What is "Parkinsonism"? What is the difference between Parkinson's Disease and parkinsonism?

We are discussing the definition of "parkinsonism," which is not the same as Parkinson's Disease. There are many reasons to have parkinsonism; ONE of them is Parkinson's Disease.

Thank you dr good factual information is helpful to those of us who are in that 60 month window. My symptoms have been additive in number and severity. I started with early mixed diagnosis to FMD to now Functional parkinsonism. Normal DAT Scan but a positive response to Sinemet. Will be 36 months this May with onset of first symptoms. This has been already a long and confusing road.
