Many respected him for his skill, and quality content he put on the internet. However, he started making cancerous Fortnite videos, and his audience is now a bunch of nine-year-olds. Muselk will just jump on the next hype train, and his channel will thrive. He did the same thing from TF2 to Overwatch, but unlike Overwatch, Muselk really doesn't enjoy Fortnite as much as he seems to in his videos.

Season 2 of fortnite was the most fun I've had with a video game in a long time. Sadly, I think it might not work. Because of the accessibility of in game currency and the fact FortNite is free, Skyrim won’t have the same mega fan base size because not as many twelve year olds who make up big canvases can afford it.

To be fair there are some games that are almost immune to dying or at least stay popular for a really really long time. Examples for this would be Warcraft 3, League of Legends, DotA 2, Age of Empires, Bloons Tower Defense Battles, World of Warcraft and Neverwinter. It's because all of those games heavily attract people who are willing to learn everything about the game and are willing to stay at one game for a long time.
I think one of the biggest problems with Fortnite now is the skill gap between new and regular players. New players really can't develop now, or it'd be very difficult for them. No matchmaking offers them a lack of chance now, even as someone that played the game a lot, and stepped back, and then came back, found a struggle to enjoy the game when you're consistently dying.

Good video. I think what most people can't comprehend about the stream numbers, is that Fortnite isn't even the highest viewed game in the world, because that is only counting Twitch. Individual League of Legends streamers have over a million concurrent viewers in China (the pro-player Uzi with around 4 million, as an example). Hell, even StarCraft Brood War, a game originally released in 1998 has approximately 100 thousand viewers at all times when counting in Korean streaming sites such as AfreecaTV (along with Twitch, CZcams etc.) With all that being said, I can't wait for this short attention span exploiting, dopamine rush-inducing forced esport of a game to die already.
The game is clearly dying, most of the og players don't even like the game anymore as they are trying too much to bring in a new casual audience by ruining the gameplay by trying to remove whatever is left of a skill gap. They also don't even fix the game (a lot of guns are shit as the damage outputs are completely random and bloom ruins using them) they're more bothered about adding in shit items like the stink bomb, shopping cart and guided rpg to generate hype for the community, but then adding them to the vault as they are completely broken. And focusing more on making new skins just to make a bit of cash. Game was good, now it ain't. They can easily fix all the problems I have listed, but they just choose to ignore them.

MrGladBEASTftw No It’s been dead since Black Ops 3. A lot of people got that, but not nearly as many stuck around for the entire dlc cycle. Then you had infinite warfare which killed the franchise and World War II which wasn’t enough to save it. The only was to save it is to hop on the gold old Black Ops name and try a new game for that. Still though, I think it’s too far gone.
The thing is Fortnite has only 1 year, and even if it will eventually die (and honestly, nobody can affirm it won't, because it's impossible for a game not to die sooner or later, that's the point of video games), it still has a LOT of time to expand even more. First because their e-sport scene (which is one of the best way to advertise your game) almost just started (with 100M$, they've got a lot of events to realise), and secondly because a game that managed to dominate over LoL, CoD, and OW can't die that early.
As a CSGO player, I saw H1Z1, PlayerUnknow's Battlegrounds and then Fortnite take the heads of the video game standings in turn. They all died as fast as they appeared, while CS is still here for a long time :)

To be fair there are some games that are almost immune to dying or at least stay popular for a really really long time. Examples for this would be Warcraft 3, League of Legends, DotA 2, Age of Empires, Bloons Tower Defense Battles, World of Warcraft and Neverwinter. It's because all of those games heavily attract people who are willing to learn everything about the game and are willing to stay at one game for a long time.
I think one of the biggest problems with Fortnite now is the skill gap between new and regular players. New players really can't develop now, or it'd be very difficult for them. No matchmaking offers them a lack of chance now, even as someone that played the game a lot, and stepped back, and then came back, found a struggle to enjoy the game when you're consistently dying.

Good video. I think what most people can't comprehend about the stream numbers, is that Fortnite isn't even the highest viewed game in the world, because that is only counting Twitch. Individual League of Legends streamers have over a million concurrent viewers in China (the pro-player Uzi with around 4 million, as an example). Hell, even StarCraft Brood War, a game originally released in 1998 has approximately 100 thousand viewers at all times when counting in Korean streaming sites such as AfreecaTV (along with Twitch, CZcams etc.)
With all that being said, I can't wait for this short attention span exploiting, dopamine rush-inducing forced esport of a game to die already.

The game is clearly dying, most of the og players don't even like the game anymore as they are trying too much to bring in a new casual audience by ruining the gameplay by trying to remove whatever is left of a skill gap. They also don't even fix the game (a lot of guns are shit as the damage outputs are completely random and bloom ruins using them) they're more bothered about adding in shit items like the stink bomb, shopping cart and guided rpg to generate hype for the community, but then adding them to the vault as they are completely broken. And focusing more on making new skins just to make a bit of cash. Game was good, now it ain't. They can easily fix all the problems I have listed, but they just choose to ignore them.

Then you had infinite warfare which killed the franchise and World War II which wasn’t enough to save it. The only was to save it is to hop on the gold old Black Ops name and try a new game for that. Still though, I think it’s too far gone.

The thing is Fortnite has only 1 year, and even if it will eventually die (and honestly, nobody can affirm it won't, because it's impossible for a game not to die sooner or later, that's the point of video games), it still has a LOT of time to expand even more. First because their e-sport scene (which is one of the best way to advertise your game) almost just started (with 100M$, they've got a lot of events to realise), and secondly because a game that managed to dominate over LoL, CoD, and OW can't die that early.
As a CSGO player, I saw H1Z1, PlayerUnknow's Battlegrounds and then Fortnite take the heads of the video game standings in turn. They all died as fast as they appeared, while CS is still here for a long time :)
