Just a reminder, Dr. Grande isn't speaking to the dead in this video, only speculating what the dead could be saying in a situation like this.
Hah!! That’s perfect!!
And not diagnosing anyone

I am wondering if the death is listening to Dr.Grande? Any signs? ❄️ or 🔥

This one couldve come from the man himself!

Being able to tap into the paranormal and controlling your fate are two different things. He always states he's not a fortune teller..

I was always impressed how John could complete his interactions with the dead in approximately 2-5 minute slots, as though all the deceased had curiously agreed not to exceed their time limit.

Funny how the dead can only speak in letters also. "I'm sensing a problem or the first letter of somebody's name. Your nana is giving me a J....?" Lol.

I saw John Edward live once. We waited for a very long time for him to appear on stage. I sat and listened to audience members discussing life episode that they hoped he would "hit on". This intrigued me and we went to see him another time. The exact same thing happened. I believe he either has employees in the audience or listening devices getting stories from people. OR possibly using shills in the audience just like magicians. He may also be using a combo of those methods and cold reading.
wow !!!
I was in his audience and he totally read me. He said, "I am feeling someone who has a relative, a mother maybe." That was totally me!
OMFG I HAVE A MOTHER TOO THIS IS SO F'ING WEIRD

When I was in Oprah’s audience, there were certain chairs through the room that had ‘reserved’ on them. Those were the only people that got to stand up and ask questions during the show. Maybe John had plants in his audience too.
And we all know about Oprah now, too.
I remember watching an Unsolved Mysteries back in the late 80s and a murder case in the LA area was profiled. Apparently a team of mother/daughter psychics were viciously murdered by an unknown assailant. I immediately said to my wife "You'd have thought they'd seen that coming."
Some psychics don’t know the future, just talk with the dead.

Fascinating stuff, good to have found this channel. A friend of mine went to see a very famous UK medium a few years ago. Apparently, the first half of the evening was pretty lacklustre but strangely enough, after the audience had mingled & chatted in the bar during the interval, the second half was "uncannily" accurate. 🤔🤔🤔

Mr Edward's fees are rather extortionate. I'd expect a definite connection with my whole deceased family for that price.

You are so funny, loved the gopher reference.. woodchucks and bunnies. You never fail to make me laugh.
I think that "psychic mediums" know a lot about behavioral psychology. I knew a friend's mom
who did psychic readings, and when I called her out, she revealed some of her methods/skills.
For instance, a friend got a reading from her. She looked at his hands, as though looking at
his palm lines for "signs". She said, "You are a musician, you play the guitar". He was amazed
and was at that point, taken in. This is when the subject's mind glazes over and is now receptive
to suggestion. Like hypnosis. She knew he played the guitar because he had callouses on his
fingers. No mystery, just keen observation mixed with showman know how. The mind glaze can
happen to a large group of people if they believe that they have proof of magical powers.
My husband had a hard time dealing with his father's death. He started seeing "psychics" who convinced him that the father was communicating through them. At first I didn't say anything as this seemed to give my husband some solace. (I thought it was nuts). Then I learned how much money was being handed over to the psychics. It was a lot. I stopped being silent and started to point out all the flaws in the so-called "readings." It took some time, but my husband no longer pays psychics to talk to dead relatives.
Just because there are liars and scam artists who are just trying to con people out of money etc... that doesnt mean that its all fake and lies..there are people who can really do this stuff... at all diff ways and levels of strength or power..its an intuition thing..flashes of images or names or letters thoughts etc...not all want money or ask for payment..they just help people or friends or family and dont ask for any payment :) sorry that person tried to take advantage of your husband.
@@Mr.Monster1313 I am a psychic and I am telling you to cash app me ASAP. YOure dead family member has something very important to tell you. You need to listen to me before you are haunted forever.
Good for you have been able to reason him back to reality. Those psychics litteraly abuse people who are in pain just like religious cults or "alternative" religions. They only target people that are at a low point in theirs lives and are searching for answers.
@@Mr.Monster1313 Here's an encounter I had with a "helpful psychic": My cat got out and ran away. I posted on NextDoor info about my missing cat and several neighbors answered that they would keep an eye out for her. One neighbor lady posted, "I see your cat under a deck. She's really scared." And, "she's afraid to come out!" And, "I'm telling her to go home, but she won't leave the deck." I was frustrated because I kept saying, "please can you give me the address?" But no answer. Finally, another neighbor answered, "She's a psychic. She is only getting IMPRESSIONS, not actually seeing your cat crying under a deck." Ugh. NOT helping. I eventually did get my cat back, two weeks later, but it was not from any help from any "psychic," who only stoked my anxiety and got my hopes up for nothing.

