Love the 764 and the interior still looking smart and modern! What i dont like though is DLs catering concept. They the crew have to build up the meal. It looks messy. I could understand if there was more elements to choose from, but essentially the only choice is just the hot entrees.

Thank you for this! I am flying out of jfk to rome next month - a bit nervous as will be my first longhaul transatlantic - Coming back of course being longer and during the day I am not happy with - but we must fly to travel - again - ty! i know what to expect

My first ever transatlantic flight was JFK to SVO in Moscow with Aeroflot in first class. It was actually quite a nice experience. I went to Moscow a second time flying with Delta, and the Karen flight attendants who started a war just before breakfast couldn’t get any louder

And despite it being on board my favorite American airline
The flight itself was a nightmare.
To begin with, half the passengers were taken to the wrong airport terminal, and we were among those.
The other passengers yelled at the gate agent and demanded to speak to the manager. The bus then pulled up and we had to squeeze into it. We then had to run through the entire airport just to make it on time, only to find out that Delta delayed the flight to let the passengers chill out for a while (very nice of them, but wait for it…)
We took off an hour late, and right around that time of night there was a huge wind current passing New York and the plane started shaking so hard that people were screaming. (Im so dumb, I should’ve recorded it for evidence)
But anyways we landed in Zurich hours later only to find out that it has rained there the night before and that it was still raining (at that point I wasn’t even sure whether or not we were in Switzerland or Estonia)

@@a350 well on the other hand at least the flight back went smoothly
You forgot to mention that the flight was delayed because the passengers were accidentally taken to the wrong terminal and almost missed it. And the fact that heavy turbulence rocked the plane so hard that people were screaming.

Is that your 1st time that your flying the Boeing 767-400ER, including Delta?
Yeah that was my first time on -400, as i know only united and delta operates -400
Yes, same for me, but I flew United airlines rare Boeing 767-400ER domestic flight for the 1st time last March from Honolulu to Washington Dulles and the flight is good and okay, 8 and a half hours. This is my 1st time that I flew United airlines, Boeing 767-400ER and the longest Boeing 767-400ER that can fly for more 8 hours on a long haul flight and it's cool.

Because they take great care of them. Both companies have one the best tech teams in aviation. Delta when it comes to US based travel is the best Airline we have to offer!! And the 764 is much younger than the 763 or the 752!

Why on the delta site does it still say the jfk to Zurich flight is a 300ER 76k not 400?
I don't know, they only fly with 767-400er to Zurich
How much did you pay to fly Delta to Zurich? I am curious.
