This turned out beautiful, especially the island. However, Alessia did mention her Italian roots and a style that reminds her of her grandmother. So instead of framing a picture of Paris and “La vie en rose”, I would have preferred to see a picture of Italy and eg. “La dolce vita” !

I am an older subscriber I’m in my 50s and I was an interior exterior decorator and designer in Seattle Washington on and off for 20 years and I’ve stayed current with everything going on via CZcams and other platforms. You have hands-down Made this I think the most incredible use of space, thinking outside the box with those amazing shelves that the couch just nestled into and can be used as side tables and the projector to watch TV… And the amazing kitchen island that you made her with those adorable stools because she’s got it somewhere you’ve just really not this one totally out of the ballpark And I am so proud of you! This is the second time that a balcony has not been considered in the overall space and it is SOOOOO frustrating. I don't understand how there wasn't even a nod to the balcony, which is where friends will spill out to probably 5 months out of the year, if not 6. Why, Alexandra, why? This happened in the apartment with the crazy weird triangular layout and I couldn't understand it then either. But here, the omission is next level because it is sitting right there. Empty, bleak, and forlorn.
Overloading a balcony could result in a safety hazard,and balconies differ as to how much they can hold. If they add a lot of weight on one with furniture it would hold less people.

I've been a fan of your channel since 2018 and this makeover is one of my favorites. My living room is about 150sqft and this showed how cleverly small spaces can be designed to look functional and livable.

The attention to detail just continues to elevate lately (like painting the trim on the island, the outlet plates, projector, or styling the extra open shelf in the kitchen)- this was such a huge transformation, and I’d love to see more in this style! I know there have been some comments in the past about the art prints feeling kind of generic, but I thought in this one the balance of photos and prints looked a lot more individualized and like they’d be easy for Alessia to add her own photos and mementos to. I love it! I’m definitely going to go check out that wallpaper. I can’t believe how “complete“ you were able to make a tiny space feel.

As a designer to another, you truly are amazing! After living in bigger homes, I moved into a small space myself and surprisingly, still can't get my design layout figured out for my bedroom. So wish you lived in the US!! I'd hire you in a heartbeat!! ♡

I've been a fan of your channel since 2018 and this makeover is one of my favorites. My living room is about 150sqft and this showed how cleverly small spaces can be designed to look functional and livable.

The attention to detail just continues to elevate lately (like painting the trim on the island, the outlet plates, projector, or styling the extra open shelf in the kitchen)- this was such a huge transformation, and I’d love to see more in this style! I know there have been some comments in the past about the art prints feeling kind of generic, but I thought in this one the balance of photos and prints looked a lot more individualized and like they’d be easy for Alessia to add her own photos and mementos to. I love it! I’m definitely going to go check out that wallpaper. I can’t believe how “complete“ you were able to make a tiny space feel.
