Jai is still far away from Briedis. I mean than he broke nose he was trying to survive not fight. Briedis with broken arm, broken ribs, broken nose in all of his last fights... his mentality is to go for a win not surviving than he gets injured. For example Marco Huck broke Briedis ribs in 11th round, just watch the fight and you will understand. Jai needs to progress alot, expecially in his mentality, because than he will get older he will get more injuries.
Jai Opetaia is a true warrior. The respect he shows his opponents who are warriors themselves is 2nd to none. Can't wait to see him excel even more in boxing.

2 fights are enough. Opetaia beat Breidis fair and square, and Breidis is one of the best cruiserweights of his era, and is always going to make a tough fight of it, but he is close to retirement. Opetaia must now look forward.

Honestly it's about time someone unify the Cruiserweight belts. For a long time no one seemed to try, sjcne Usyk went to heavyweight. Also the guy who has the wba super belt had it for 5 years and barely foight . Literally defended it in 2019 and then 2022 and then lost it in 2024. And it proves how lazy the WBA.