I always wanted to see someone get up there in front of edward and totally play into his bullshit like omg yes I DO have a dead brother named bill. And yes he DID die of a “medical issue”! And yes he did have brown hair just like me! And yes he did have a job at some point in his entire life omg how did you know that!?! And after all of it just be like SIKE!!
Idk I always wanted to see that happen
I don't understand how if they can talk to dead people, yet frequently say, "I'm hearing from someone whose name starts with an M or J". So do dead people purposely tell them details of the person's life yet they can't clearly say their name?
I laughed way too hard at this
Oh I’ve said this so many times myself. The dead can convey such elaborate stories with great detail, but they can’t state their name, but make it a “guess who”. Frauds!
Yeah, the dead can only play charades with mediums.
hahahahahaha this comment and the replies baaahahaha =)
🤣 Exactly. The reason they also say M or J is because those first letters are common for a name in peoples’ lives. We all know someone with a M or J name.
Oh my goodness! This was too bloody funny matey🤣😂!! I'm loving your dry wit at the end of the day here in the land DownUnda! Far out, your wit would mesh so seamlessly with our culture here. I've been living in the US in various locations for work and I felt I was a fish out of water in terms of the Aussie/ Yank humor situation. I resigned myself to believing we're like chalk n cheese! I'm pretty thrilled to know at least 1 Yank would've remembered we're not actually all that dissimilar and it's good to find the humor in life sometimes! G'day from lovely Queensland and thank you for narrowing the gap with your intellectual commentary and humor. I really enjoy your wise, thought provoking discussions.
I love that gopher related fatality and the macaroni scenario. You're really funny, Dr Grande. Like seeing your sense of humour in this analysis and would concur with the underlying sentiment.
His "abilities" come at a hefty fee and if you are genuinely trying to help someone, out of your goodness of heart alone, why the price tag? It's interesting there are no guarantees on accuracy. That's handy. If you paid $850 for something, you would surely expect some guarantee. Unfortunately, there are so many vulnerable people, as you point out, who cling on to these psychics, mystics and so on. It's very sad and morally wrong, I agree.

A true psychic told me what me brother (he made suicide in Europe) said to me in our last phone call. Not one person on this world could know, I told no one about this phone conversation. Another psychic described in a phone call my bedroom, even to the smallest detail and she was correct. She also said that my (dead) brother liked the pink color of my pants. I don’t know about John Edward but some psychics are amazing good and correct and even help solving cases for the police.
I don’t like the term “psychic” medium. Sounds too….”Woo, woo”!….Yup I get it, so does the term medium! It’s a given that all mediums must have developed psychic abilities; however, not all psychics are mediums. The point of focus for reading (or interpreting) the energy is entirely different. It is important, during a reading NOT to ask questions. Response from the client/sitter should only be “I understand this”, “I don’t understand this”, or “I don’t know”. Evidential mediumship is just that.. the medium relaying information through statements or personality characteristics that are beyond the expected. It may be a shared memory or a very unusual name, occupation, or character/personality trait, to name a few. And yes, surprise, surprise….we do get it wrong on occasion; however, it is most often due to information coming through and how “we” interpret that info. Our logical mind can certainly misinterpret the information based on our own understanding or experience. Giving the information exactly as we receive it is usually most accurate. But you know how we humans are….we just have to manipulate the information in a way that we think makes more sense or sounds better. Every time I do that, I crash and burn! After the reading and the sitter gives me feedback, I think…”Idiot…why didn’t you just shut your rambling mouth and leave the initial statement alone!!!” When the client looks at me like I have a third eye 🤣, that’s when I just need to shut up! We are certainly our own worst enemy sometimes!!! Mediumship is a service, and charging for that service certainly is not ethically inappropriate; however, I feel, when ego takes over and those fees are way beyond what most can actually afford to spend, that, to me, crosses the line into greed. People seek out mediums because they are in grief and just want to know their loved one is ok. However, it is important for people to understand that acceptance of going through the stages of grief is necessary psychologically speaking. It is important that after the passing of a loved one, to take time to try to process through this tragedy. I have seen way too many psychics/mediums playing into their clients grief for monetary gain. If I have a client that is asking for a reading and is initially visually very emotionally distraught,, rather than a reading, I would choose to be a compassionate ear for them and, if need be, refer them to a grief counselor. There are codes of ethics to adhere to in this field of work and to violate those rule/codes can have serious consequences to the client/sitter and the medium, as well. There a reputable and quality psychics and mediums out there. You just have to do your research and be cautious of who you receive services from. If you feel uncomfortable, untrusting, or intimidated in their presence…get up and walk away.
Nope. They all communicate with ancient demons. Doesn’t mean they are wrong. Just means the information is coming from a dark source.
@@Blessedcrumb what a stupid answer! You have no clue! Dark source 🤣🤣🤣

