absolutely. it makes me sad these "mediums" because psychic abilities are nothing like this. psychic understanding is simply a heightened mental and spirital connection to everyone and everything around. It is difficult to explain, but it NEVER comes to any true psychic as a cold hard facts or directions. It is like an intuition, a puzzle, symbols, or a feeling... and you are right a true psychic would likely have good intuition into their own relationships.

Crazy coincidence: I more believed her than not due to the Montel Williams show. I went to one of her conferences in the Midwest. At the time I worked in healthcare. This elderly, chic lady asked SB about the cause of her husband's death. Silvia said the MDs were wrong and he died of such and such. It seemed rather familiar to me.... Lo and behold, the lady and her daughter were standing inline behind me while complaining about SB's response. For the ONLY TIME IN MY LIFE, I asked was your husband at XYZ hospital? Yep. I put together that I had legitimately read her husband's chart for my job. His death was an unique situation therefore, it stuck out. I explained to this lady what I did so she would know that what I said was true. She was so grateful to me and thanked me so much. It was then that I realized what a fraud SB was!! SB told the woman to dig up her husband's grave, get another MD's opinion, blah, blah. Can you imagine?? Yet it is Amanda Berry's mother that still haunts me.

And said something along the lines of " ... but he knew how to swim? Idk.. please forgive me it's been awhile. If I can find that particular clip I will share it. You could tell the woman caught her lying and that face went from being uninterested to " Oh crap i got found out". Woman"s just pure evil. Lost respect for her at a young age. Before that i looked up to her. Glad videos like this are out.

Interesting comment, but you use quotation marks in the strangest way. Not at all trying to be mean, but you put the quotation mark like “Oh no, not another one of these sad…” and so on. You also didn’t need to put a bunch there, there should only be one at the “Oh no… (and then put the last one at the) people.“
It makes it really hard to understand your comment without that.

I grew up in Campbell, CA where Sylvia lived. For a short time a few years before she founded her church she ran a prayer and metaphysics group out of an office building in town. My infant son had been hospitalized with an undiagnosed illness and in my helplessness and desperation I found myself there one night, sobbing to a woman behind the counter and filing out a prayer request form. Sylvia had been sitting at a desk in the background and when she heard me crying she came up to me and took my hands in hers. She actually promised me that my son would be fine, which gave me immense comfort and turned out to be true. I have to give her props for her compassion that night, even though I became a skeptic of her psychic abilities soon after and grew to hate her for the anguish she caused so many tortured parents. She died in disgrace at a local hospital and is buried near my husband’s family members. I sometimes wonder how she’s doing in the afterlife.

Thank you about your story on Sylvia Brown, I’ve never heard of her.
I’m British, but that gives people the wrong idea of Spiritual Mediums.
We all havre this gift to a degree , I wanted to work with mine from being a child , but didn’t know anything about it then.
    I new I was different that’s all.
But over many years I’ve come to the understanding I’m feel honoured to say I’m a helper for spirit friends.
My work is precious too me.
Messages I receive are from the highest of love. My friends and I work on that premiss to give our messages with love., neither are our intentions to hurt anyone.
Listening to Sylvia Brown on one show, blatantly telling someone how they died , for me is cruel, we have to be responsible for what comes out of out mouth.
I found her unfeeling. That’s not spiritual at all.
We work with guides whom protect that spirit and protect us. All with love.
We are not allowed nor would I want it even if I new tell a person in front of others about a loved one.
For me that’s a one to one reading. Private.
Spirit friends work with me in love not hate or vengeance .
She must have given loved ones here nightmares.
This too me is disgusting, and a gift if she had one was used fraudulent .
How Sylvia was allowed to get away with this , well I’m astounded.
For the true Mediums out there I wish you love and harmony and keep working for the highest and the best. In Christs name which is LOVE.🙏🙏🇬🇧❤️

It's still an unsolved case here where I'm from, but right after his death, my dad and grandma (their mom) went on the montel williams show in hopes of making the case more public and seeking some sort of closure through Sylvia out of desperation and heartbreak. If I'm not mistaken, apparently my dad left the show that day knowing she was full of shit. We still have the vhs tape of it somewhere boxed up .

