Ferraris and Lamborghinis are some of the most famous luxury cars in the world. While the history of Ferrari dates back to 1947, when Enzo Ferrari built the 125 S under the Ferrari name, Lamborghinis did not come into existence until the 1960s. The story goes that during this time, Ferruccio Lamborghini, a wealthy tractor manufacturer, was a dissatisfied Ferrari customer. Lamborghini went to Ferrari and suggested ways that he could improve his cars. Ferrari did not like receiving advice from a mere tractor mechanic and dismissed him. According to The New Economy, he told Lamborghini, “’You may be able to drive a tractor . . . but you will never be able to handle a Ferrari properly.’” Lamborghini was so ticked off at Ferrari that he decided to go off and establish his own car company. In 1963, he founded Automobili Ferruccio Lamborghini and built a factory in Sant’Agata Bolognese in Italy. The first car he made was the Lamborghini 350 GTV, which debuted at the Turin Motor Show in 1963, and the two companies have been rivals ever since. Despite this rivalry, these two brands of cars share many similarities, which we will examine in this episode of The Infographics Show, “Ferrari vs. Lamborghini.”

Lamborghini takes the number 1 spot here since they have created the two fastest stock road legal cars ever. Their Huracan Performante and Aventador SVJ currintly has the two fastest lap times ever in stock cars around the nurburgring.

For example, Ferrari said the Enzo will do around 350 km/h, yet actual tests have proved it has a much higher top speed, of around 370 km/h.
The LaFerrari has been tested by some owners to around 390 km/h.

Anyone can go into a lambo dealership and buy/order pretty much any model (outside of the super limited ones like the veneno or sesto elemento) while you need to have a good relationship with a dealer and own a few older models to get even just a 488 or 812.

Lamborghini are doing amazing in the performance and quality category, just 2 weeks ago the new Lamborghini aventador SVJ made a new Nurburgring lap recorded and March 2017 Lamborghini made a Nurburgring lap recorded also. Where as Ferrari haven’t made any new records or even showed any lap times. The 488 pista was described as being a normal 488 with nothing very exciting about it. Ferrari lost there touch by 2014/2015, the 458 was there last good Ferrari. Now a days there is so many better car manufacturers like mclaren and Porsche. In F1 Ferrari has been behind and now Mercedes has caught up. The design for the 812 and portifino is questionable to the point where the f12 looks better.

This video is obviously not made for car people! Many things are just wrong here:
1. All you've done here is list of specs you took from other websites, and let me tell you one thing, the worst way to compare cars is by looking at the spec sheet.
2. Why compare fuel consumption for cars like these? That's completely useless.!
3. Lamborghini does race their cars, a lot! Saying that they don't because it is to expensive etc is complete nonsense (Maybe in their starting years they didn't but now they very much do!)
4. Ferrari has had a wider model range than Lamborghini for Years (Not the other way around) Ferrari has; Entry level (Portofino, California T), Touring (GTC4Lusso, FF), Front engine V12 (F12, 812 SF), actual 'supercars' (458, 488) and the hypercars (LaFerrari, Enzo) while lamborgihi only has the 'cheaper supercar' (Huracan, Gallardo), more 'expensive supercar' (aventador, murcie) and the hypercar (Centenario). Only this year they introduced their 'second' SUV ,the Urus which results in them still having less models in their rangs than Ferrari.
5. Listing all the systems they have that effect handeling proves nothing because most of those systems are also on everyday cars.
6. Don't compare both of these to brands like Koenigsegg and Hennessey in terms of topspeed because they are trying to achieve something completely else on a totaly different level. (In terms of speed and price)

Don't say that Ferrari makes the more race inspired/oriented cars because while they do have stuf like the 488 Pista, 458 Speciale and F12 TDF, Lamborghini has also got track focused cars like the Aventador SV and SVJ as well the Huracan Performante (Mentioned in this very video for good handling). I will even go as far as saying that Lamborghini road cars are probably better at racing than Ferrari roadcars, just by looking at what they have been doing at the Nurburgring lately (Huracan performante prod. car lap record, broken by the Porsche GT2 RS and recently reclaimed by the Aventador SVJ while Ferrari has not put out any offical laptimes as of late).
As always tough the video is nicely produced but the way you compare these two brands is just not right.
So much time wasted on production when they've invested little to no time for research; they just copied and pasted numbers on their script. They might as well title the video 'which number is better?'

Han Zarco Lamborghini has changed a lot in the last two decades in terms of performance. Before they made fast cars that were more of spectacles rather than real racing cars, but the recent models are very much different now. Throughout the entire history I wouldn’t say that Lamborghini is better, but things are starting to change a lot.

To clarify: The cars only reached those speeds during tests. If you compare that to the maglev test speed of 603km/h it becomes far less impressive.