No psychic ever solved a true crime mystery.
My favorite "psychic" was Sylvia Browne.....a recurring guest on the Montel Williams Show. On more than one occasion she claimed missing people were dead, who turned up alive. She also often predicted that she would die at the age of 88....but died at 77.
She was really a fake
She claimed that in Heaven we can look like whoever we want .
@Jane Doe I have seen my soul visit a garden of peace . We are loved. ❤️
Sylvia brown was good. One day when she was on Montel and as they talked I hurried and gather information on the case. She would reveil her information. The information she reveiled later in the show was just as what she gathered. I too am a Psychic and my information reveils who murdered and where the body is to be located. This man running this site is wrong and doing much damage because God is the one who asked me to do this after Jesus appeared to me on May 9, 1986. If this man running this station makes money while he damages others talking about things he knows nothing about as far as Psychics is concerned.

In fact Dr. Grande makes analysis in every one of his videos not really knowing all the truth but all his videos are speculations of what is probable.
Dr. Grande, you might want to do a "Psychics and Mediums: Reformed" in a future show. Look for Doreen Virtue, a former psychic and medium who is well known and for a long time did group and individual readings, including on radio. He repeatedly claims that he's special and Stan keeps calling him out and even goes into the concept of cold reading, but stupid people don't seem to understand and they continue to be fooled. It's also funny because Stan goes to John's house to tell him to stop lying to Kyle, and John has a sound effect when he enters the room that goes "Ladies and gentleman, Psychic John Edward" followed by a clap track implying that he's so full of himself that he has speakers installed throughout the house to remind others that he's entered the room and that they should clap for him.

