Delta 767-300ER - Evening Takeoff from New York JFK to Zurich, Switzerland

JFK-ZRH: I've flown out of JFK to Zurich quite a few times and this is the first time we actually departed on time. I think it helps that the flight departs earlier in the evening. Departed from Terminal 4, lots of Delta heavies around. Not much of a lineup to the runway so we got off the ground without delay. Included a closeup of the wing in order to see all of the details. The 767 is a great airplane.

I remember when the 767 was the state-of-the-art. Funny to hear how noisy it is now. Beautiful sunset. Now the 787 is so much quieter.

Seeing this brings me back to 2005/2006 two trips out of JFK and back both on 767-300ER's to and from SVO Aeroflot and Delta I miss hearing those noises on this plane this video brings me back to those trips

767 forward tilting gear looks so dope! Other planes (airbus) have tried to copy them, but doesn't look as cool!

767 will always be better than the airbus mainly because this delta has the tall 11 foot winglets that are blue, thats why I always choose a 767-300 or 767-300ER