This is going to sound incredible and that's because it is.
I know people that literally think I am a psychic.
I was raised to be incredibly observant of people and also to anticipate people's needs. So when I go ahead and help people or understand what they're trying to talk about, bystanders literally think I'm a psychic.
I tell them I'm not I just really pay attention and 9 times out of 10 you can tell what somebody is going to want. It has made me a very good nurse with patients with dementia because I'm able to figure out what they're trying to say or what need they're trying to have met. There are people that would rather believe that I have a psychic ability than the fact that I just really pay attention to people.

After communicating with the psychic, I was offered for about 200 dollars a class to become a medium with a certificate, to use to work with people that have lost love ones. It was truly sickening to me. Since I have learned alot about how these people trick & fool people into believing they are communicating with loved ones. Years later he was found being a hero and saving another boy his kidnapper had kidnapped. I will never forget how angry I was at her. I quit watching that TV show after that. @@solannyandrea378 Sorry, I don't HATE ANYONE- but I DO STRONGLY DISLIKE when people like her take advantage of people in their most vulnerable and tragic times in their life, when they are hurting, GRIEVING, Heartbroken, and DESPERATE for ANY kind of answers or comfort- and they lie- and do it ALL for MONEY, or sometimes Fame AND money. I find that sickening, and I've seen it happen to people I love. After my Dad died WAY too young from colon cancer, my Brother got obsessed with knowing if he still existed on the other side (I personally believe he does and I hope sometimes he is around me and his Grandchildren, and that he is so Happy is surrounded by Love and Free of all pain!) But my brother started spending CRAZY AMOUNTS of money on a "Psychic" who told him she was getting "messages" straight my Father apparently. It ruined his marriage eventually and left his 4 children in a horrible situation bc he spend THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS on this, and they didn't have much to begin with. And it was all bunk. That's also on him for bad decision making, but he was grieving and he has some extreme learning disabilities and mental struggles, so it's much harder for him to understand logically. So I guess I would say I don't DESPISE people like this, but I CERTAINLY despise what they do, how they prey on and profit off people's pain and lie and rob people blind. It is especially disturbing when it involves someone who has lost a child, so broken, and looking for ANYTHING to help. In that situation, I might try ANYTHING too! So YES I said Amen to this comment, and Amen CAN just mean you agree with someone- also I am never unkind to ANYONE, and I'm always very quick to apologize if I ever do wrong- and we all do, or especially if I offend someone- but I won't apologize for this or how I feel about it, and I'm sure God would frown on it heavily also BTW (the lying and taking advantage and exploiting people's loss and grief I mean)- if you are taking the "Amen" in that sense, though I was just meaning it as "I agree". It's not an ok thing to do, and you judging me for feeling that way about people who lie and deceive and exploit pain and Death and Loss and tragedy and heartbreak and vulnerability for money seems short sided and unkind, but you're welcome to your feelings and opinions just like I'm welcome to mine. I hope you have a nice and beautiful day!

I find it fascinating how her life and career align so simply and profoundly with the act of predation we find in nature. She spends her time waiting for vulnerable victims and casts her net towards the desperate and delusional. She charges high prices to pick wealthy and desperate targets, while her practice itself makes sure the victims are highly suggestible. Predation arises naturally among people who have nothing better to do than act like animals. What’s supernatural is how we’ve failed to extinguish predation amongst humans for all these years.

I got the feeling that she did have the ability to somewhat tune into certain things, but could not pin more detailed things. I don't know, kind of hard to explain. I also saw a lot of people on the Montel Williams show that said she did accurately predict things. So I'm just not sure what to make of her. However though, I did send a question into her son just a few months ago, and asked what I should do about my sleep problems, and he 100% nailed it that I have sleep apnea, like he was dead on accurate.
