Good review, nice bag, I am in the air with having a bad that is empty and fill it myself. So for example I bought the 7l timbuk2 based on your review. I would use that with other bags for organization then pull out the sling for when I need it. My issue is travelling with a suitcase and a knapsack of sorts and a sling bag. Maybe find an easily compressible sling bag to stuff in your backpack while traveling and then be able to take it out to use for edc while at your destination?