A lady called in and the psychic giving her a reading got 12 WRONG answers before the he got a single 'yes, that is correct'. I know because I counted the no's.
While thoroughly enjoying your mellow voice and relaxing, I sudden spit my tea out, laughing at 9:35 "... if someone paid a gopher for a murder-for-hire plot..." 😂😂 Thank you! Totally worth it lol 😆❤
John Edward: "I'm feeling someone who's name has a vowel and a consonant in it..."
Audience member: "Oh my gawd! My dead grandfather was named Joe!"
Meanwhile Jhn Smth spirit remains unanswered
🤣🤣👍
Mine too OMG!!!
Same 😂
IKR? And they believe it! I feel bad for them, they want so badly for this to be true.
This is one of Dr. Grande's best. Hilarious (and clever) but also with serious and practical conclusions. Our culture right now is very short on critical thinking skills. Emotions rule and are exploited over and over by self-serving people in every walk of life.
Critical thinking is fast becoming a lost art. I once had a Tarot card reader ask me to leave because I was not cooperating. It was $10 of entertainment. I always know I am in the presence of fraud when I get asked to leave.😅
I say the same thing. Seriously lacking in critical thinking skills.
"My sister was murdered by a piece of macaroni" It takes a lot to make me laugh out loud, but that did it! Your sense of humour is one of my favourite things about your video analyses. Thank you.😆
I stumbled across your video today Dr. Grande and I’m really glad I did. I recently lost a loved one and started listening to mediums on CZcams, but I don’t really believe that there is such a thing as a medium. And if there were such a thing as a true medium why would they want to charge anyone the information that they give? You would think if this is from the soul or from God it would be freely given to bring comfort and closing to the grieving. And looking at different mediums I came across this video and I’m so glad I did. You really have put focus back on what I truly believe that anyone can do a reading just by listening to the person and picking up on certain cues. Several of my friends do go to mediums, I was with my partner for 31 years, we were one not two people in a relationship. I do not need a medium to tell me about my partner and myself or whether are not my partner is in our home or near me. Thank you again
I like your theory that everyone will get picked for a private reading! “Ooooo, I hope I get picked!” 😄
If they're not in the Internerd Psychic database, they won't get selected.
"Gopher related incidents" absolutely decked 🤣🤣
One of your most humorous, doc!
I love the sarcasm! I love your hot takes 😄
If you watch the readings done by Rev. Donna Seraphina, on the Daybell family (deaths of the children in particular), you'll see a real psychic reading. I don't watch her anymore (newly felt religious reasons - she's truly in touch with the other side which is very very dangerous, even to watch) but I think she's spot on. She's struggling with her physical health, which I believe is a direct consequence in dabbling in the occult, in her case (cancer struggles). I'm pretty sure that Donna helped the investigators find the children's bodies because her visions showed her the locations before the bodies were found on the step father's property. I'd love to see an analysis of Lori Daybell Vallow and or her family: especially Melanie Gibb & Lori's sisters, mother. And of Zulema (a lot of video of her statements - she seems the most innocent, even tho I didn't think so at first - her last police interview posted on CZcams is quite telling).
I used to watch his show and I noticed that he always singled out an Italian-looking family and asked them if they had a Tony or Maria that might be trying to contact them.
South Park got it right on this one. You know which episode I'm talking about. 😂
Crowned Biggest Douche in the known universe!
Wow we wow what an honor.
The Biggest Douche in the Milky way.
( que ratcheted overblown music)
That will be $850.00 American buck's! Now!
They always get it right.🤣
Hello, again, Dr. Grande!🙋🌵🪴🌵🪴 I'm on a bit of a binge!☺️☺️ Hopefully, you're just relaxing! Thank You! I've wondered about John for years! Like how many human plants are in the audience. Lol
Love the humor Dr Grande slips in there.
I cant say if John is or isnt psychic but I can say that I have had a very real and unexplainable experience with one myself. I am a thousand percent a believer of science, but there are some things in this life that cannot be explained and Witnessing or experiencing one as profound as mine changes you forever.
Ditto! I had a powerful experience with my Lyft driver who claimed he was a medium. He told me things he had NO way of knowing and he wasn't guessing! You see my son had committed suicide. My driver told me my son was in the car with us and wanted to say how sorry he was and that he's done his work so he and I will be on the same level when I die. He said my son was very proud of the work I'd done. I had just finished my 12th step. Sorry Dr. Grande this gentleman didn't know me or anything about me. How did he know all of this? Furthermore, this gentleman was so overcome with emotion, remorse when he was telling me my son was so very sorry for the pain he caused me, he almost pulled the car over. It was so powerful! He wasn't reading me as he was driving. God moves in mysterious ways His wonders to perform.
What happened?? I want to know!
John Edwards is still NOT a psychic
Linda Carlton I know some people who are physic...a lot of them feel like it is their job to help people heal...they don’t charge money.
@@lindacarlton3154 right. The world isn't as clear cut as some people think. There's stuff out there that's beyond what we experience in every day life , some people bump into it - others don't.
