!I've never been so lucky to be a professional dog groomer! Our Dog Duke was skunked, so I used the opportunity to share my salon skunk bath routine with you! It worked like a charm!

👍Good advice. I had to leave the solution on for half hour cause she slipped her collar & ran out into our backyard. But I finally rinsed her & she’s good enough to let her in the fam room in her kennel. She actually smells pretty good now. She got two skunks & got so scared & confused cause she thought she was doing something to protect the place. I will put some conditioner on her later ( whatever we have for our hair) so her skin isn’t too dried out.

My girl got sprayed again at 4:30am Wednesday(2 days ago), and it worked beautifully again, but this time her hair was a little bleached by the peroxide.
My dog is half schnauzer ,,, and I think this is the “ attack” part of her. Vet says Schnauzer/Yorkie,,, amazing mutt, but wow this is our 3 rd time.

But please immediately flush the dogs eyes with water skunk spray is like tear gas and causes temporary blindness or damage their eyes ….. great video 😊

My dogs got sprayed but they were wet from rain when they come back in, therefore this didn't work after three baths each. So is this smell just going to be here until it wears off?
Oh my gosh! Years ago (30+), I'd use tomato sauce to get rid of skunk odor on my dog. It took a lot. This disaster happened to our current dog, Scout, a few nights ago & I went directly to the tomato sauce.
After watching your video, I regret that bath! No wonder he AND the house still smells badly.
Despite that bath, I am going to proceed to your remedy. It certainly can't hurt at this point.

Tomato baths were what everyone used to do up until the 90s. Then people started to switch to this method. But the tomato bath was the way to go back then

My dogs got skunked a week ago when they went out to potty at 6am (still dark) in the RAIN. I wonder if the smell will ever go away? 😢
Hi, I didn’t know this trick, and gave my dog a bath right after... will the peroxide, baking soda and Dawn still work if I do it since he got a water bath?? 😫
It may lift it a little bit, but it won't go away completely, and will probably still smell for a month or so whenever your dog gets wet! Just a waiting game!

We are dealing with this now. She had tomato sauce on her for hours. Then a bath later. Unfortunately she still stinks to high heaven. I'm going to try this tomorrow.
I wish I had found your video before we got our dog wet. The other recipes we found were a qt of peroxide and 1/4 cup soda. I like your recipe better! The other recipe was too runny! Petey still stinks after we screwed up getting him wet. But he smells so much better after your recipe.

My dog always stinks what can I do to make him smell better, he his almost 5 months old. Lol baths don’t work
I would definitely find a highly recommended groomer in your area! They would be able to tell you if the stink is more than just normal active dog smell. It could be skin issues, yeast infection, or an ear infection! But more likely he just likes to be a dog and have fun in the dirt 😉 You can get recommendations from a local groomer too on some good products for at home bathing! I personally use a brand called Tropiclean but it's on the mild side. Lab baths are usually pretty cheap too to get professionally done because there is no trimming involved, only nails and bath/blowout/de-shed. I hope this helps! xoxoxo
Hi I didn’t know this and we washed our dog immediately it was 1:00 am she was fine but 3 days in the smell is slowly coming back😢 what can we do?
