Hayden is so fortunate that his skills have been recognized. That’s led to the happy accident that is his shop. Sounds like it wasn’t something he planned to do. If you show up and bring your best, you will succeed. Love the channel and all of your crazy projects!
At first I thought that you were going to put all the plaid parts into the NSX. I know it would probably exclude it from a lot of classes, but it would be sweet to put the plaid motor in the front, and K-series in the back.
I feel like you should 100% use the turbo manifold not just for the looks and efficiency with the scoop on but for the dude you bought it from something major made him pull the plug and I'd imagine he'd love to see a part of him still in the build
@@ls_812Speed doesn’t care about looks. The snorkels on pro civics looks absolutely garbage, but you have to do what you have to in order to go fast. They definitely know the recipe to make it happen.. he's held the MR2 record for how long and he barely takes it out but almost every time he does he makes the record deeper into the 7s
That’s an awesome project! Can’t wait to see the building proces of this thing. I wonder how light you can make it. Adding the page to this thing will certainly add a significant amount of weight so getting to that 1800 mark will be difficult considering what’s been done already. Can only think of cutting of the whole front end and tube it and replacing all of the aluminium body panels that haven’t been touched yet and get those in carbon fibre but even then I have my doubts. It will be an awesome project to see come together that’s for sure!
Tubing the Front and back will add lightness, stiffening the entire car, also the suspension can be better setup for racing.and also allow for Bigger Wheels. Also a proper flat floor could be fitted with a front and Rear diffuser to suck the Car down to the Road at speed. Also, although I love that spoiler, it will interrupt airflow so I'd change that for a Carbon fibre boot lid which will extend off the back. Also that front end I'd do something similar to a Lotus Elise where the air can flow through frunk, as such and again pulls the whole car down onto the road reducing front end lift all in Carbon Fibre but would be big$$$ as would have to be Custom but would be worth it!!
@@markwalton8644 yeah you’re absolutely right but keep in mind that it’s a drag car. In fact with how little this car weighs I’d reckon it needs to be slightly front heavy. Another thing with aero is de drag created from them.
