to see where it is going now.

Being from Florida originally from West Virginia, there are alot of underutilized airports in Florida like Melbourne and Daytona Beach ,so there's plenty of room for growth .These smaller airports are relatively easier to get in and out of than the major airports.

We actually moved to Viera, Florida which is only minutes from Melbourne Airport. We love the location being less than an hour from Disneyworld, beaches, Port Canaveral and no central Florida traffic. Such a wonderful difference than the chaos of MCO. We love it! We take 95 to the 528 to the 417 to Magic Kingdom and we can get there in less than an hour. The 192 is longer but a nice drive avoiding the highway. I think you avoid so much stress landing here with zero wait to rent a car and less crowds. It's worth the few extra minutes to travel. What a wonderful video! Thank you.

Thanks for pulling this together. Very useful information as TUI changed the airport without informing us. As the trip was rescheduled there was no alternative. We are staying in a villa in August and as these seem to be in the Davenport area I assume the 192 will be the best route? Really appreciate you covering this off in a vlog, I am hoping that small = quiet = quick… but as you clearly said it depends on staffing levels. Vlogs and info on MLB are few and far between so THANKYOU for taking the time to cover it.

The 192 back across to the Kissimmee area is fine until you get to the St, Cloud area because of the time of day it does get busier. Quite a lot of the Disney area rental homes are out towards the end of the 192 and down the US27 towards davenport or or even Haines City. Huge development happening out in this area too so the 192 option from Melbourne will become more relevant as places like Margaritaville increase the vacation homes available.

To be honest it's put us off flying TUI. The positive is fast security etc, but the small amounts of shops and even more so the one hour twenty minutes drive (avoiding toll roads) going to Hard Rock Hotel Universal. That said, TUI and offering transfers and if the holiday packages they offer are cheaper than Virgin etc it is probably worth it... AND we loved flying on the Dreamliner on our last visit using TUI. This is why we like your vlogs, even though we have visited Orlando relatively regularly you keep us up to date on things we haven't known about and helped us with making future plans. Great vlog for any Tui customers flying into their new airport. To me it seems quite a distance to travel after a long flight but I can also see the advantages. Hopefully I'll get to try it one and be able see for myself if it was a good move. I think having transfers also puts them in a win win situation really because you could have a nice little "Nanna Nap" 😉 onroute to your digs and maybe hit the parks on your very first. Thank you for filming, editing and sharing such an informative vlog. Take care 🙂

Thanks for your time doing this vlog, very informative. Arriving there via TUI in two weeks time with a wheelchair user......so will be a good test (usually flying into Sanford in the past). TUI will provide a Welfare Bus to Pop Century this time, but the next visit in September will be a hire car and a villa, so thanks for the driving advice! Take care!!

Just stumbled upon your channel. Very informative. I can remember flying into Sanford on my first ever visit (coach transfer to Orlando), and last time we flew into Fort Lauderdale to save money (as we’re restricted to school holidays). It did save £££ but was a very long drive after a long flight! Thank you again, I’m off to have a look at some of your back catalogue of vlogs now!

A huge thank you 4 doing this vlog , really informative , very useful. We all being well going 2 florida in September with tui , been with them several times now always the cheapest Sandford airport was OK as a airport but just found it so boring old and dated and nothing there the security area was so tiny as we get are transfers with tui they pick u up stupidly early that's the down side . With the investment Melbourne is having it looks more will be there in time , looks fresh and modern . Keep up the good work both .

There is certainly a desperate need of more restrooms here at Melbourne. When we left 2 weeks ago the restroom near the lounge area and check in had only 1 of the 3 stalls usable. NOT good enough. Also we had to wait until the Manchester flight travelled across to be our ride home. SEVEN hours late. NOT the fault of the Melbourne Airport but down to issues back home in Manc. It will, and has to, get better. The staff at this airport are brilliant, including the young lady who owns and operates the Duty Free. She came back into the building and reopened the DF at 10 in the evening just for our flight.

I did notice the staff were very nice when we were filming there. My worry is they are ramping up the number of TUI flights and the infrastructure to support it. I do prefer flying from smaller airports though.

Hi Bazza and mrs. Bazza, we've enjoyed all your vlogs on Melbourne, and many more , we live down in Torquay Devon, and Bristol is a very handy airport for us , to travel to Orlando, But it seems Tui have now dropped it from Bristol to Melbourne for next year ,its disappeared fom next years web site such a shame , i read in some forums people have had their flights changed to gatwick, looking forward to flying their ,but hopefully they may put it back on, 🤞

We just booked for here after our disney cruise was cancelled (cant get off the ship in europe with an unvaccinated 4 year old apparently due to cdc guidance???). But anyway, got a late deal for fly drive with tui at £390 pp so why not give it a bash, you’ve certainly given me a bit of confidence in the new airport and ill just expect a bit of a wait at customs/check in and not get worked up about it!