Gopher related death. Not sure anyone ever put those 3 words together in that order until Dr Grande did.
gopher it!
I thought he said "goat-herd". I'm glad you cleared that up, goat-herd-related death makes no sense.
Oh Dr. Grande, I sensed much sarcasm in this video🤣🤣
As usual, spot on about his “psychic “ powers. From what little I’ve seen, he relies on cold reading, vague statements, and plays the odds. Thanks for mentioning James Randi’s work to expose these frauds. Randi exposed Popoff’s use of a radio receiver in his ear as he used a scanner to listen in. Popoff went away after the exposure, but then resurfaced and people still throw money at him.
Some will use the "j" or "m" strategy. Because most people's names start with those names. I believe we all have gut feeling or intuition. Some stronger than other's. I never believed John was sincere. Playing on people's emotions of the bereaved loved ones, takes a "certain" kind of individual.
I know there are Spiritual gifts and God sends messages that are spiritual . But talking to others dead at random isn't likely. Those that may have the Gift are wrong to abuse it and mislead people. Small children communicate with the Spiritual ,then forget when they get older. The Bible calls them suithsayer. God doesn't want his children to go to these people, physics , palm readers, etc. JUST ASK GOD, IF HE DESIRES YOU TO KNOW, HE WILL SEND MESSAGE HIMSELF.
@@devong7124 one thing the internet never tires of, people telling how to worship while I don't say a thing. ( Besides the rosary everyday)
@@agent_ninety9 I don't know much about the rosary. Never studied about it. But what I believe about it, its a good sign.
That was diplomatic of you 👊🏼
John frequently goes for the “Gee jay connection.” G and J sounds cover a MULTITUDE of names, towns and other connections.
Anyone who earns money bilking sad and hurting people is among the lowest of the low.
That's true, but ultimately the blame lies with the only people who could prevent these scams- The people who actively volunteer themselves to get fleeced. Edwards IS a complete low-life, but he isn't demanding money from anyone at gunpoint- These Idiots CHOOSE to give their cash away; Edwards is just amoral enough to take it. And if Edwards didn't take their cash, there are 1,000 other dirtbags, just waiting to step up, and take Edwards' place. The ONLY time parasites like Edwards will vanish entirely, is after people wise up, and no-one's willing to buy into his BS anymore.
@@baconsarny-geddon8298 true, but typically these are desperate, gullible people who want to believe.
@@baconsarny-geddon8298 Grief does strange things to people though. John is a piece of shit for taking advantage of people in complete desperation.
Dr. Grande, your dry humor cracks me up so bad! 🤣🤣 I really enjoy your videos.
OMG gopher related fatalities - you’re killing me here, your dry humour is priceless!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
He is a disgusting con man, taking advantage of people when they're at their weakest and most vulnerable time of their lives..
Who, John Edward or Dr Grande? LOL
Fun fact: When someone asked Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the creators of South Park, who is the WORST person they ever featured/ripped on in the show they said John Edward... Anyone who has not seen South Park - it features such terrible people like Saddam Hussein, Satan, etc. Episode was "Biggest Douche in the Universe"
♡♡
@@Daavhimself They were probably joking lmao
Like those evangelical preachers.
When you have to pay for it , it's a scam. If he was doing " out of the goodness of his heart " it might be a different story. Taking advantage of grieving people should be criminal.
Well thats not how real life works when you need money in order to survive.
@@invincible9462 Conning people? I don’t get your statement. He’s a scam artist.
Ruth Montgomery
Edgar Cayce
If I had this ability, I would not provide free readings. It takes a lot of ability to prepare such as meditation and prayer. I would have to make a living somehow. John states that he knows people will doubt him and that is OK.
Appreciate that you have covered a lot of topics .
Years ago he was filmed live( I forget what show it was) but boy oh boy what a embarrassment!!
Thank you for this one 😀
These "readings" are like horoscopes. It could apply to everyone. Unfortunately the vulnerable people want so badly to connect with their relative. They will see any common situation and apply it to their life. When I learned he doesn’t let his shows be recorded, it told me everything I need to know about him.
The lamp from the Christmas Story that was made in Italy... would look bomb on that shelf.
You just aged yourself. Boomer.
I made one for a Christmas window scene, and my kids were so confused and didn't think it was appropriate for Christmas. 👩🏽🦳

"Murder for Hire Gophers" a new true crime series coming to TLC this Summer!
Don’t jest. It would be cruel for this not to materialize 🦫
I’m dead 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I have had psychic experiences myself. I can tell you some are real. Maybe John Edward was not great at the cold read. Even though I am highly sensitive, there is no way I could “cold read” people. Some psychics are unbelievably accurate and specific. my mother saw a well respected psychic. I was around 8 yrs old at the time. She so accurately described the adult lives of my brother and and I, even 40 years later I’m astounded. Keep an open mind. Not everything we see is all there is to know. My father was an INTP who reminds me of you in many ways.. A lawyer and thinker like you. A psychology and philosophy major in college. He never believed. Again, open mind. :)
As long as that open mind doesn't cause money to be siphoned from the wallets of those dealing with loss and grief.
super kudos to you dr. grande. this was too funny!!!
