QVO tactical has a Velcro mounting panel that should work well with this.

To each their own but I carry a Large Saddleback leather billfold and flirt with the idea of the passport sizes. There's 2 about the same size one is a passport wallet the other is almost a clutch. I can't wrap my head around the hard compact wallets. Oh and the phone wallet combo, either like this or a actual phone/wallet combo just gives me the willies, you lose both at the same time... I would never NOT be nervous about putting a water bottle in my bag with a laptop and other electronics. lol My current laptop bag has a bottle holder on the outside which is great but won't hold larger bottles.

I've got the ripstop version of this bag, which is even cheaper as is a bit de-contented, but its still one of the most fully featured tote I've ever used. I actually use a crossbody shoulder strap for it and it works great that way. The bonus with the cheaper material is its not a lint picker upper.

There is a money clip and air tag holder available for the Fantom M. The Fantom X has several attachment options if you don't need the MagSafe option. I really like my Fantom X. I tried several (Ridge, Ekster, Secrid, Grip6) and stuck with the Fantom. It's among the lightest out there and smaller than many. It does take a bit of getting used to, but the build quality is up there. Not selling wallets here, just giving my opinion as a Fantom user.

Cool stuff, I'd use the screen protector for a different watch.

Since it is for Urban setting, the Velcro is a good alarm feature for pick pockets but hassle if you are in a school class or a meeting.

A nice and very interesting pouch design. I own a Roaring Fire Dagen canvas backpack. It's a good budget bag that's super comfortable and looks great. I've been interested in trying out a canvas bag for a while, but the price held me back. I would love to own a Nutsac Sling someday.

Thanks for sharing. I have a sling bag from Nutsac in canvas. I was skeptical at first, but absolutely love it. Canvas vs cordura...depends on my plans.

I'm a HUGE FAN of Greenroom 136. I have a rainmaker that i've owned for 4 years now. Still looks brand new and I can fit a ton in there. I often take only that and a sling as my travel bag and have everything I need for a 5 - 7 days. I never have to check a bag that way. I would like to try the Quick draw some day. I am about to purchase the Pakt Anywhere 5L sling.

Do you still have this bag or did you find a better option?

I don’t own one of these personally but Iv used ALOT of 5.11 gear both professionally and personally. Thank you for this review I want a CCW Fanny pack and I was thinking about getting this one becuase Of how much I know and love there gear. This review gave me a lot to think about. On a side note I’m willing to bet the key ring is intended to hook to one of those Keydex trigger guard protectors that are usually on a long string. I sometimes leash my holster to them since I typically keep my handgun in its regular pants holster even if I’m putting it in a backpack. Thanks again for the review

Is it water repellant? I have a Sherpani bag that gets soaked if I'm out in the rain, but it's not made from recycled bottles like this one is...

Excellent mods and set up. You can use Gaffer's tape to secure the strap to the desired length. It will not leave any residue behind.

How big of a tablet/laptop do you think would fit in the tablet space?

There are a few points I underestimate about this product as follows: 1) The bottom of the bag has no padding, which means that if you put your phone in there and put the bag on the ground roughly, it can damage the phone. 2) The "ccw" compartment and the mesh compartment at the back will become useless and inaccessible if you wear it on your stomach because it uses velcro and you can't get the "toy" out. 3) Even though it comes from the famous brand 5.11, the quality of the watch is quite poor, making me feel like it's very cheap. Do not use seatbelts like other brands do. 4) It would be better if the main compartment could be opened at a 170 degree angle so we could easily access items inside. 5) The 3 small mesh compartments inside the main compartment are too big, so we can't install the "EDCs" nicely. It would be better if it were straps so we could fix the flashlight, leatherman,... 6) The white plastic coating inside will peel off after only about 1 month of use

First off, thank you for the review on this bag as I am looking for a basic bag to carry a few things plus three 5.56 mags. Of late, I am now carrying a AR-15 in the truck and I want to have the ability to carry three additional mags in an easy access bag that has no tactical overtones. Our property borders up against NY State, so when I have to go into Indian country, I remove the AR and the cumbersome dump pouch carrying my loose three mags. One thing on reviews of an EDC type bag, especially a sling type, is that I would like to see folks model it and check out the EDC functionality. To keep YT at bay on showing (heaven for bid) an actual firearm, then use a blue pistol or obvious water pistol. Anyway, thank you for your review. It was detailed enough and this bag is on my list as a possibility for my needs. 73 & God Bless

Love it!! Had this in my closet for a while, as summer nears I built it out for having fishing lures and tools with me while I fished either from the bank or in the river. Ends up being absolutely perfect for it.

Nice review :) Do you think it would fit a small camera with a compact lens like the Fujifilm x100v with a small lens hood?

I cut out the center mesh divider in the main compartment and it makes it so much better but keep the wing part of that so it keeps the bag from opening too much.

That little loop in the bottom of the back pocket is the little loop you tie the para cord of the trigger guard holster of the ccw to. I hope that makes sense. Looking forward to see the modifications you make to this pack.
